Only at the reception desk was there a middle-aged man in a suit and with slicked-back hair, flirting and laughing with the receptionist, drawing sideways glances from everyone in the hall.

The receptionist was a woman with heavy makeup and fairly pretty looks, but the smile on her face seed insincere.

The middle-aged man had a chubby face with beady eyes the size of soybeans. Holding a briefcase, he leered at the receptionist with a lustful expression.

The receptionist nad Little Lan glared at Director Zheng coyly, a look which did not anger him but rather tickled his heart as if scratched by a cat.
"Director Zheng, I'm telling you, I've had enough of being a receptionist, earning the least and forcing a smile every day. You'd better hurry up and transfer
to your HR departnt! This way, we'll get to be together more often!"
Little Lan said while looking at Director Zheng with a look of longing.
Director Zheng's chubby face broke into a sinister smile as he slapped his chest and said,
"Don't worry! There's a vacancy in HR right now, I'll transfer you over in the next few days!"
As he spoke, Director Zheng took advantage of no one paying attention and whispered,
