Chapter Seventy-Six
"Thank you, Immortal." Wang Feng was even more overjoyed when he heard that Long Xiaoshan was willing to help.
He knew that Long Xiaoshan was not an ordinary person but a true marvel.
Moreover, many things were not sothing he, as a ghost, could accomplish on his own.
With Long Xiaoshan’s assistance, his odds of success were much greater.
"You should stop calling Immortal, just call Xiaoshan," Long Xiaoshan said, becoming more acquainted with the Wang family.
Wang Feng hesitated a mont before replying, "Yes, Xiaoshan."
"Tell , let’s discuss this. Explain your situation to ," Long Xiaoshan said.
Wang Feng and Liu Yufeng each began to recount their story...
Approximately three years ago, Wang Feng suddenly received a large and urgently tid order from the provincial city. As a result, he had to rush out overnight. On the national highway late at night, he was intercepted by two vans, and a group of masked individuals bound him and took him to a remote mountain area, where they killed and buried him.
After Wang Feng’s disappearance, Liu Yufeng began to take over the company.
It must be said that Liu Yufeng was also a strong woman, and since the company was originally founded by both of them, she managed to uphold the company even without Wang Feng, preventing it from falling into others’ hands.
However, six months after Wang Feng’s disappearance, Liu Yufeng also encountered a car accident.
She didn’t die, but was completely paralyzed.
After Liu Yufeng was paralyzed, she could no longer control the company’s affairs.
Wang Yan was still too young after all.
At that ti, Liu Yufeng could only hand over the company to the general manager, Feng Hailong. Feng Hailong had been a classmate of Wang Feng’s and had joined the company early on, eventually working his way up to the position of general manager.
Wang Feng and his wife had trusted him greatly, so when Liu Yufeng beca paralyzed and had to seek treatnt in various places, the Beacon Fire Company was handed over to Feng Hailong.
But unexpectedly,
after more than a year, when Liu Yufeng returned from an unsuccessful treatnt abroad,
the Beacon Fire Company had already completely fallen under the control of Feng Hailong. Moreover, even the shareholding structure had undergone significant changes; through several dilutions and the introduction of huge amounts of capital, the Wang Family’s shareholding plumted from 80% to 20%.
Only then was Liu Yufeng certain she had been deceived by Feng Hailong.
But what could she do as a paralyzed person? She could only barely maintain the remaining shares through Wang Yan’s efforts.
They even mortgaged their villa to raise funds.
However, because they had long lost control of the company and their shareholding was weakened to such a small amount, Liu Yufeng and her daughter had absolutely no way of fighting Feng Hailong, and they had to feign civility.
Even so,
the Feng family still didn’t give up on their plans. Feng Hailong continuously tried to matchmake his son, Feng Bo, with Wang Yan, who also repeatedly harassed Wang Yan.
After listening, Long Xiaoshan furrowed his brow and said, "It seems quite clear that there is sothing wrong with this Feng Hailong."
"I never thought it would be him. I always suspected my business competitors were behind this, but I never expected him. How down and out he was at the ti, seeking refuge with . I took him in, even gave him shares, making him the third largest shareholder of the company. How did I ever wrong him?" Wang Feng roared angrily, his eyes blood-red, as gusts of cold wind began to rage about the room.
This caused Liu Yufeng and Wang Yan to show a trace of fear.
"Wang Feng, calm down," Long Xiaoshan commanded.
He placed his hand on Liu Yufeng and her daughter, channeling a stream of True Qi.
Seeing the pale faces of his wife and daughter, Wang Feng quickly reined in his fierce energy, saying, "I’m sorry, I was too impulsive."
Long Xiaoshan looked at the sky and said, "Tonight, we will take action. You can also move about outside at night. Let’s go find that Feng Hailong."
Wang Feng nodded repeatedly.
At this ti, Liu Yufeng said, "I’ve heard Feng Hailong is connected with the underworld, so you all should be careful."
Long Xiaoshan smiled faintly, "It’s okay, Aunt Liu."
He then took out two Vajra Talismans and handed them to Liu Yufeng and Wang Yan, saying, "Here, I’m giving you two talismans for protection, to prevent you from being hard by others."
Wang Yan received the talismans, turned them over to look, and laughed, "Big Brother Long, you’re so superstitious, to actually use talismans..."
"Little Yan, don’t be rude." Liu Yufeng reverently stored away the talismans.
Although she was unclear about what abilities Long Xiaoshan possessed, given his astonishing dical skills and the ability to exorcise ghosts, such a remarkable person’s offerings could hardly be re superstitious trinkets.
"Little Yan, later Mom will sew a scent pouch for you to put the talisman in and hang it up," Liu Yufeng said.
"Yes, Mommy," Wang Yan said, drawing out the word.
Ti passed, and soon it was late at night.
Long Xiaoshan and Wang Feng set off. Wang Feng was still hidden inside the Soul-Nurturing Wooden Talisman, while Long Xiaoshan, dressed in black, took a taxi to Jiangbei Road.
The address of Feng Hailong’s ho had already been investigated. It was here, in a luxurious villa, equipped with security personnel and nurous surveillance caras at the entrance.
But for Long Xiaoshan, this was not a problem. Among the talismans he had prepared was an Invisibility Talisman, which could temporarily render him invisible.
Long Xiaoshan took out a talisman and slapped it onto his body.
His body gradually beca blurry, and then when he raised his hand, he found it was completely invisible in the darkness, only perceivable by touch.
"This is truly a great item," he muttered.
Long Xiaoshan curiously walked through the darkness, even passing right in front of a security guard, who was completely unaware of Long Xiaoshan’s presence.
With the help of the Invisibility Talisman, Long Xiaoshan easily infiltrated Feng Hailong’s ho.
Employing his Spirit Eye, he peered through the walls and saw on the second floor, Feng Boo, the tall youth he had encountered outside of Beacon Fire Company. Feng Boo was sleeping with two won in his arms – indeed, the boy was quite indulgent. On the one hand, he was talking about dating Wang Yan; on the other, he was engaging in threesos. The boy was still in high school, yet his excessive desires had already turned his complexion pale, showing signs of kidney deficiency. It’s likely by thirty he’d be spent.
Long Xiaoshan glanced briefly and then averted his gaze.
He moved to another side of the villa, to the third floor, and saw him!
A middle-aged man, who bore so resemblance to Feng Boo, was lying asleep in the bed.
Having seen photographs before, Long Xiaoshan recognized this man as Feng Hailong.
From outside, he noticed that the villa had so feng shui defenses, such as a mirror above the entrance and stone lions at the door.
These were all items used to suppress ghosts and evil spirits.
In Long Xiaoshan’s Spirit Eye, these items ford a canopy of sorts.
If Wang Feng had co by himself, he truly wouldn’t have been able to enter.
Of course, this wasn’t a problem for Long Xiaoshan.
He used so stones and branches to arrange around the periter of the villa, breaking through its feng shui defenses.
Next, Long Xiaoshan climbed up the water pipes, entering the third floor through a window.
There was a woman lying next to Feng Hailong; Long Xiaoshan was not sure if she was his wife, but with a flick of his finger, he caused her to fall into a deep sleep.
Then he brought out the Soul-Nourishing Wood, and a ghostly figure floated out.
"Wang Feng, from here on, it’s up to you," Long Xiaoshan said.
"Alright." Wang Feng glared at the man on the bed with clenched teeth.
Wuu wuu~~
A chilling wind began to blow, and Wang Feng revealed his terrifying appearance from before his death, covered in blood, and lunged at Feng Hailong.
