Chapter 661: Chapter 635: Great Joy
The enemies that broke in are actually quite strong. From the mont of the firefight, it was clear that they’re dead accurate with their shots, basically aiming for a one-for-one exchange.

Coming from the national team, Yuri naturally doesn’t take those who erged through unconventional ans seriously.
Glancing outside, Yuri sneered, “They won’t attack again; no one will go for fifty percent bounty.”
Gao Yi felt that he was just diocre; he didn’t think he was particularly skilled, but seeing the large number of people hesitating outside because of his na gave him an unprecedented sense of satisfaction.
So this is the deterrent power of a master, this is the feeling of renowned prestige.
Outside, the people’s combat strength isn’t bad, but they’re still a ragtag bunch; these people are here for money, not to risk their lives.
Whoever steps forward dies—who’s going to spend the money they earn? Just based on this, even if the bounty was distributed according to the agreed ratio, no one would want to be the trailblazer.
Yuri said lightly, “This is a common collaboration model. McCarthy took the job and gathered so powerful rcenary groups to work. So, as long as you take him down, even if they complete the task, they can’t claim the bounty; taking him out will disperse the rest.”

They were defending the lobby rather than retreating upstairs because once the enemy entered the building, it would beco indoor warfare, which would be more troubleso for Gao Yi and company. Better to hold the entrance as long as possible.
Earlier, Gao Yi and the others split into two groups, one fighting from the lobby upwards, while Gao Yi ca up via the outside fire escape. Now, the first wave of enemy attacks had been blocked, and no one dared rush into the door, making it inevitable that they would split to find ways to enter the building.
“The first one in gets fifty percent of the bounty, hey! What are you doing! We don’t have ti!”
McCarthy was still outside shouting loudly, exposing the rcenaries’ intentions, and soone dissatisfied said, “Shut up! Stop yelling, you’re giving away our strategy to Mr. Gardener.”
McCarthy might be familiar with rcenaries, but he’s not a rcenary himself and doesn’t know how to fight.
Yuri whispered, “Retreat upstairs, watch the entrances. We’re trying to buy ti.”
According to the usual rhythm, the next phase was just regular trash ti.
Gao Yi and the others retreated to let the enemies search and attack layer by layer. They heard earlier that they only had five minutes; now three had passed, and the remaining ti could just be wasted away.
No pressure, no difficulty. Unless particularly unlucky, there wouldn’t be any trouble.
“Take Little Andic to the third floor.”
Yuri wasn’t purely a combatant; though he could fight, age had caught up with him.
Without a word, Yuri took Little Andic and headed straight for the elevator.
Just then, Dani suddenly said, “Try to lock all the doors after going up, prolong the enemy’s search ti, create so illusions; forget five minutes, fifty wouldn’t be enough to thoroughly search this building… Wait, more people are coming. Are they enemies or reinforcents? They’re enemies!”
Dani initially sounded very confident.
Pulling out to face a rcenary group head-on wasn’t feasible, as they were outnumbered and outgunned. But stalling ti in a building is fundantal for a special agent.
However, as he spoke, Dani’s tone changed, because more cars arrived, and he deduced that the newcors were enemies because the ones already outside had neither dodged nor engaged; clearly, they weren’t reinforcents.
The cars couldn’t drive up close anymore; the newcors started getting out, quickly gathering beside the vehicles, barely saying a word before charging toward the Compaq Building.
Gao Yi’s phone rang, Joelson called from outside.
Upon answering, he heard Joelson furiously shout, “Ben, it’s Ben! Those bastards actually allowed Ben to make a move! Uh, they’ve even brought knives?”
Ben made his move in New York, not hiring rcenaries or assassins, but sending his own people to resolve Mr. Gardener personally.
Ben’s resolve to eliminate Mr. Gardener wasn’t in doubt, and what shocked and angered Joelson was that Ben dared to wield weapons in the United States uninhibited.
Aricans can fight internally, but allowing Ben on their soil is like brothers fighting over an inheritance with a neighbor helping, and this neighbor is soone generally looked down upon.
Gao Yi didn’t mind this; for sothing Ben couldn’t do in Japan but managed to accomplish in New York, it was quite satisfactory.
Soon, Gao Yi heard soone speaking from outside the door with a slightly odd accent.
“Mr. Gardener, your invincible combat skills are well-known; I challenge you to a duel. Would you dare To fight to the death?”
Gao Yi was first dumbfounded, then overjoyed, his joy overflowing, his face lighting up with happiness, utterly delighted.
His mind couldn’t think of anything, already eagerly responding, “Co! You co! All of you co!”
