Ivy Sumrs spoke coldly, "Damien Lancaster, don’t think that by doing this, I’ll forgive you. I’m not like those people who can forget everything after getting a slap and then a sweet date as compensation."

Damien Lancaster lowered his gaze to the bowl of porridge spilled all over the floor, still steaming.

Julian Jacobs shrank back in fear; Ivy Sumrs was the first person to dare to knock over Damien Lancaster’s bowl. Her rebellious deanor seed to be declaring war on Damien.

Julian Jacobs secretly glanced at Damien Lancaster, expecting him to get angry and explode, but instead saw Damien walking over in silence to open another bowl of porridge, giving Julian the illusion that his boss’s temper had improved.

But the next mont, Julian realized it was rely an illusion.

"Eat!"

Damien Lancaster placed the porridge in front of Ivy Sumrs, his attitude forceful and his tone commanding.

Ivy Sumrs was not soone who responded to force or coercion. She picked up the bowl and smashed it against Damien Lancaster’s expensive shirt. "Take your porridge and get out."

The porridge was freshly bought, placed in a delicate thermos, still steaming, and now it was all over Damien Lancaster’s shirt, creating a ss.

Julian Jacobs raised both hands to cover his face, not daring to breathe.

Damien Lancaster’s long brows furrowed tightly as he glanced at the porridge on him. Finally, Ivy Sumrs’ actions angered him. "If you don’t eat, then go hungry."

Ivy Sumrs watched as Damien Lancaster left, suppressing his anger, slamming the door behind him.

Julian Jacobs hurriedly followed, but got his head caught in the closing door.

Ivy Sumrs lowered her head, covering her chest as she took several deep breaths, barely stopping herself from being infuriated by Damien Lancaster. She never imagined divorce could be so difficult.

Damien Lancaster walked outside, leaning against the wall to light a cigarette, but rembering he was in a hospital, he irritably extinguished it.

Zachary Lancaster sauntered over, glancing at the porridge stains on Damien Lancaster’s clothes, examining them for a long while as if scrutinizing an unexpectedly artistic creation.

After a while, he snickered, "Who would have thought, the mighty President Lancaster, would have such a pathetic day. Brother, is this karma?"

Damien Lancaster’s handso face remained tense, saying nothing.

Zachary asked soone passing by for two tissues and handed them to Damien Lancaster. "Want to change your clothes first?"

Damien Lancaster pushed his hand away, "No need."

Zachary glanced into the ward, then back at Damien. "Should I go buy sothing for sister-in-law to eat?"

"Ignore her, let her starve."

Zachary raised an eyebrow, smiled, and leaned against the hallway wall, speaking nonchalantly, "Honestly, won still need coaxing. Especially n like you who’ve made a big mistake need to appease stubborn won like your sister-in-law."

Damien Lancaster frowned at him, "Who are you calling stubborn?"

Zachary, "Just an analogy."

Damien Lancaster withdrew his gaze, a dark cloud hovering between his brows.

Seeing Damien Lancaster in distress, Zachary spoke again, "Why don’t I give you a tip to ensure sister-in-law forgives you?"

Damien looked at him.

Zachary raised his eyebrows, "Admit your guilt sincerely. Take off your shirt, bear so punishnt, kneel before sister-in-law, and maybe she’ll soften and forgive you."

"Get lost."

"Brother, don’t you think your mistake isn’t big enough to admit guilt?"

Zachary looked at Damien, expression implying he had yet to recognize his mistake.

In all his life, Damien Lancaster had never bowed before anyone, let alone strip and kneel to admit his mistakes. He could never do that.

Zachary chuckled twice, with a stark clarity of seeing through everything, "When sister-in-law really divorces you, then you’ll see how good my suggestion was."

At the ntion of divorce, Damien’s face turned cold instantly.

In truth, he knew well that in this cat-and-mouse ga with Ivy Sumrs, he was the real loser.

When Noah Scott said, "She’s risking her life to leave you," he had already lost, completely defeated. He never imagined Ivy Sumrs would want to leave him so desperately.

She was willing to stake her life just to get away from him.

Isn’t that also a kind of loss?

Damien Lancaster’s hand, hanging at his side, slowly clenched into a fist, veins bulging on the back of his hand, then suddenly he punched the wall hard.

A dull thud sounded, making Zachary jump back in fright, "What the hell, no need to kill just because my suggestion didn’t work."

"Get lost," Damien Lancaster roared angrily.

Zachary instantly shut up, neither he nor Julian Jacobs dared to linger longer, quickly scurrying away.

Anger surged in Damien Lancaster’s dark eyes; he closed them briefly, then took a deep breath, speaking in a cold, calm tone, "Get back here."

The two, who had run not far, exchanged a glance and turned back.

"Go buy sothing for her to eat."

Damien Lancaster’s voice was icy, all emotion hidden without a trace, as if he wasn’t the sa person who just said he’d let Ivy Sumrs starve.

Zachary remained silent for a mont, "..."

Damien Lancaster frowned, "Why aren’t you moving?"

Zachary didn’t move, wearing an expression that said he had developed an attitude, suggesting he’d go only if asked nicely.

But Damien did not speak further, only needed one look, and Zachary instantly changed his mind, turning to buy porridge.

Zachary Lancaster was quite afraid of his brother Damien Lancaster after all, having been dominated by bloodline pressure and beaten up since they were young.

Zachary Lancaster had no doubt that if he delayed for another second, Damien Lancaster’s fist would land on his face.

Zachary brought back so porridge and delivered it to Ivy Sumrs’ hospital room.

"Sister-in-law."

Ivy Sumrs frowned, "Why are you here?"

Zachary walked over and naturally put down what he was holding, "Grandfather heard you were injured and got very worried; he specifically asked to bring so food for you."

Since the Old Master sent it, Ivy naturally wouldn’t refuse.

Zachary lowered his head and opened the box.

Ivy watched his clumsy, awkward movents, clearly showing that the pampered Second Young Master Lancaster had never taken care of anyone.

"I’ll do it myself."

Ivy opened the food box, and Zachary bent down and sat beside her, "Try it quickly."

Ivy looked up at him.

Zachary noticed the confusion in Ivy’s eyes and added, "Grandfather asked to watch you eat it all."

Ivy was indeed hungry now, so she didn’t say much more, picked up a spoon, and took a bite.

"Is it good?"

"It’s okay."

"My brother specifically instructed them to buy it."

Ivy lifted her head, her brows knitted.

Zachary said, "If I didn’t say that, you wouldn’t eat."

Ivy pulled out two tissues, spat it out, and threw it into the garbage bag.

The action was swift and direct.

Zachary: "..."

Outside, Julian Jacobs sneaked a glance at the man beside him, who was emitting a chilly aura, and he didn’t dare to look at the foul expression on his boss’s face.

"Sir..."

Damien Lancaster pushed open the door and walked directly into the hospital room.

As soon as he entered, the air pressure in the room dropped instantly.

Damien Lancaster narrowed his eyes and stared at Ivy Sumrs, "Do you despise so much? You won’t even eat the things I had soone buy for you."

Damien clearly understood that she was using this thod to resist him, trying to sever all ties with him.

"Yes, I despise you."

Damien clenched his fists, "You two get out."

"Bro, calm down, dostic violence is illegal."

Zachary said and quickly retreated, rembering to close the door behind him.

Only Ivy Sumrs and Damien Lancaster were left in the hospital room, and a surge of rage burned inside Damien.

Despising him, trying to sever all ties with him, and then divorce.

Ha, dream on.

Damien stepped forward, grasped Ivy’s shoulders, pinned her to the bed, and fiercely kissed the lips that always provoked his anger.

Ivy’s pupils contracted, and her brain froze.

She looked at the man pressing down on her and kissing her.

What is he doing?

He must be crazy.

Ivy struggled hard, but lacking the man’s strength, she couldn’t escape his hold.

When she pushed him, he beca even more domineering.

Ivy opened her mouth and bit his lip hard.

The taste of blood imdiately spread between their lips and teeth.

Damien, feeling the pain, released her, the crimson blood spreading across his thin lips, adding a touch of wickedness to his handso face.

Ivy watched Damien Lancaster with wary eyes.

Damien let out an indifferent sneer, continuing to press her, his lips grinding against hers.

No matter how Ivy resisted, Damien did not let her go.

Ivy raised her hand.

Slap!

A sharp slap rang out on Damien Lancaster’s face.
