The possibilities were endless.
Lu Ran, single-handedly, bravely faced the trapped passageway.
He entered the Dwarf Crypt unscathed, then summoned the Undead Army, leaving desolation in his wake!
He suddenly understood why the Natural Elf Queen Tina had such confidence in Lu Ran.
Even the level 100 Dark Elf Queen Sillor was willing to follow Lu Ran loyally.
Such a terrifying ability.
He must be the best of the Human Race!
But Lu Ran didn’t look as majestic as he seed on the outside.
At first, the stone walls attacked, and although Lu Ran didn’t lose health, it was a really unpleasant feeling.
He almost got crushed to the point of shitting himself!
Finally racing through that part, the passage sloped downward, delving deeper underground.
Lu Ran’s running speed increased.
The second wave ca, very conventional, matching Lu Ran’s expectations of an underground chanism.
Arrow barrage!
Lu Ran ran forward, braving the traps head-on.
He was literally covered from head to toe.
And the pain was unrelenting.
Lu Ran ran forward shouting and yelling.
Then.
There was fire spraying, chaotic blade traps, and freezing traps, one after another!
"Damn, these Dwarves are so good at building traps? So many types!" Lu Ran couldn’t help but mutter.
The entire experience was an intense contrast between hot and cold.
Eventually, Lu Ran beca numb to it all.
He just continued running blindly forward.
It’s unclear how long it took, but Lu Ran suddenly couldn’t stop and crashed into a wall.
Thud!
Lu Ran ca to his senses, turned around, and found that he could no longer see any light from the passage behind him.
He couldn’t be sure of the distance, but he understood the Dwarf King’s previous words; this Dwarf Crypt was deep due to years of excavation by the Hill Dwarves!
But they themselves were not expert diggers, the depth was achieved over countless years.
Digging from other directions on the side would be too challenging and not worth the effort!
Of course.
This was most likely just the requirents and rules of the quest storyline.
"Have the traps ended?" Lu Ran turned and looked around.
To the left was a stone wall, to the right was a tunnel entrance.
He seed to have passed the trapped passage.
Lu Ran stepped into the right tunnel, went several ters deep, and found no more traps, finally heaving a sigh of relief.
Then.
Ding!
[Quest Eternal Fire Continuation (3) Completed!]
[Reward Acquired: 80 million experience!]
[A new quest has been triggered, please check promptly!]
It was completed!
Lu Ran’s eyes lit up, thinking this wasn’t difficult after all.
Of course, it wasn’t difficult for Lu Ran, but for a normal Professional, it would be as arduous as climbing to the heavens!
[Level successfully increased to level 41!]
[Level successfully increased to level 42!]
At the sa ti.
Lu Ran’s level increased by two levels.
Drawing ever closer to level sixty.
Still eighteen levels away, but Lu Ran was already anticipating it.
From the current level 42 to level 60, Lu Ran could unlock four new skills and four new traits!
Each trait had incredibly excessive abilities; it’s hard to imagine how terrifying Lu Ran would beco at level sixty!
Skills themselves weren’t worth ntioning, but regular skills combined with Lu Ran’s traits often produced good effects.
What Lu Ran anticipated the most.
Was unlocking the Summon Abyss Bone Dragon skill at level 50!
As well as the Awakening Skill for the Undead Mage at level 60!
Sigh...
Lu Ran let out a breath, muttering: "Soon, I wonder if I’ll get the chance to reach level sixty before the national war."
After all, the national war was drawing nearer.
Then.
Lu Ran opened the quest panel to check the next quest.
[Quest: Eternal Fire Continuation (4)]
[Objective: Find the Eternal Fire and return it to the Dwarf King]
[Reward: One chance for Dwarf Furnace forging!]
As expected!
Lu Ran’s eyes brightened, Sillor’s judgnt was correct.
The final quest in this series is to return with the Eternal Fire, and the reward is a chance to forge!
Lu Ran clenched the Sea-stabilizing Trident in his hand.
Licking his lips.
"After forging the Sea-stabilizing Trident, I wonder how incredible it will beco."
After all.
It would be forged in the Dwarf Race’s Dwarf Furnace, a Sacred Artifact level item!
It was a bit of a pity though.
This was the last quest.
Lu Ran felt a bit disappointed because each stage of the small quests offered extrely generous rewards.
He was hoping for more waves of experience.
Yet, this was the last step.
The difficulty was indeed substantial.
"There shouldn’t be any more challenges in this Dwarf Crypt, right?" Lu Ran mused aloud.
The Dwarf Race had already left here.
There were no monsters here.
It’s just about finding the Eternal Fire.
Thinking thus, Lu Ran moved forward.
But soon he encountered a problem.
The damn Dwarf Crypt had no signposts!
From the mont he entered the Dwarf Crypt, the surrounding passages began to split, branching more and more, directions were varied, going down, up, like a spider web, extended in all directions!
Lu Ran had no directional signposts.
Although there were no monsters, no traps, nothing.
The entire place resembled a maze, making Lu Ran’s head spin in circles!
He even wished for so bosses to fight, and then give him the Eternal Fire; that would have been easier!
"Right, I can ask the Dwarf King!" Lu Ran suddenly slapped his forehead.
Although the Dwarf King couldn’t communicate.
He could contact the three presidents!
Thus.
He imdiately ssaged Liu Xinxin: "Xinxin, could you ask how to navigate this Dwarf Crypt? Where is the Eternal Fire?"
Liu Xinxin looked at the Dwarf King, relaying Lu Ran’s question.
But the Dwarf King only shook his head awkwardly.
He said: "Since dataization, the terrain has changed greatly, and the Dwarf Crypt has been expanded, the layout is different from before. The Eternal Fire is deep in the crypt, but I don’t know the route in its current state, finding it... is up to luck and ti."
Uh...
Liu Xinxin gave a helpless chuckle.
Returning the ssage to Lu Ran: "The Dwarf King said it’s up to fate."
Pfft~
Lu Ran almost coughed up blood.
Up to fate!
Darn, that ans it’s pure luck!
Lu Ran was already speechless from the trap passage, the Undead Mage to this day had no displacent skills or acceleration skills!
If he had acceleration skills or displacent skills, combined with Lu Ran’s No Cooldown skills, the trap passage wouldn’t have been as torturous.
Finding the Eternal Fire in the Dwarf Crypt would also have been faster.
But now, he could only forge ahead with determination!
Half an hour later.
Lu Ran wasn’t sure if his luck was good or bad.
He was out of breath, but finally, he saw a different kind of door at a corner.
The door was open, and the space inside was vast!
It seed as though a grand hall had been hollowed out underground.
Lu Ran’s eyes lit up, and he hurried inside.
Inside the grand hall, it was barren.
Beside wall after wall stood statues of many Dwarf Race warriors.
Two rows forward, quite majestic.
But Lu Ran paid no attention to these statues, his eyes fixated on a torch at the end of the hall, where a dark red fla flickered.
This was the only fla he had seen so far in this crypt.
"Could this be the Eternal Fire? It looks like a fart could snuff it out." Lu Ran muttered, stepping towards the torch.
anwhile, in a dungeon hall of a third-level main city.
Nanami stood there for quite so ti.
However, the leaderboard hadn’t changed yet.
She wasn’t worried.
Facing Yamata no Orochi’s urging, she calmly said: "No rush, he won’t always remain unknown, once there’s a change, I’ll find him and kill him!"
