After the Eternal Darkness had abruptly arrived and left just the sa way, Dilan didn't end up feeling demotivated.
On the contrary, a heavy weight had been lifted off his heart. He could finally breathe properly, which made it possible for him to comprehend and execute his understanding of all techniques much better than before.
The following thousands of years showed clearly what a seemingly ordinary person could achieve with enough ti, determination, infinite effort and the right instructors.
Dilan dashed through the air, evading every single attack that was fired at him. He disappeared from everyone's sight, appeared behind the ginormous head of the Lightning Titan and he began to smile vibrantly as powerful crimson bolts of lightning shot out of his body.
He punched out and it was just a fraction of a second later that his fist smashed against the back of the Lightning Titan's head. The impact should have knocked out the Lightning Titan. Yet, instead of falling over, the Lightning Titan rely smiled as he released bolts of lightning from his own body.
Dilan exerted the Zephyr Step movent technique at once and he disappeared from his forr location in the blink of an eye. Reerging less than a hundred ters in front of the Lightning Titan, Dilan now held a large sword in his hand.
A grayish layer shrouded the blade that began to vibrate as Dilan began to exert the 72 Slashes of Destruction Sword Style.
Dilan's eyes were fully focused on the humongous body of the Lightning Titan. He took a deep breath and moved just when the Lightning Titan took his first step as well.
The Lightning Titan was agile despite his huge body and he smashed his fist down on Dilan without the slightest bit of rcy. He didn't hold back his strength to make Dilan realize the difference between a God and himself.
However, what happened at this mont stupefied everyone. Dilan did sothing he never dared to even try in the 10,000 years he had been inside the City of Trials.
He manifested the Destruction Domain in its smallest form while depriving his body of the vast majority of Lifeforce that was left within him. This was enough to conjure the Immortality Aura that engulfed Dilan's sword in an instant.
Cracks ford all over the longsword, and Dilan knew that he had to move rapidly. He forcefully combined two techniques he had learned by forcefully fusing the Immortality Aura with the conjured Destruction Layer.
But that was not everything because Dilan smashed the Power of the Destruction Domain onto the fused Immortality Aura, further reinforcing it.
A smile of utter ecstasy ford on Dilan's face as he realized that the plan he had woven in his head was working, and he burst toward the Lightning Titan, slashing him with the sa rcilessness he had received!
"73rd Slash of Destruction, Godkiller!" Dilan yelled, not without feeling a tinge of embarrassnt as he slashed the longsword in the Lightning Titan's direction. Calling out such a ridiculous na loudly was just too embarrassing.
A grayish-white crescent-shaped sword beam was unleashed the mont Dilan slashed out. The surrounding began to tremor, the buildings around Dilan collapsed and everything in a range of two ters around the sword beam was razed to the ground.
The paving stones and the soil below turned into atoms, and so did the purple lightning bolts that were released by the Lightning Titan.
The Lightning Titan's eyes widened and his body reacted instinctively to the sudden danger he perceived. His body enlarged and the restrictions that had been put on his body disappeared. The Lightning Titan grew in size and his skin turned crimson as he unleashed the crimson bolts of lightning from deep within.
He unleashed the hidden form of the Lightning God's Fist and the power of a True Titan God at the sa ti. It was no sooner than the Lightning Titan unleashed his powers that the Godkiller Sword beam cut into his leg.
Upon growing in size, the attack hit the Titan's leg instead of his fist, but the result was no less lethal. Blood splattered through the surrounding area and the Lightning Titan had to use a trendous amount of power and smash down on the Godkiller Sword Beam with his fists.
The Godkiller Sword Beam slowly lost its lethal powers but it took the Lightning Titan several seconds of his utmost efforts to fully destroy the attack to prevent losing a foot.
"What the hell…" He cursed loudly and everyone nodded their heads subconsciously agreeing to the Titan's words.
"Hmph, now I feel a little tired though. For the first ti in ten thousand years, I feel a little bit exhausted, haha. Looks like I won't be able to use this move for quite a while after leaving the City of Trials," Dilan said quite nonchalantly, just for everyone to keep staring at him.
"Since when…?"
Dilan turned around to the baffled voice and he smiled proudly when he saw the expressions on the Soul Shard's faces.
"What do you an?"
"Since when did you start recklessly combining our techniques?!?" The Destruction Sword Immortal almost shrieked.
Everyone was already baffled by Dilan's attack, but the Destruction Sword Immortal's sudden anger toppled everything.
They had never seen this human so angry; never!
"Eh…no idea? Probably a thousand years ago, or sothing like that. We're in the City of Trials either way. Furthermore, I cannot die one way or another. There is no problem for to tinker around a little bit, right?" Dilan remarked, not really feeling that there was anything wrong with his attempt to overcharge his attacks with the power of various techniques.
"You…don't even know what you're doing right there…." The Destruction Sword Immortal said, clenching his fist and gritting his teeth.
Dilan narrowed his eyes and looked at the Destruction Sword Immortal before his gaze flicked to the others to see if they knew what was going on.
"You tend to forget that we honed our techniques for hundreds of thousands of years. Imagine you teach soone for a few thousand years and they change your technique, mix it with soone else's technique and create an even stronger strike.
The Destruction Sword Immortal was a powerful God and his comprehension of the sword has always been fantastic! Nonetheless, he found himself in a slump after he created the 72nd Slash for his Sword Style…just for you to create…this," The Queen of Immortality pointed at the Lightning Titan's leg with a dazed look.
Blood was still oozing out of the Titan's injured leg, and realization dawned on Dilan when he figured out what he had just done.
'Did I just crush this Old Immortal's spirit? That's pretty ungrateful of , isn't it?'
Dilan's expression was distorted and he was trying to find words to make up for his ss.
However, even before he could do sothing to appease the Destruction Sword Immortal, he began to smile while tears trickled down his cheeks.
"I am not done yet…my journey is not yet over…hahahahha…that…is perfect!!!!"
'What the fuck…did he finally turn crazy?'
Dilan stared blankly at the exhilarated expression of the Destruction Sword Immortal's face, but it was no sooner that another big change occurred.
A golden gate manifested out of thin air and the Oracle erged in front of it.
"Dilan, the Undying, it's ti!!"
