After the plane landed,
Long Xiaoshan originally didn't plan to stay in the Serpent Witch Sect, but Lan Wan'er ntioned that the Serpent Witch Sect in Myanmar had gathered quite a few treasures.
She urged him not to pass up the opportunity.
Long Xiaoshan thought it made sense; since he was already there, he might as well stop being polite with the Serpent Witch Sect.
After all, the Snake Spirit Zunzhe had died, and most of the sect's experts had perished as well. The only one left was Gedanwei, who was under Lan Wan'er's control through the Gu insects. To put it plainly, even if he wanted to take over the Serpent Witch Sect, it would've been easy, but Myanmar was located too remotely for him to be interested in controlling the sect.

However, a large crowd of Serpent Witch Sect mbers waited respectfully only to see two n and two won descend from the plane.
They of course recognized Gedanwei, the Young Master, and also Lan Wan'er, the new Bug-Poison Master. As for the other two, they were unfamiliar.
After waiting for quite so ti, they only saw these four people co down, with Gedanwei following submissively behind the three.
An old Sorcerer from the Serpent Witch Sect stepped forward and said, "Young Master, where is the Sect Hierarch? And the others? Why haven't they co down?"
This old Sorcerer was an elder of the Serpent Witch Sect, who stayed behind because of his age; he did not go to Death God Valley, but rather stayed at the sect's main camp.
Gedanwei stepped forward and said somberly, "Respected Master Maoqin, my father and everyone else have all died in Death God Valley."
"What, they're all dead! How could that be!" The old Sorcerer's face changed color.
The faces of the other Serpent Witch Sect disciples also turned pale.
For the expedition to Death God Valley, the Snake Spirit Zunzhe had taken eighty percent of the sect's top experts. The Snake Spirit Zunzhe was the pillar of the Serpent Witch Sect. But now, Gedanwei was bringing back such devastating news. With so many experts dead in Death God Valley, the Serpent Witch Sect seed likely to collapse.
"Impossible, are you lying to ? With so many dead, how did you survive? And who are they?" the old Sorcerer bluntly interrogated.
He was a seasoned elder of the Serpent Witch Sect, even older than the Snake Spirit Zunzhe, and held a long-established position within the sect.
Even when addressing Gedanwei, the Young Master, he didn't need to be overly polite.
Sorcerers value strength above all.
With such a significant event occurring within the Serpent Witch Sect, there had to be more to the story that needed exploring. If the death of the Snake Spirit Zunzhe was confird, he would be the only remaining elder in the sect.
"Respected Master Maoqin, why would I deceive you? A mishap happened in Death God Valley. Not only did my father die, but so did the Blood Spirit King and many experts from the Southern Ocean. Less than ten people managed to walk out of Death God Valley from all those forces combined."
"The Blood Spirit King is dead too, and so many experts?"
Respected Master Maoqin sucked in a breath of cold air.
The Blood Spirit King was one of the most troubleso figures in the Southern Ocean, practicing the near-invincible Blood Transformation Technique.
If he had died, it ant that the death of the Snake Spirit Zunzhe was almost certain.
Otherwise, it would be impossible for this plane to return with just Gedanwei.
Respected Master Maoqin's eyes glead erratically. With the Snake Spirit Zunzhe and other elders gone, he was now definitely the top expert within the sect. With the Snake Spirit Zunzhe dead and the sect headless, Respected Master Maoqin looked coldly at Gedanwei.
This so-called Young Master was without a doubt useless; he had even let his own pet beast be killed not so long ago.
If it weren't for the Snake Spirit Zunzhe, what would Gedanwei amount to?
Respected Master Maoqin looked at the three people standing next to Gedanwei. The other two were strangers to him. The Bug-Poison Master Lan Wan'er might pose so threat, but he was not worried. The other two looked to be about the sa age as Lan Wan'er.
