Ivy Sumrs tensed up all over, stopping Old Master Lancaster, "Grandpa, it’s so late, you should go back and rest."
Old Master Lancaster was suspicious, "Is there soone in your car? I thought I saw sothing flash and duck down just now."
"Grandpa, you must be seeing things. How could there be soone in my car? Grandpa, I have things to do, I should go now, you should also head ho."
Ivy Sumrs opened the front car door, and Noah Scott was sending her off, taking the driver’s seat.
"Ivy, wait a mont."
The old master walked up, and a chill ran down Ivy Sumrs’ spine, breaking into a cold sweat.
Because as soon as she opened the car door, Nathan and Leo were in the back seat, if the old master glanced sideways, he would see them.
Ivy Sumrs forced herself to remain calm and turned around.
"Grandpa, do you need sothing else?"
"I’ve heard about recent events; Damien was wrong, and I’m apologizing on his behalf."
"Grandpa, there’s plenty he did wrong to , you can’t apologize for him every ti." Ivy Sumrs gave a bitter smile.
"Grandpa, please go back and rest well, I’m leaving now."
After speaking with the old master, Ivy Sumrs got into the car, and Noah Scott started the car, making a beautiful turn and leaving.
The old master sighed, "The person beside Ivy looks familiar."
The old housekeeper asked, "Master, do you recognize him?"

Ivy Sumrs patted her chest, feeling a sense of having survived a disaster, then turned to look at Nathan and Leo.
Nathan and Leo were leaning on the back of the front seats, "Mommy, tell us what happened in there."
Ivy Sumrs knew they were curious and gave a simple explanation.
Leo exaggeratedly exclaid "Wow," clapping his hands, "Uncle Scott is aweso."
Noah Scott smirked, "Compared to Damien Lancaster?"
"Uncle Scott is much better than Dog Dad."
Noah Scott appreciated such complints, and Ivy Sumrs noticed his pleased smile.
Back at the hotel.
Noah Scott glanced at the hotel while sitting in the car, "Are you planning to stay here for a while?"
"Yeah, there’s broken glass all over the house downstairs, it’s unsafe."
"I can find you an apartnt."
"No need, I’ll call soone to clean up and replace the glass, then we can go back. We should go, you should head back early, and be careful on the road."
Ivy Sumrs got out of the car with Nathan and Leo.
Back in the room, Ivy Sumrs had booked a family suite, with rooms and a small living room outside. She sent the two little ones to bathe and sleep, while she tidied up the things she had brought.
After a day of troubles, Ivy Sumrs felt utterly exhausted.
Nathan and Leo sensibly bathed and lay down to sleep, while Ivy Sumrs went to shower.
At this ti, the doorbell rang.
"Mommy, soone’s here."
Wearing a robe and drying her hair, Ivy Sumrs walked out of the bathroom, frowning suspiciously, "Who could it be at this hour?"
She hadn’t told anyone the room she was staying in, not even Noah Scott.
Why would soone co?
Even if it were room service, it wouldn’t be at this hour.
Ivy Sumrs glanced at the two little ones and cautiously said, "Stay in the room, don’t co out."
"Mommy, is it dangerous?"
The night’s attack had left them with psychological shadows.
"It shouldn’t be."
It’s a high-end hotel, with security and surveillance, who would dare make a move here.
Besides, after Noah Scott taught them a lesson, they wouldn’t dare in the short term.
Ivy Sumrs placed the towel aside, closed the door to the room, and walked toward the outer door. She cautiously stood by it and asked, "Who is it?"
"It’s ."
It was Damien Lancaster’s deep voice.
Ivy Sumrs’ heart skipped a beat.
Shouldn’t he be with Rachel Shaw at the hospital now?
How did he know she was at the hotel, and even the exact room number, and co here?
Ivy Sumrs thought of Nathan and Leo inside, her heart raced, and she dared not make a sound again.
But she had already made a sound, letting Damien Lancaster confirm she was there.
"Open the door."
Ivy Sumrs didn’t respond.
"Ivy Sumrs, I know you’re in there. If I could find out you’re here, I can find a way in. Do you think you can hide?"
Nathan and Leo heard the noise and ca out but didn’t make any sound.
Ivy Sumrs imdiately gestured for them to go back into the room and not co out.
The two little ones quickly realized sothing and returned to the room, closing the door.
Ivy Sumrs knew a single door couldn’t stop President Lancaster.
If he really wanted to co in, he could call soone to remove the door.
Ivy Sumrs let out a small breath, opened the door, and prepared to go out to explain to him.
"What are you trying to do?"
As soon as she spoke, the man grabbed her hand with one hand and pushed against the door with the other, forcefully pulling her into the room.
Ivy Sumrs was startled, pinned against the wall by his strong body, with a strong sll of alcohol hitting her.
Damien Lancaster had been drinking.
Ivy Sumrs frowned, looking up, Damien Lancaster had taken off his suit jacket, wearing only a white shirt, with the collar unbuttoned, giving a more casual, languid appearance than his usual formal look.
He held her slender wrist easily, pressing against the wall with her attempt to push him away.
Ivy Sumrs was only wearing a bathrobe, exuding the scent of shower gel. Her hair was wet, draped casually over her shoulders, water droplets running down her fair neck, making her entire being exude sensuality and allure.
And this position was incredibly dangerous for her.
Ivy Sumrs’ heart pounded, angrily glaring at Damien Lancaster, "What’s wrong with you now? Let go."
"Ivy Sumrs, you’ve really outdone yourself."
Ivy Sumrs struggled hard but was no match for the man’s strength.
Finally, her wrist was gripped tightly, causing pain, and she couldn’t escape his grip.
"What do you want? Damien Lancaster, get out!" Ivy Sumrs looked at him, furious.
"Don’t you have anything to explain about today’s incidents?"
"Explain your ass, let go." Ivy Sumrs, unable to break free, lifted her leg to attack his most vulnerable spot.
But he saw through her and blocked it.
"What are you trying to do? Really don’t want to continue living?"
"Who wants to live with you? I already said it: divorce, divorce, divorce." Ivy Sumrs was both furious and annoyed, struggling, and her bathrobe, only tied by a belt, began to loosen, revealing her shoulder.
Ivy Sumrs tried to adjust it, but both hands were held by Damien Lancaster, causing her pretty face to flush with embarrassnt.
Damien Lancaster’s eyes were deep and alcoholic, staring at her as if he wanted to consu her entirely.
"Alright, we’ll talk about this later, explain to why you booked a family suite."
Ivy Sumrs’ heart skipped a beat, if not for her expression already filled with fearful anger, she would have shown a flaw.
Damien Lancaster’s gaze moved past her, toward the room’s inner door.
When his eyes returned, he said, "I forgot one thing, Ivy Sumrs, Sophie isn’t our child, and I can’t rule out the possibility that you have a child."
Apart from his voice, Ivy Sumrs could only hear her intense heartbeat in her ears.
At this mont, she couldn’t remain calm at all.
Damien Lancaster had been certain that Sophie was their daughter, focusing entirely on her, and once the test ruled it out, his suspicion shifted but never vanished.
It was deadly.
"I’ve said it a million tis, I don’t have a child."
"Even if you say it a million more tis, you’re still lying."
The more she denied, the more suspicious Damien Lancaster beca.
Damien Lancaster released her hand, but not her, dragging her to stand at the room’s entrance, "Shall we go in now and see? Maybe we can find a child. Ivy Sumrs, do you dare?"
