Ye Feng and Zhang Zihan locked eyes for a brief mont, then the forr imdiately pulled the latter into his embrace, and the two quietly nestled together.
"Ye Feng, you've been exhausted lately, haven't you?" Zhang Zihan said softly.
"It's alright."
Ye Feng responded casually, then bowed his head to kiss Zhang Zihan.
The two, like dry wood and fire in the scorching sumr, sparked into flas the mont they touched, and just as they were about to deepen their connection, a voice ca from outside the door.
"Zihan, breakfast is ready."
When this voice ca from outside, Ye Feng and Zhang Zihan paid no heed to it, nor did they take it to heart, continuing with what they were doing at the mont.
After the voice rang out, the door was pushed open, and a head poked in.
The person who intruded wasn't just anyone but Black Widow.
When she saw Ye Feng and Zhang Zihan greedily savoring each other, her heart ablaze, she imdiately stepped in.
In an instant, the three intertwined.
A beautiful, thrilling battle comnced.
After more than an hour, having just finished breakfast, Ye Feng was set to return to Lion Peak for cultivation, but just then, a gleam flashed through his heart.
As the gleam flashed past, Ye Feng's eyes scanned the ground below, the gleam pinpointing the signal coming from the red-potential believer he was seeking.
This brought joy to Ye Feng's heart, prompting him to swiftly head toward the location indicated by the gleam.
A few minutes later, following the gleam's guidance, Ye Feng found himself at a relatively impoverished village, surrounded by several rough paths.
These paths were essential routes leading to surrounding peaks.
After glancing at the paths nearby, Ye Feng sensed a presence and located the place of the potential believer.
At this mont, a boy about ten-years-old was deep in a mountain, scythe in hand, searching for sothing.
The boy's face was full of urgency; his every move quite skilled, surely as a result of having done this countless tis.
After a long search yielding no result, disappointnt washed over the boy's face; just as he was about to move to another spot, a gleam appeared in his eyes.
Quickly turning his body, he caught sight of a green herb ahead. In a hurry, he ran over to the herb, but before he could bend down and place the herb in the dicine Basket behind him.
Dense footsteps echoed from behind the boy.
As the footsteps spread, a teasing voice resonated.
"Hey Xiang Qun, we've been looking for you all morning. Thought you got eaten by a wild wolf but here you are hiding. Made us search high and low! How are you going to make it up to us for wasting our morning?"
The voice had barely fallen when the speaker appeared behind Xiang Qun; Xiang Qun shuffled, blocking the area where the herb was located with his foot.
Nervously turning around, Xiang Qun looked at the approaching person.
Three people approached, all having grown up with Xiang Qun, with ages not far from his own.
Physique-wise, they were taller and bigger than Xiang Qun.
Compared to Xiang Qun, the two were on completely different levels.
Normally, those who grew up together rarely have relationships that deteriorate beyond repair.
But Xiang Qun and these individuals were evidently more strangers or adversaries.
The root lies in Xiang Qun's parents' affairs; when Xiang Qun's family was whole, he got along quite well with peers in the village. However, after his father passed away, relationships worsened progressively.
In fact, Xiang Qun was often bullied; raised solely by his mother, he disliked being bullied but had little choice but to endure.
"Xiang Shan, how did you find
here?" Xiang Qun asked coldly, looking at the one who initially spoke.
"Hmph, I got bored and ca here, found you're perfect for killing ti," Xiang Shan replied coolly.
As Xiang Shan spoke, he and the other two companions moved toward Xiang Qun; seeing them approach quickly, anxiety gripped Xiang Qun, making him step back a few paces.
This retreat inadvertently trampled the herb to the ground.
The crushed herb was entirely ignored by Xiang Shan and the others; had they seen the herb, it'd likely be destroyed instantly.
This was a prospect Xiang Qun hoped to avoid, as his mother was waiting for this herb for healing.
Seeing Xiang Qun continuously retreat, Xiang Shan harshly commanded, "Stop, if you dare retreat once more, you'll regret it for life."
These words were quite ruthless, making Xiang Qun stand there quietly because he knew Xiang Shan would certainly follow through if he uttered such words.
"That's better." As Xiang Qun obediently stopped, Xiang Shan smiled, "Co, let's give this guy a good stretch."
"Alright."
"Been itching to practice my punches. Perfect target," said the other two adolescents excitedly, upon hearing Xiang Shan's words, whilst rubbing their hands.
The three raised their hands simultaneously, clenching their fingers into fists, and as soon as three slightly immature fists ford, they swung at Xiang Qun.
As Xiang Qun watched the incoming fists, he dared not move, rely standing still.
With a few thuds, the fists all landed on Xiang Qun.
The force of these punches caused Xiang Qun to tumble backward rapidly, losing his balance and falling to the ground.
Seeing Xiang Qun fall helplessly, Xiang Shan and the others laughed heartily, proudly looking at Xiang Qun.
"Xiang Qun, you are so pathetically weak. Today you're lucky. I'm in a good mood, so I won't play with you. Hmph, next ti, I'll play with you thoroughly," Xiang Shan said grimly.
After uttering these words, Xiang Shan turned without a look back, heading down the mountain, with the other two following closely behind like henchn.
Watching Xiang Shan and his companions leave, Xiang Qun buried his head against his legs and began to cry.
