Chapter 607: Chapter 581 Script

The secret eting within the smallest circle at the highest level in the United States quickly reached a consensus.

Next, it was ti to engage in dialogue with those qualified to sit at the negotiation table.

Russia can’t escape, and Russia must pay so price. Furthermore, it’s ti for Russia to owe a favor.

Compared to those present on site, Gao Yi was just a tiny figure, a figure too small to be seen or acknowledged.

But now, Gao Yi, as the spokesperson for the Five Permanent mbers of the Inner World, has stood at the forefront, influencing and even dictating the fate of the Surface World.

“The greatest difficulty has now been resolved. Next, perhaps it’s an opportunity to communicate with Russia. If we can help Russia resolve the crisis, then they certainly have to pay so price.”

Making Russia owe a favor won’t work because Russians don’t recognize favors when turning their backs. However, Gao Yi not knowing how to collect doesn’t matter, as long as those attending the eting know.

“Let the Russians acknowledge the source of the nuclear bomb, recognize the status of the Soviet Restoration Committee, admit that their mistakes and incompetence caused trendous losses to Japan, and wait until they publicly issue a statent admitting these things before we resolve the crisis that could destroy Moscow for them.”

The President spoke.

A businessman might lack sufficient long-term strategic vision, but imdiate benefits can certainly be grasped.

There must be soone to take the bla for the events in Japan, or rather soone to bear the responsibility.

However, the President’s demands are a bit excessive; no matter what, Russia wouldn’t accept such a heavy burden.

Gao Yi had nothing to say, and others dared not contradict the President, but Panetta suddenly said: “Mr. President, this is a global crisis. The most important thing now is to resolve this crisis. Making Russia admit to supporting a terrorist attack is unrealistic, and blaming the Russians’ incompetence isn’t very aningful. My suggestion is to resolve this crisis as soon as possible.”

Panetta was sowhat responsible. After persuading the President, he said decisively: “Since Moscow is also under significant threat now, what we need most is to control Amos in our hands. Therefore, I believe we should act imdiately; the CIA is very experienced in handling such a crisis.”

Snyder suddenly said, “Our people have already taken charge.”

At this mont, a General appearing on-screen said in a deep voice, “Let’s act imdiately. We need to be cautious to avoid any sabotage from the Japanese side.”

The Pentagon and CIA began competing for control of the operation, making Gao Yi’s position sowhat awkward. He couldn’t lean too obviously toward the CIA because if the Pentagon didn’t cooperate, the task couldn’t be carried out.

Gao Yi had a good relationship with the CIA and also with the Secret Action Bureau. If he declared support for one side, he would undoubtedly offend the other.

But this mont showcased Panetta’s political wisdom.

“Alright, then please let the military act quickly. If necessary, we can provide assistance at any ti or take over this operation.”

Next, the CIA had nothing to do, with the primary success still attributed, so Panetta’s words made the Pentagon take the initiative in shouldering responsibility to make them act faster and cooperate more.

Panetta voluntarily retreated, and Snyder seized the opportunity, saying decisively, “I’ll start the operation right away.”

The eting ended, with the illuminated screens gradually turning dark. Snyder breathed a sigh of relief, turned to look at Gao Yi, pondered montarily, and finally said, “I’ll give you the plane you need, and provide aerial protection. Kanter will assist you.”

Gao Yi nodded slightly and said, “Okay.”

Snyder appeared to be in pain, pointed to the door, and whispered, “I need to hold a secret military eting.”

Gao Yi imdiately said, “Alright, I also need to contact soone.”

Gao Yi walked out, watching a group of generals and high-ranking officers file in.

Snyder held a secret military eting for deploynt, while Gao Yi had to touch base with Yuri.

Where is the nuclear bomb hidden? With helicopters, one must know where to pick it up.

Also, Japan’s air defense system has been fully activated. If we want to prevent US planes from being shot down by Japan, Japan’s air defense systems must first be disabled.

It sounds simple, but it’s quite troubleso to actually do. Fortunately, the lifeline of Japan is in the hands of the Aricans. As long as Snyder cooperates, Japan has no chance to resist.

Snyder is contemplating how to proceed discreetly, ensuring the Japanese don’t realize it’s tacitly supported or even backed by the Aricans. This show requires not only acting skills but also technical and tactical support.

And what Gao Yi needs to do is straightforward.

Find a place and call Yuri.

“Hello, we have the planes ready; four helicopters are available. Don’t worry about air defense. If intercepted, you can shoot down their planes.”

Yuri whistled lightly and then whispered, “That’s quick action.”

Gao Yi didn’t want to disrupt anyone’s plans, whispered, “The planes are being prepared. Once they’re ready, let know the specific location of the nuclear bomb and any precautions needed.”

“There are so; I feel the play must be perford better. So could you provide a helicopter for us to fly ourselves?”

Yuri’s request was not too demanding, but certainly not easy.

Gao Yi pondered for a while and asked, “Why?”

“This is a nuclear explosion. You want to watch it closely from the air? Soone must actively sacrifice for this. In my script, Mount Fuji is found with a nuclear bomb, and soone went to defuse it; after fierce battle, the nuclear bomb was eventually detonated.”

Yuri said indifferently, “A tragic heroic finale.”

Indeed, it’s a nuclear explosion; flying in a helicopter isn’t so safe.

Gao Yi whispered, “Alright, I’ll find a way to give you the helicopter; anything else?”

“Of course, we must successfully stop the nuclear explosion. A team failed to dismantle the bomb but another successfully captured Amos, stopping the nuclear explosion at Moscow though failing at Mount Fuji, successfully averting a crisis that could’ve sparked a world war. Isn’t that better?”

This script feels rather thin in plot, but due to ti constraints, let’s keep it this way for now.

“Alright, let’s start filming as per your script. We can modify it anyti; anything else to note?”

Yuri thought for a mont, then seriously said, “Notify everyone you deem important to evacuate Tokyo, because no one knows what might happen next.”
