The charming beauty, nad Jiang Ying, felt nothing but deep gratitude for Ye Feng after sorting everything out.

"Thank you..."

Jiang Ying's pretty face was flushed red like blood; she lowered her head, not daring to look into Ye Feng's eyes.

This was her first ti being alone with a man in the dead of night, making her extrely shy!

Ye Feng's mouth curved in a hint of playful amusent as he shrugged and said,

"Don't ntion it! Well, since you're fine now, get so rest early! Your clothes, I've washed them, by daybreak they should be almost dry!"

Having said that, Ye Feng turned and left the bedroom.

Watching him leave, Jiang Ying couldn't help but feel stunned. She hadn't expected that Ye Feng, even in a situation where they were alone and practically stark naked, could remain so calm and nonchalant, as if he harbored no improper thoughts about her at all.

Especially considering that Ye Feng was only wrapped in a bath towel around his lower body, exposing his robust upper body. His figure might have been sowhat lean, but every muscle was well-defined, his bronze skin radiated a bursting aesthetic of strength.

Besides that, the blood-red maple leaf tattoo on Ye Feng's shoulder was particularly striking, as if a real maple leaf had been branded there.

It wasn't until Ye Feng had completely left the bedroom and closed the door that a hint of loss flashed through Jiang Ying's heart.

"Could it be that I no longer have any appeal?"

Jiang Ying had absolute confidence in her looks and figure, but now she felt sowhat shaken in front of Ye Feng.

"What am I thinking! I've only just t him!"

At this thought, Jiang Ying's pretty face blushed again, and she hurriedly lay down on the bed, covering her head with the blanket.

After Ye Feng arrived in the living room, instead of resting on the sofa, he went to the balcony and sat down cross-legged.

The balcony was encased in tempered glass, and Ye Feng opened the window now, allowing gusts of damp, cool breeze to blow in.

The blood-red tattoo of a maple leaf had been on his back since he was a child, probably marked at birth. After being adopted by Li Qingshan, he was nad Ye Feng after the tattoo.

At this mont, he flipped his palm and took out an iron box—it was a keepsake left to him by Li Qingshan.

Inside the box was an extrely worn, thread-bound book with pages that had yellowed, showing it had been preserved for a long ti.

"This Naless Technique, I've cultivated it to the peak of the Sixth Layer! Now I should be able to cultivate the Seventh Layer!"

Ye Feng opened the book, which was filled with various humanoid figures, each sitting cross-legged and forming strange hand seals, resembling those used in Zen ditation.

The peculiar energy inside Ye Feng had been obtained through the cultivation of this Naless Technique.

The Naless Technique was sothing Li Qingshan stumbled upon during a trip fifteen years ago. Regrettably, by that ti Li Qingshan was approaching middle age, and his ridians were fully established, making it impossible for him to cultivate it. Otherwise, he would not have t with such an early death.

Ye Feng now quietly contemplated a page, his brows occasionally furrowing, then smoothing out. After a long while, he put the book away and ford a strange seal with his hand, beginning his cultivation.

anwhile, Jiang Ying in the bedroom had already fallen into a deep sleep. For so reason, she felt extrely comfortable this night, her entire body warm and cozy.

When she awoke and opened her eyes, it was already bright daylight.

After getting out of bed, Jiang Ying first went to the washroom, but she noticed that Ye Feng's clothes were no longer there.

"Has he left?"

Jiang Ying then went to the living room but still did not see Ye Feng. For reasons unknown, a sense of loss welled up in her heart.

"Even though it was a fleeting encounter, I haven't properly thanked him!"

A tinge of bitterness appeared on Jiang Ying's pretty face, and she felt sowhat uneasy.

Just as Jiang Ying was lost in her wild thoughts, the door to the living room burst open, and a figure stepped in.

"You're awake! Have sothing to eat!"

Ye Feng, holding so breakfast items in his hand, smiled at Jiang Ying and said,

"So you didn't leave!" Jiang Ying, seeing Ye Feng co in, her pretty face flashed with a hint of joy. Seeing the breakfast in his hands, her heart felt an unusual warmth.

"Ahem! That... you should put on your clothes first!" Ye Feng's expression was a bit awkward, a wry smile on his face.

Ah!

Jiang Ying then realized she had run out without her clothes, her pretty face instantly flushed with red. Especially when she noticed Ye Feng's gaze scanning her body, she spat out in disdain and hurriedly ran into the bedroom and closed the door.

"Pervert!"

Ye Feng touched his nose, chuckled playfully, and didn't take it to heart.

Jiang Ying quickly got dressed and washed up. But when she ca out again, the blush on her pretty face had not faded.

The two of them quickly finished breakfast and walked out of the room together, ready to leave.

Just as they had just closed the door, a surprised voice rang out.

"Jiang Ying!"

Upon hearing this voice, Jiang Ying first furrowed her brow, then turned around to look, her eyes reflecting a deep disdain.

Ye Feng, noticing the change in Jiang Ying's expression, also turned to look.

"Jiang Ying! It really is you!!!"

Two figures were seen walking quickly towards them. The young man speaking was handso, and upon seeing Jiang Ying, his face first showed confusion, then astonishnt, followed by intense anger.

As if he had seen sothing unforgivable!

"Jiang Ying! You... you actually ca to a hotel with so random man!!!" The young man's face twisted, his eyes nearly shooting flas, glaring at Jiang Ying and Ye Feng as if wishing he could devour them alive.

However, Jiang Ying's expression remained calm, her body exuding a noble and cold allure, she indifferently said to the young man,

"Zhang Xuebing, we have broken up! Whom I go to a hotel with is none of your business, right?"

While saying this, Jiang Ying's gaze swept past the woman beside Zhang Xuebing:

"Aren't you here to stay at a hotel as well? If I'm not mistaken, this lady should be your friend's woman!"

Hearing this, Zhang Xuebing then realized his oversight. The mont he saw Jiang Ying here, he had lost his rationality to anger and charged over without thinking, but now he was left speechless by Jiang Ying's retort.

Beside Zhang Xuebing stood a woman with heavy makeup. Though fairly pretty, she was worlds apart compared to Jiang Ying.

When this woman realized Jiang Ying had recognized her, she averted her gaze, but upon seeing Zhang Xuebing, she regained her composure:

"Bro Xuebing! Your ex-girlfriend is beautiful, but her tastes are really poor. To think she'd pick a country bumpkin to co to a hotel with!"

The woman's face was full of mockery, and upon seeing Ye Feng's tattered T-shirt, she looked at him with utter disdain.

Her words, however, reminded Zhang Xuebing, who turned his gaze to Ye Feng. Seeing his outfit, Zhang Xuebing's face instantly contorted:

"Jiang Ying! You... you are sothing! I dated you for two months, and you wouldn't even let

touch your hand! And now you're in a hotel with a country bumpkin, you're fucking cheap!"

Zhang Xuebing grew angrier the more he thought about it. He had pursued Jiang Ying for three years, and finally, with his parents' help, he got a chance, but during the short two months they dated, he didn't even get to hold her hand. To call it dating was worse than ordinary friends.

And now, the goddess he'd dreamt of was sleeping with a country bumpkin!

This sense of humiliation nearly drove Zhang Xuebing mad:

"Look at him! This guy dresses worse than a beggar, what's so good about him? Sleeping with him is worse than sleeping with a dog! He's not even as good as a dog!"

Zhang Xuebing pointed at Ye Feng, wishing he could crush him to death!
