After thinking for a while, Ye Feng didn't linger at all; his figure flickered, and once again he arrived in a secluded forest in Lion Mountain.

Presumably, no one would disturb his fusion of the colorful energy here.

While fusing the massive energy within his body, he fully expanded his Divine Sense, covering the entire Divine Domain, observing everything within it.

The previous fusion had already reached its most crucial point; now, Ye Feng proceeded to rge again, doing it with great skill.

The whole fusion process was remarkably smooth.

Under Ye Feng's observation, a familiar figure reappeared in his sight.

This person was the most devout old woman Ye Feng had seen before.

"Child, don't worry, Bodhisattva has revealed Himself; with His protection, you will definitely be fine,"

The old woman said with a beaming smile, and behind her was her son, following in her footsteps.

The middle-aged man was wrapped in many bandages but moved with no hindrance, clearly not seriously injured.

Upon hearing the old woman's words, his gaze filled with disdain, scoffing at what she said.

But for a mont, he didn't know how to refute her and could only turn his head aside.

"Stop saying that, I've heard you say it eight hundred tis; my ears are growing calluses from it."

The middle-aged man seed a bit impatient.

"You better not say that; saying such things is blasphemy; be careful, or lightning might strike you."

Upon hearing the old woman say this, the middle-aged man's face imdiately changed.

Thinking of the feeling of being struck by lightning that day, he showed a look of terror.

"Alright, stop talking; I believe, I believe the Bodhisattva Guanyin will protect ."

Actually, he still had so hesitation in his heart, but at this point, even if you didn't want to believe, you had to.

Suddenly, five or six n rushed into his room, and he was imdiately flustered.

Why did they co so early?

"Bro, how co you guys are here?"

The man slowly regained his composure from his initial panic.

The n who ca in were noticeably younger than the middle-aged man.

But at that mont, the middle-aged man displayed utter respect, continuously calling them "brother."

Seeing the n suddenly rush in, the old woman's eyes were filled with questions.

But seeing her son like this, she imdiately understood what had happened.

Sighing silently to herself, the old woman was occasionally helpless about her son.

However, she didn't have the slightest worry due to her inner reliance.

"Stop pretending; when will you pay back what you owe?"

"It's just that I'm a bit tight on cash these days. Give

a couple more days."

The man, with a flattering look, bowed his head in supplication.

"A couple more days? You said the sa last ti, and now again. Do you an to delay until we starve?"

The gang leader said viciously to the middle-aged man.

"I had money, but I accidentally got injured, so I ran out of money. If I had it, why wouldn't I pay?"

The middle-aged man spoke while showing his injuries to the group.

"Injured? Spent money? And no money now, right?"

The gang leader, eyeing the middle-aged man, glared more fiercely.

"I don't care; just say whether you can pay today." Upon hearing this from the gang leader, the middle-aged

man appeared troubled, standing where he was, stamring without forming a sentence.

Witnessing this, the gang mbers understood.

"If you can't pay, let's take a little interest then. Get him!"

Realizing the unfavorable situation, the middle-aged man ran out of the room instantly, with the gang mbers following him outside.

The middle-aged man, already injured, though not severely, was certainly no match for the young gang mbers.

In no ti, the middle-aged man was caught and beaten by punches and kicks.

The old woman then slowly ca out and stood by the gang mbers.

"Don't hit, don't hit. Let's talk this out peacefully."

Seeing her child being beaten, she was extrely anxious and went up to pull them apart.

"Old lady, mind your own business!"

A gang mber grew impatient as she pulled him and pushed the old woman aside. She fell sitting on the ground.

"You'll face divine retribution for what you're doing."

Seeing what was happening, she was at a loss on how to resolve the situation.

"Divine retribution? And what then? Will it make him pay back my money?"

He retorted while continuing his assault.

The old woman was powerless.

She slowly knelt, folded her hands, and, with a face full of devotion, muttered her request for Guanyin's assistance.

"At a ti like this, you still seek Guanyin's help? Do you think Guanyin is yours, helping whenever you ask?"

The man, seeing his mother persisting, felt helpless.

But even though he spoke like that, he inwardly hoped as well.

"Pleading to the Bodhisattva Guanyin, even if you plead to God himself, it's no use."

The gang mbers intensified their beating on the middle-aged man, who kept rolling on the ground, crying and begging for rcy.

But the old woman seed oblivious to it all, solely focused on praying to Guanyin.

Pleading to the Bodhisattva Guanyin was her fallback.

anwhile, the villagers gathered around once more, watching everything unfold.

They were silent, unwilling to step forward and assist.

No one in the area dared to provoke the gang mbers.

"Old woman, have you lost your mind? Your son's nearly beaten to death, and you persist in praying to Guanyin?"

The gang mbers paused their assault, quietly observing the old woman's constant kneeling.

They relentlessly mocked her, seeing her desperate anxiety for her son as madness.

Clearly, her son was repeatedly beaten beside her, yet she continued bowing to Guanyin.

"Keep praying; look at you, not serious at all about praying to Guanyin, hurry up and kowtow."

The old woman ignored their interference.

Keeping her eyes closed, she pressed her palms together, fervently voicing her wishes.

After conveying her desires silently, she slowly opened her hands, bowing deeply.

"Look, she's actually..."

"Boom!" A bright light suddenly flashed across the sky. A trendous thunderous roar echoed through the sky.
