Chapter 809: Chapter 873: Stubborn Young Aunt Chapter 809: Chapter 873: Stubborn Young Aunt Chapter Eight Hundred Seventy-Three
“Chun Ni’er!” Xu Chuntao sized up the young girl and excitedly called out, hurrying over to her.
Xu Chunni also stepped out from the main room.
The two embraced each other.
“Sis, how co you’re back today?” Xu Chunni looked up at Xu Chuntao.
Not having seen her for four years, if not for that sisterly psychic connection, she would hardly dare believe this was her own sister.
That noble and graceful aura, brimming with charm, almost made her feel ashad.
How could her sister have changed so much?
...
“Isn’t today the second day of the new year?
I ca back to visit my parent’s ho.
Chun Ni’er, let introduce soone to you,” Chuntao said, holding Chunni’s hand and bashfully walking over to Long Xiaoshan.
“Chun Ni’er, this is my man…”
Chuntao wrapped her arm around Long Xiaoshan’s, speaking with a mix of happiness and shyness.
Xu Chunni, seeing the tall and handso Long Xiaoshan, was startled for a mont.
Seeing her sister holding his arm, with the two standing together like a perfect match, it was clear how well-suited they were.
After a while, a shadow crossed her eyes as if she thought of sothing troubling.
She watched as Long Xiaoshan extended his hand to introduce himself.
“Hello, you must be Chunni, right?
My na is Long Xiaoshan.
I’ve heard a lot about you from your sister!”
Xu Chunni, however, did not extend her hand and instead turned away to speak with her mother.
Seeing Chunni ignoring Long Xiaoshan’s hand, Chuntao’s face paled slightly, and her smile stiffened sowhat.
Long Xiaoshan, however, did not mind.
Although he did not know why Xu Chunni was hostile towards him, how could he possibly quibble with a little girl?
He smiled, retracted his hand, and whispered in Chuntao’s ear, “Your little sister has quite a personality.”
“I’m sorry, Xiaoshan.
My, my sister has always been quite stubborn since she was little,” Xu Chuntao whispered in explanation.
“It’s all right.
How could I take it to heart with your little sister?
But there is sothing I should remind you of—her heart may still have issues,” Long Xiaoshan said.
“What?
How could that be, the surgery was said to have been successful.” Chuntao’s face imdiately grew anxious.
She knew of Long Xiaoshan’s exceptional dical skills.
“It might be a relapse.
Don’t worry, I’ll treat her later.
It’s not a big issue,” Long Xiaoshan reassured.
“Thank you, husband.” Chuntao clung tightly to Long Xiaoshan’s arm, feeling reassured by his words.
“Being formal with …”
Long Xiaoshan was whispering in Chuntao’s ear.
“Don’t touch !”
Suddenly, a loud shout interrupted the two of them.
The couple lifted their heads and saw Xu Chunni and Zhu Dafu tussling with each other.
Zhu Dafu’s expression was turning ugly, and with a glare, he said, “Today we’re getting engaged, and you’re Zhu Dafu’s wife.
What’s wrong with hugging you?”
Xu Chunni said, “Who’s your wife?
Even if we’re engaged, I’m still your fiancée.
We agreed that you’re not allowed to touch before we’re married.”
“What rubbish about fiancées?
Once engaged, you’re Zhu Dafu’s wife.
Get over here!
Didn’t I tell you to wear the clothes I bought?
Why aren’t you wearing them?
On our engagent day, you’re still in these ragged clothes; are you trying to embarrass ?” Zhu Dafu, a locally renowned figure who owned a sand quarry, felt his pride wounded when he had tried to embrace Xu Chunni earlier and was refused.
Zhu Dafu forcefully gripped Xu Chunni and pulled her into his embrace.
Xu Chunni could not break free, and her palm swung out.
Slap!
Zhu Dafu got struck across the face.
The flesh on his face trembled violently, and his eyes reddened.
Zhu Dafu was a man of influence in Hongwu Township; even the village head treated him with deference.
Yet today, his face was shafully slapped by a woman right in front of everyone.
“A shaless woman who doesn’t know when she’s given face, daring to strike !”
Zhu Dafu raised his hand high and was about to bring it down hard on Xu Chunni’s face.
Xu Chunni held her head high, staring as Zhu Dafu’s hand ca swiping down, her lips tightly sealed, not even attempting to dodge.
Smack!
However, Zhu Dafu’s palm did not make contact with her face, as it was caught by a hand as pale and smooth as jade.
Zhu Dafu, with a face full of coarse flesh, was a big man, standing at 1.8 ters tall and weighing over 200 pounds.
His hand was like a giant fan, but now it was immobilized in the grasp of that pale hand.
He turned his head to find Long Xiaoshan standing there.
Although Long Xiaoshan was dressed like a wealthy man and had an extraordinary air about him, Zhu Dafu was not intimidated.
Zhu Dafu had earned his own way by digging and selling sand and soil, and with the Zhu Family Brothers – all five of them being very influential, he himself was a despot in Hongwu Township.
As the saying goes, even a mighty dragon cannot crush a local snake.
After all, this was just a pampered rich kid.
Zhu Dafu was not the least bit scared as he glared and commanded, “Let go of my hand.”
Long Xiaoshan replied, “Let’s talk this over nicely, hitting a woman isn’t right.”
“You motherfucker, I’m disciplining my own woman, none of your damn business!” Zhu Dafu struggled forcefully a few more tis but couldn’t break free.
“She’s my aunt-in-law.
You tell if that’s my business.
As for you, you haven’t even drunk the engagent wine, so when did my aunt-in-law beco your woman?” Long Xiaoshan replied with a faint smile.
Seeing that he couldn’t break free, Zhu Dafu released the hand holding Xu Chunni and threw a punch toward Long Xiaoshan’s head.
Long Xiaoshan dodged slightly to the side, squeezed Zhu Dafu’s hand with force and Zhu Dafu let out a squeal like a slaughtering pig, the pain bringing him down on his knees.
“Big Brother Dafu!”
Two young n rushed out of the crowd.
They were Zhu Dafu’s relatives and right-hand n who had co along with him.
The two young n were bulging with muscles, their skin darkened, looking very sturdy.
Upon seeing Zhu Dafu being bested by Long Xiaoshan, they charged over, full of aggressive montum.
Both were adept at fighting, one aiming for the head and the other targeting the legs, working in perfect coordination.
“Be careful”.
Xu Chunni, watching the two n approach with their fierce moves, cried out in alarm.
Long Xiaoshan’s delicate skin would suffer greatly if struck by those kicks.
With a quick grab, Long Xiaoshan lifted Zhu Dafu’s 200-plus pound fra as it floated up like paper, using him as a shield.
Those two kicks landed squarely on Zhu Dafu instead, nearly knocking him out cold.
The two young n stood dazed for just a mont, and then Long Xiaoshan had already hurled Zhu Dafu at them.
The three of them collided and tumbled to the ground together.
The fall left all three of them barely able to breathe.
Long Xiaoshan could tell there must be a backstory to Xu Chunni marrying Zhu Dafu, given her behavior earlier.
And it was obvious Zhu Dafu was a disaster; to strike a woman in public was nothing for him.
Although Xu Chunni had been quite impolite to him before, she was, after all, Chun Tao’s sister and his aunt-in-law, so he could not just stand by and watch her fall into this trap.
He walked over and glared at Zhu Dafu, “Do you want to leave by yourself, or should I make you leave?”
Zhu Dafu, having fallen hard and feeling as if his bones were coming apart, snarled from the ground, “This isn’t over, you little bastard.”
Long Xiaoshan wasted no words, instead, he grabbed Zhu Dafu and threw him out, along with the two henchn of Zhu Dafu, each receiving a kick from him out the door.
