Lion Mountain is a famous mountain known by many in the area, and the Guanyin Temple on Lion Mountain attracts nurous tourists daily for pilgrimage.

Not long after, Ye Feng and Li Xian arrived at the foot of Lion Mountain, where a considerable number of people had already gathered, drawn by reputation to climb the mountain.

Li Xian was evidently visiting for the first ti, and she looked at the surroundings with curiosity, continuously admiring the environnt.

Lion Mountain is quite picturesque; from a distance, it resembles a giant lion sitting on the ground, striking awe in everyone who sees it.

Even Ye Feng, seeing this view for the first ti, couldn't help but marvel at the handiwork of nature.

In no ti, they reached the start of the climb and began their ascent of Lion Mountain. The steps, trodden by countless people, appeared exceptionally smooth.

The initial parts of the climb were not particularly steep.

Moreover, this path was lined with various colorful flowers, planted by who knows whom, which delighted Li Xian imnsely.

Ye Feng wasn't in a hurry to proceed, and the two of them chatted and laughed along the way.

There were many vendors on the path, selling different mountain specialties.

Along the first half of the trail, Ye Feng and Li Xian were eating and playing, and before they knew it, they had reached halfway up the mountain.

But as they continued, the stairs beca increasingly steep, one section following another, with no place to rest.

"I'm exhausted, I can't climb anymore, I won't climb anymore,"

Not far into the latter half, Li Xian felt imnsely fatigued and imdiately found a nearby rock to sit upon.

Her forehead was dotted with sweat, and she continuously massaged her calves, clearly very tired.

Seeing Li Xian like this, Ye Feng stopped walking and ca over to her side, squatting down.

"What's wrong, tired?"

Ye Feng asked Li Xian while taking out tissues to wipe her sweat.

"Yes," Li Xian replied with an expectant look at Ye Feng, her voice soft.

Suddenly, Li Xian hooked her arms around Ye Feng's neck.

"Why don't you carry

up?"

Li Xian looked at Ye Feng with anticipation, speaking coyly, afraid he might refuse.

"Haha," listening to Li Xian's request, Ye Feng couldn't help but laugh.

It turned out the little girl had such an intention.

"Sure, but you have to..." Saying this, Ye Feng turned his face and pointed to his right cheek.

"You are so annoying," Li Xian knew exactly what Ye Feng wanted her to do, seeing his playful smile.

But there were many people around, and Li Xian felt sowhat embarrassed.

Taking advantage of a mont when no one was paying attention, Li Xian quickly pecked Ye Feng's cheek.

"And here,"

Ye Feng seed still unsatisfied, pointing to his left cheek.

"You really are annoying, hurry up and carry !" Li Xian appeared a bit impatient.

While speaking, she pinched Ye Feng's waist hard.

But her face showed a shy expression, seeming a bit embarrassed.

Seeing this, Ye Feng wisely stopped teasing Li Xian, smiling as he crouched down to let her climb on his back.

Li Xian wrapped her arms tightly around Ye Feng's neck.

"Hold on tight," Ye Feng stood up imdiately, but mischievously placed his hands on Li Xian's firm roundness.

"Hands off!" Li Xian's face turned beet red as she waved her pale fists, hitting Ye Feng's head gently.

A young lady is, after all, shy.

If there weren't so many people around, Li Xian might not mind, but although it wasn't a crowd, there were many climbers.

Li Xian's back pressed tightly against Ye Feng, who felt her softness against his back, secretly pleased.

Carrying Li Xian, Ye Feng ran uphill, attracting the gaze of many people.

"Stop it," Li Xian thought, her efforts in vain, as Ye Feng discreetly touched her firm roundness.

That wasn't the worst part—her body suddenly betrayed her, reacting to Ye Feng's caresses.

Feeling dampness below, Li Xian flushed even more and buried her head in Ye Feng's back, hiding her embarrassed face.

But she didn't realize, this made her softness press even tighter against Ye Feng's back.

This heightened the stimulation for Ye Feng, whose hands beca more unruly.

Li Xian was unsure what to do, giving up resistance, letting Ye Feng freely touch her.

Luckily, Lion Mountain wasn't very tall, so at Ye Feng's pace, they swiftly reached the top.

At the summit, Ye Feng reluctantly set Li Xian down, seeing her resentful gaze made him nervous.

"Help! Please save my son."

Just as Ye Feng and Li Xian reached the mountain top, a heart-wrenching plea for help echoed from there.

The sound was incredibly mournful, affecting both Ye Feng and Li Xian deeply.

They exchanged looks, knowing sothing serious was happening, and ran toward the sound.

Sothing dangerous was surely unfolding there.

Without delay, Ye Feng quickly lifted Li Xian, rushing toward the sound's direction.

They soon arrived at the location, which was packed with people.

A woman in her thirties with a delicate face had tracks of tears across it, her eyes red from crying, and her voice was hoarse, continuously screaming.

She was persistently pleading for help from those around her, who all showed sympathy but none offered assistance.

A man tried climbing over the railings repeatedly but was pulled back by those around him.

They knew that if this man climbed over, he wouldn't be saving his child; instead, he would be risking his own life.

"Alas, I fear it's too late for the child."

"Isn't that true, the child is so young."

The crowd murmured compassionately, but none stepped forward to help the woman.

Ye Feng frowned but upon reaching the mountain's edge, he realized the truth.

A young boy was hanging off the mountain's edge, clutching a branch tightly, beneath him was a bottomless abyss.

The branch could break at any mont, putting the boy in extre danger.

It's not that people stood idle; they simply lacked the ability to save him.

Crack!

"Oh no, the branch is breaking!"
