Arriving at the police station, Ethan imdiately approached Richard who was waiting for him in the parking lot.
"Richard," said Ethan coldly.
"You'd better get in quickly, Mr. Hans is in there too," said Richard with a serious look.
without responding, Ethan imdiately walked towards the main door of the police station, then he entered and saw Hans negotiating with the police officers.
"My daughter has a ntal disturbance, she doesn't deserve to be jailed," Hans said seriously looking at the police officers.
"But your daughter has injured my wife, if the shot didn't miss, it might have killed my wife," said Ethan with a look so cold from his dark blue eyes, he was so annoyed to see the middle-aged man in front of him.
Hans turned to look at the newly arrived Ethan. "My daughter did that because her soul was shaken, so don't punish her recklessly, she's already suffered enough!"
"You should keep her from hurting other people!" Ethan was getting emotional, his eyes sharpened with anger. Of course, which husband would not be emotional if the wife he loved so much was injured while the culprit would be defended not to get punished.
Ethan hates Sarah not only because he has hurt Luna, but because every ti he sees Sarah, he rembers how Sarah had slandered him in front of Luna when she was pregnant as if adding to Luna's suffering at that ti.

"If you realize your daughter is out of her mind, you should take her to the right place instead of locking her up in the house and then running away and hurting my wife!"
Hans got up from the chair then looked at Ethan with his fists clenched, ready to punch Ethan in the face. "My daughter is still sane, don't talk nonsense. She is like that because of you and your wife! You made her husband die while she was pregnant."
"Co on, don't make a fuss here!" shouted the police officer sternly.
Ethan fell silent and felt as if he had been beaten when Hans blad himself for Edward's death. 'I don't want my brother to die either, I'm also devastated by his death,' he thought regretfully.
Hans sat back in his chair, occasionally glancing at Ethan with hatred. The man loved his only daughter who had the unfortunate fate, anyone would be sad to see his daughter depressed.
"We will conduct a psychiatric examination of Sarah, if it is proven that she has a ntal disorder, we will transfer her to a rehabilitation center, otherwise she will be arrested for attempted murder," the police official explained.
Ethan nodded in agreent, but Hans imdiately interrupted.
"I'll take her ho, I'll make sure she won't run away again," said Hans.
"You can't, sir, she must be taken to a rehabilitation center according to procedures and the police will continue to monitor her," replied the police officer.
"I agree because she could just run away and attack my wife again," said Ethan coldly.
Feeling that he would not win with this negotiation, Hans imdiately got up from his chair. "You want to make my daughter suffer even more!"
Hans imdiately walked away going out of the police station.
Ethan rembered Luna's ssage wanting to know about Sarah's child, he imdiately walked after Hans followed by Richard who had been following him for a while listening to the conversation with the police.
"Mr. Hans!" call Ethan when you get to the parking lot.
Hans, who was about to open the car door, turned to look at Ethan who called out to him. "What else do you want to say about my daughter?" he asked curtly.
Ethan walked closer to Hans. "Where's Sarah's child? he's my nephew, I deserve to know how he's doing." Ethan asked probingly.
Hans paused for a mont looking away, then looked back at Ethan. "He's dead, so don't ask again about him," he said m.
Ethan was silent with a feeling of awkwardness, felt like a thousand needles were being stabbed, he felt a pain in his heart. The man smiled faintly and shook his head in disbelief at the news he had just heard.
"You must be lying, I know the baby is small and weak, but the life expectancy is still very high. You don't lie just because you don't want my family to know about him!"
"Why would I lie? Sarah has a ntal breakdown as well because she lost the baby. You will be happy with your wife, but on top of Sarah's suffering," said Hans with a look of sadness in his eyes, but he imdiately turned away and chose to get into the car imdiately.
Ethan was silent with teary eyes. he rembered seeing Sarah's baby lying in the incubator, his tiny body imprinted on his mory so vividly.
'Is the baby dead? But I will love him like my own son. I'm sorry, Edward.' Ethan spoke in his heart, without realizing it, tears just fell.
"Patience," Richard said as he patted Ethan's shoulder.
Ethan took a deep breath and then exhaled. "Mommy will be very sad if she hears this news," he said later
"I'm not even sure the baby's dead," said Richard casually.
"You an Mr. Hans lied?" asked Ethan.
"Who knows." Richard shrugged his shoulders then leaned against the car beside him. "He could be lying because he's already so upset with you, especially since he's been hiding the baby from the start," he continued ambitiously.
"I hope he's still alive and one day I can see him again," Ethan said resignedly.
"I will investigate Mr. Hans, we don't even know where he lives, who knows the baby is still alive and living with him," said Richard.
"Then do it, he needs to be monitored, he will be here to visit Sarah, you can investigate by following him," Ethan exclaid with strategy in mind.
Richard nodded then thought of Luna. "How about your wife?" he asked then.
"She has been treated by a doctor, fortunately, the bullet only scratched her skin, although it was a bit deep, the bullet did not lodge," explained Ethan.
"Thankfully, at least it didn't have a fatal effect on her health," Richard said with relief.
Ethan rembered Jack who was ordered to take care of Luna since before the incident, he felt a little disappointed in him for not being careful in taking care of his wife until Sarah escaped his sight and hurt his wife.
"Where's Jack?" asked Ethan.
"Oh yeah, I forgot to ntion about him, he said he wanted to resign," explained Richard regretfully.
"Resign?" Ethan frowned, confirming what he just heard.
"He feels like he's failed his job, now he's going ho to pack," he continued sadly, hoping Ethan would stop him.
"Richard, I'm disappointed in him, but I'm not going to scold him or fire him, why did he just resign right away?" Ethan massaged his forehead because he was dizzy, today too many things happened unexpectedly.
"You'd better stop it, I wouldn't be excited about any of your errands without him either," cried Richard.
"You just ask him to go to the hospital, I'm waiting there. I'm worried about Luna, I want to take care of her." Ethan imdiately walked to his car without waiting for Richard's response.
