Ivy Sumrs, dare to play?
"What if I can’t leave?"
Clever.
She knows the consequences of not leaving.
Damien Lancaster stepped forward, and as she retreated, he wrapped his arm around her waist, not letting her escape.
"If you can’t leave, then stay and be my wife obediently."
He lowered his head, his gaze falling on her exquisite face.
"You’re very beautiful, Ivy Sumrs. I don’t want other n to touch such a beautiful woman."
Ivy Sumrs’ beautiful eyes lifted slightly, her hand resting on his chest, gently stroking.
"So you fancy my face?"
Three years as a couple, how could she not know that he’s a face-watcher.
Just as she was speaking.
In the next second, Damien Lancaster frowned.
This woman pinched his flesh.
Taking advantage of his pain, Ivy Sumrs pushed him away and put so distance between them.
She cursed, "Damien Lancaster, the shaless one is you, making play a cat-and-mouse ga, and you’re the absolute ruler of this ga, you tell , how can I win?"
Leaving Aethelgard right under his nose.
Is she dreaming?
"That’s your problem."
Ivy Sumrs narrowed her eyes, "Do you really want to stay? Aren’t you afraid we’ll both be sick of each other? Damien Lancaster, a forced lon is not sweet."
"How do you know it’s not sweet until you’ve tried it?"
In Ivy Sumrs’ eyes, Damien Lancaster was acting like a lunatic today.
His actions were incomprehensible.
After a mont of silence, Ivy Sumrs pressed her lips tightly.
She knew, no matter what, this was an opportunity.
Even if she didn’t succeed, she could still run.
"Don’t think about agreeing this ti, and running next ti when you fail."
Damien Lancaster seed to know her thoughts inside out.
His voice was deep, "I’ve given you a chance, next ti you run, if you’re caught once, your legs will be broken."
Damn it.
Ivy Sumrs cursed Damien Lancaster’s ancestors eighteen generations in her heart.
He obviously knew she couldn’t run away.
He was deliberately giving her hope, only to plunge her into despair.
Ivy Sumrs, with her unyielding nature, just had to give it a try.
"Any ans, right?"
"Yes."
"Then let’s try."
Divorce, no entanglent, no kids! Too many chips were stacked up, too tempting, it was worth a try for Ivy Sumrs.
Ivy looked at the ti, it was now four in the afternoon, and she didn’t have much ti left.
Ivy Sumrs turned and left directly.
Damien Lancaster watched her back, picked up the phone, "From now on, put down everything in your hands and keep an eye on Ivy Sumrs, don’t let her leave Aethelgard for a single step."
...
As Ivy Sumrs went downstairs, she encountered Lawyer Sawyer and Assistant Dixon, who were about to leave.
They were all people of Gregory Lancaster.
Ivy Sumrs’ eyes shifted, thinking of a way, and she walked up, "Assistant Dixon."
Diana Dalton naturally knew Ivy Sumrs, and since she wasn’t divorced from Damien Lancaster, Diana politely addressed her as, "Young Madam."
"Could you give President Lancaster’s contact information?"
Diana Dalton hesitated slightly...
An hour later, Ivy Sumrs arrived at the airport.
She applied for a private plane route, and at this mont, the private plane was parked on the airport tarmac.
Damien Lancaster said any ans, including a private plane.
In the car, Noah Scott, dressed in a black robe, leaned back lazily, looking as if he just woke up, completely at ease, yet his deep-set, cold features and tall, upright stature were exceptionally intimidating.
He looked at Ivy Sumrs in the passenger seat, "What are you playing at?"
"Cat and mouse ga."
"You’re the cat?"
"I’m the mouse."
"..." Noah Scott took a drag on his cigarette, "So?"
"Need to run."
Noah Scott, "..."
"Need your help."
Noah Scott agreed with an "Mm," without saying a word, "Get out of the car."
"Wait, are you just going dressed like that?"
Ivy Sumrs looked at his casual attire, going in and out of the airport, it’s too...
"Is there a problem?"
Ivy Sumrs tugged at her lips, "Forget it, it’s not important."
Ivy Sumrs pushed open the car door and got out.
anwhile, on Damien Lancaster’s side, Julian Jacobs ca to report, "Sir, Miss Sumrs sought Noah Scott’s help, and they are already at the airport."
Damien Lancaster sat there expressionless, giving no hint of what he was thinking.
Julian Jacobs had already stationed n around the airport, just waiting for Damien’s command, ensuring Ivy Sumrs couldn’t leave Aethelgard.
"Sir, do you need to stop Miss Sumrs?"
"What was her expression when she went to the airport?"
Damien Lancaster’s question caught Julian Jacobs by surprise.
Julian thought for a mont, "Well... she seed happy..."
"Was her happiness obvious?"
Julian Jacobs didn’t respond.
Damien Lancaster glanced at him, "You don’t have to say it, I know her happiness was obvious."
Leaving him would make her extrely happy.
"No need to stop her for now, let her enjoy her happiness for a little while longer."
After a brief mont of happiness, she’d be unhappy.
Does she think getting Noah Scott’s help would work?
Doesn’t she know whose territory this is?
"Bring Sophie and Ella Morgan over." Damien Lancaster’s voice was low.
"Yes."
Damien Lancaster allowed Ivy Sumrs to use any ans, but he never said he wouldn’t use his own thods.
...
Elsewhere, Rachel Shaw was frantically urging Phillip Shaw to gather information on Ivy Sumrs.
Hearing that Ivy was at the airport planning to leave Aethelgard, Rachel’s face turned ominous, "Ivy Sumrs intends to leave? Didn’t Damien stop her? And what about Sophie, her child, didn’t she take her?"
Phillip Shaw said, "She didn’t take that child."
Rachel Shaw let out a cold laugh, "Ivy Sumrs can really act, knowing that taking the child now would be self-defeating, she simply leaves the child in Aethelgard and tries to go back herself. But can she really go back?"
Rachel Shaw wouldn’t let Ivy Sumrs return, this bitch had hard her so badly, and she herself intended to walk away?
Wishful thinking.
"Dad, figure out a way, get rid of Ivy Sumrs!"
Phillip Shaw was taken aback by her words, quickly going over to close the hospital room door, "Are you crazy?"
"I am crazy."
She’d suffered humiliation.
She couldn’t swallow this anger.
Ivy Sumrs must die.
Penelope Page worriedly advised her, "The incident just happened; don’t be so hasty. Even if you want revenge, you should wait."
"No." Rachel Shaw shook her head resolutely, "Mom, you’re wrong. Just because the incident just happened, Ivy Sumrs thinks she’s won. Now, when she’s most relaxed, is the best ti to strike."
"But isn’t she about to leave?"
Rachel Shaw believed that once she disclosed Sophie’s secret to the Lancaster Family, they wouldn’t let Sophie leave first.
Without Sophie leaving, Ivy Sumrs wouldn’t leave either.
"She can’t leave, Dad. As long as she hasn’t, it’s the best ti to make a move. An accidental death that leaves no trace."
Rachel Shaw’s malevolent smile curled up, her determined look to see Ivy Sumrs dead sent chills down the backs of Phillip Shaw and Penelope Page.
...
Ivy Sumrs made her way to the tarmac, she was about to board the private plane, and everything was going smoothly.
So smoothly that Ivy Sumrs, even surrounded by Noah Scott’s people, still felt uneasy.
And as she expected, just as she was about to get on the plane, she was suddenly surrounded.
Soon, many of Damien Lancaster’s people appeared around, whom Ivy Sumrs recognized at once.
Ivy Sumrs wasn’t flustered and looked back at them.
Damien Lancaster’s subordinate stepped forward and said, "Miss Sumrs, my master asked if you didn’t plan on keeping Sophie? If not, he’ll take her back to the Lancaster Family."
