441: Chapter 421 What are you laughing at?

441: Chapter 421 What are you laughing at?

Sith is not the aloof type; he neither appears too quiet nor does he make eye-catching actions.

From any angle, he’s just a normal person.

Actually, it’s good this way.

Those faceless, seemingly unapproachable folks could be of any profession, any identity, but definitely not a spy.

Smile when you need to smile, cry when you need to cry.

Laughing at the wrong ti can be lethal, but once in the car and away from others, one can laugh.

Before getting into the car with Gao Yi, Sith’s expression was normal.

But after boarding, especially when it was just him and Gao Yi left, Sith’s face broke into a smile, and once the car started moving, he laughed outright.

“What are you laughing at?”

“I’m laughing at Captain Britain … hahaha … it’s hilarious!”

Gao Yi thought for a mont and said, “Jeer at the joke, not the person.

No, wait, we shouldn’t mock others’ physical defects.

Obesity is an illness; it’s unethical to laugh at it like that.”

Sith was surprisingly replied, “You sound like you’re performing in front of a cara.

Do you have a performative personality?”

After pondering, Gao Yi finally said, “I just worry about wiretaps.”

Sith laughed even louder, then joyfully said, “I’m not laughing at a fat person; what’s there to laugh at a fat person?

I’m laughing because the British sent out their Captain Britain, but…

hahaha!”

“What’s funny about that?”

Gao Yi still didn’t understand why Sith was laughing.

Sith, extrely amused, responded, “Isn’t the na Captain Britain funny?

Seeing how proud they are when they say Captain Britain, isn’t that funny?

Really, isn’t it funny?

Well, if you were in my position, you’d find it funny too, a fat man…

cough cough.”

Sith finally stopped laughing.

Because it really isn’t that funny.

Sith focused on driving, following the car that Green and others were in.

After a while, Sith couldn’t help but start laughing again, then he blurted out, “The head of Military Intelligence Sixth Departnt among other big nas, used a long-retired fat man… hahaha, Captain Britain looking like that, it’s just too funny.”

Gao Yi puzzledly said, “Putting aside whether Captain Britain is funny, is he very capable?”

“Um, er, well, he’s one of the prototypes for 007, does that make sense to you?”

Gao Yi exclaid in surprise, “Dani?

That fat guy?

Him?

007?

Really, is he that powerful?”

“Blown out of proportion, Brits made a 007 movie and then let the Aricans hype it up for them, Captain Britain…

ha, a poor imitation of Captain Arica.”

“So, he’s not famous?”

“Uh, no, he’s very famous.”

“How famous?”

Gao Yi’s question was straightforward, but it stumped Sith.

After hesitating for a while, Sith responded, “I don’t know, I just know that France has made him a symbol of Military Intelligence Sixth Departnt, a symbol for a significantly long period, and during this ti, whenever Britain needed to assassinate soone, he was their man.

Although not as exaggerated as in movies, he indeed is highly versatile, be it in gathering intelligence, assassination, or other tasks.”

“If none of you know what he’s done, why is he famous?”

Gao Yi shrugged again and again.

Because Gao Yi understood a principle, a good warrior achieves fa without notable deeds, especially as a spy, any achievents on the secretive front are only for insiders; if outsiders know, it ans leaking secrets, which shows incompetence.

Sith whispered, “Maybe it’s because the KGB always had a bounty on him, the KGB tried hard to kill him, and Captain Britain gained fa in the NATO intelligence system because the KGB ordered openly that anyone who gets a chance should kill him no matter the cost, and there are just a few spies who received this kind of treatnt.”

Gao Yi suddenly realized; it seems this Dani did sothing quite remarkable, so much so that the KGB openly issued a death order regardless of the consequences.

Then, it might be that Dani is really quite capable.

But such a capable person appearing with a big belly surely was a huge mismatch; thinking of this, Gao Yi couldn’t help but start laughing.

“You’re laughing too!

Why are you laughing?”

“Don’t know, hahaha, just find it very funny…”

“Told you it was funny.”

The two laughed until they could barely breathe.

They didn’t want to continue laughing, but hearing each other’s laughter, they couldn’t help but laugh along.

It was bizarre.

Gao Yi realized he had never laughed so freely and inexplicably this much in his entire life.

Until the car in front stopped.

This ti it wasn’t an apartnt but a standalone villa in a less bustling area of London, yet still in a core location, with a black iron gate tall about three ters and red brick walls facing the road.

An old building with so history, there was even a large oak tree in the yard.

Now that the day had brightened and there were pedestrians and vehicles on the road, Green’s car was parked by the roadside, followed by only Dani’s car, and then Gao Yi’s car.

Not far from the villa gate, but still so distance away.

Dani got out of the car, first tried to tuck in his stomach, finding that ineffective, he gave up and patted his stomach before shutting the car door and walking towards the car that Green and the others were in.

“Are we going down?”

Sith asked, and Gao Yi thought for a mont, then said: “Let’s go down, otherwise how can we watch his performance.”

Sith opened the car door, got out first, and then looked around, but before he could do anything, Gao Yi pushed the door open and got out himself.

At this ti, Green also got out of the car in front.

For so reason, Gao Yi felt like laughing again.

After Green got out of the car, he exhaled, then lifted his wrist, pulled up the sleeve of his woolen coat to check his watch, and said, “Is this feasible?”

Dani replied without hesitation, “Of course.”

“Five minutes?”

Dani stretched out a finger without hesitating, then very seriously said, “Two minutes.”

Gao Yi couldn’t help but laugh, then quickly coughed lightly and turned his head away.

Sith showed no expression; when it’s not appropriate to laugh, he wouldn’t laugh.

When it cos to controlling expressions, he is definitely better than Gao Yi.

Dani couldn’t help but glance at Gao Yi, rolled his eyes, and decided to hold back for the mont.

Green pointed at the villa’s main door and said, “This is the place.

I’ve already told you the characteristics of our target.

As for whether there are any guards inside, and how many there might be, I don’t know.

Anyway, once you start your move, we will just watch, not intervene, not assist, nor help you erase surveillance footage afterward.

With that said, is two minutes still enough?”

“Three minutes.”

“Alright, three minutes.”

Green pressed a few buttons on his watch and said, “Start now, let him see.”

Dani turned and walked back to his car, he opened the car door, leaned in, and pulled sothing from the passenger seat, then stuffed two things into his already tight pockets.

It was then that Gao Yi saw Dani insert a sawed-off blaster into his lower back waist.

Without a belt to secure it, the blaster would slide down, so realizing the blaster didn’t stay where he wanted but slid right into his crotch, Dani cursed softly in annoyance, then pulled out the short blaster and clipped it horizontally on his lower back.

“Tsk, tsk, cough, cough…

tsk…”

Gao Yi’s threshold for laughter had been lowered by Sith.

Dani took a deep breath, clearly holding a lot of pent-up frustration.

Dani walked briskly towards the villa’s main gate, then stopped right in front of it, gauged the height of the gate and the wall, and couldn’t help but scratch his head.

Sith whispered, “Is he really going to climb the wall?

He’s not, right?

Right?”

No sooner said than done, Dani suddenly grabbed the iron bars of the main gate, kicked against the wall battlent with both feet, his left foot lifting about half a ter off the ground and the right foot hitting about a ter off the ground.

Then, he landed both feet as if nothing happened, let go of the iron gate, and walked past as if nothing occurred.

Gao Yi and Sith turned around; Sith covered his mouth, but he didn’t make a sound.

Gao Yi couldn’t hold back and let out a strange snickering laugh again.

“Look at him, see what he’s going to do.”

Sith held back his laughter and turned back to watch Dani.

Dani took a couple of steps forward, suddenly spun around, and then pulled sothing out from the strap of his overalls.

He went back to the main gate, slightly bent over, inserted the object into the keyhole and stirred it a few tis, then pulled the gate open to one side.

Sith was taken aback, and said, “Isn’t it an electronic lock?

Brits are really behind the tis.”

Gao Yi couldn’t help but say, “Wow, that’s quite a neat trick.”

Dani muttered under his breath, “Laugh your a** off, son of a b***h, b***h, b***h…”

The volu was just loud enough for Gao Yi and others to hear.

Dani strutted into the courtyard, chest out.

Gao Yi exclaid urgently, “Keep up, see what he’s going to do.”

While entering the yard, Dani casually drew the blaster clamped at his lower back.

Is he going to use a gun now?

That’s amateurish!

Just as Gao Yi was despising and about to stop Dani, he saw a strong Middle Eastern man dressed in a suit running out from one side, confronting Dani, “Get out!

This is…”

Dani suddenly swung the blaster in his hand, a familiar sound ‘plop’, and the strong man imdiately fell to the ground.

The strong man’s legs twitched slightly, red and white substance flowing all over from his head.

Slightly louder than a hamr strike, but equally effective.

Dani whispered to the man on the ground, “That’s for your constant yapping!

Suck it!”

Gao Yi and Sith imdiately shut their mouths.

Whether they could beat him was another question, but as he was truly angry, it was better to not laugh.

It wasn’t ethical.

Though it was still really funny, incredibly funny.
