352: Chapter 336: All Onboard 352: Chapter 336: All Onboard “I have surrounded the enemy, do not co.”

Gao Yi truly thought so.

It was so arrogant it was exasperating.

But for Gao Yi, his best weapon at the mont was the hand grenade, and all the enemies were confined to a small area.

All he needed to do was toss the hand grenade near them without worrying about collateral damage.

If Donkey led his n to charge right through the middle and got tangled up with the enemy, then Gao Yi would actually find it troubleso.

The enemy had originally concentrated most of their forces near the staircase, situated at a distance that was out of the hand grenade’s lethal range yet close enough for rapid, concentrated gunfire.

It was hard to say whether the enemies were more chaotic or panicked, but Gao Yi’s sudden attack on their flank inevitably forced them to divert their attention.

Unsure of how many n Gao Yi had, the enemy opted to respond with the strongest posture they could muster.

Two-person or three-person fireteams were the most commonly used tactical units in indoor combat, as crowded spaces limited the maneuverability of larger groups.

Gao Yi had just eliminated a three-person fireteam and killed another three-person fireteam’s leading assault rifler with a hand grenade.

Now, the two remaining enemies were hiding behind a door, each aiming their guns at Gao Yi’s position, blocking the corridor and ready to shoot Gao Yi the mont he appeared.

Gao Yi had morized the approximate location of the enemies.

It wasn’t far, just about ten ters.

Now, they were montarily at a standoff, but this stalemate wouldn’t last long, only a few seconds.

The enemy would soon make a move; two would provide cover, and two would advance to aggressively take down Gao Yi.

This was the only option in indoor combat, a globally recognized tactic used by everyone.

But Gao Yi uncharacteristically didn’t use this tactic, not due to a lack of manpower, but because he simply didn’t know it.

For indoor battles, Gao Yi had his own understanding and his own thods.

Confirming the enemy’s location, he ntally adjusted the hand grenade’s preset tir, then loosened his fingers to let the handle of the hand grenade pop open in his palm.

Holding the hand grenade loosely, he silently counted to five.

Right when another second would have caused the hand grenade to explode in his palm, Gao Yi suddenly swung his hand.

His body remained behind cover, only his arm swiftly waving once, briefly exposing itself to the enemy’s view.

The hand grenade traveled quickly with a straight trajectory, exploding in mid-air without touching the ground or hitting a wall, just monts before the tid fuse triggered the blast.

Though it was less than a ter off the ground, the explosion occurred mid-air.

A defensive hand grenade, designed to produce a substantial amount of shrapnel.

A loud bang followed, then ca a painful yell, soon joined by another voice crying out in agony, “I’ve been hit!”

It was the first voice outcry indicating a hit, the voice sounding quite young.

Gao Yi didn’t rush to move; instead, he picked up another hand grenade.

But this ti, instead of holding it in his hand and letting ti pass, he imdiately threw it.

The hand grenade hit the floor, clattering and skidding forward.

Gao Yi instantly grabbed another hand grenade, released the handle and, clutching the grenade, he charged out.

Soone roared, “Hand grenade!”

Given the intimidation from the previous two grenades Gao Yi had thrown, this grenade made everyone instinctively want to dodge.

Those blocking the corridor couldn’t help but flinch, opting not to shoot imdiately.

Utilizing this brief mont, Gao Yi left the room he was hiding in and charged down the corridor.

anwhile, the enemies had vacated their shooting positions.

As the hand grenade skidded and hit the wall, it exploded harmlessly in a completely non-threatening spot.

This demonstrated the advantage of offensive hand grenades—Gao Yi, still in the hallway, didn’t need to worry about being hit by his own grenade’s fragnts.

A defensive hand grenade could effectively kill within a fifteen-ter range.

Where the shrapnel landed was entirely up to luck, so anyone within the lethal range had to take cover when a grenade was thrown.

Gao Yi knew whether he was using defensive or offensive grenades, but the enemy couldn’t tell, which allowed him to capitalize on the mont they had to take cover.

This ti, however, Gao Yi threw a defensive hand grenade.

The greatest advantage of precise grenade throwing was being able to target a very confined area.

Others might throw a grenade to a general location, but Gao Yi could aim for the most damaging spot.

Maximizing the already considerable power of the hand grenade, increasing accuracy brought a qualitative leap in effectiveness.

Put simply, in other’s hands, a hand grenade was just like a conventional bomb thrown with a general impact area, but with Gao Yi, that hand grenade beca a laser-guided bomb, hitting precisely where it was directed.

The hand grenade flew through a narrow angle into a room, then with a loud bang, blasted the enemy hiding behind the door clearly out, leaving them laying crisply on the ground.

Three people opened fire; Gao Yi rapidly retreated and then felt a bullet hit him.

His bullet-proof vest saved his life, the bullet striking him right in the chest.

The enemies’ overall level was quite comndable, much stronger than those Gao Yi had encountered before.

Though they had missed the best opportunity to fire, the fact that they could hit Gao Yi, moving at high speed, indicated their excellent gun skills and quick reflexes.

Being hit by a bullet reminded Gao Yi not to be too arrogant.

The enemy wasn’t just fodder that couldn’t strike back; this wasn’t Africa, either.

Still, Gao Yi was born with a big, albeit sowhat crooked, heart.

Ordinary people would be scared to death, or nearly scared to death under these circumstances, but Gao Yi, who had been shot, started to get excited instead.

It had been a long ti since he experienced such a surge of adrenaline, unbeatable in combat, only feeling a sense of crisis when many guns were pointed at his head, ready to blow it off at any mont.

Gao Yi slid his hamr back to his waist and took a Hand Grenade in each hand.

Using his old trick, he didn’t step out but threw one Hand Grenade first.

However, at the sa ti, Gao Yi was already holding the second grenade in his hand lightly.

Hearing the Hand Grenade explode with a thunderous bang, Gao Yi imdiately darted aside.

His prediction was correct—the enemies, after enduring several explosions, thought they had figured out his throwing pattern.

This ti, after the Hand Grenade was thrown, two n did not retreat inside but kept their guns aid at the door fra, waiting for Gao Yi to appear.

But this ti, Gao Yi didn’t go out; he quickly threw the second grenade.

The two grenades exploded one after the other, but in a very short interval and the first grenade exploded upon hitting the ground, while the second exploded in mid-air.

The destructive power of a grenade exploding on the ground versus in the air are completely different concepts.

The enemies were not unaware, but they had never imagined that soone could use Hand Grenades so fancily.

The second grenade hit the attacking enemies squarely—not just one or two, but all four tasked with dealing with Gao Yi were caught within the blast range of the grenade.

There were screams, and gunshots followed, but firing at that mont was nothing more than shooting blindly.

Gao Yi groped at his chest, only finding one more Hand Grenade.

He ripped it out and charged forward holding just that one grenade.

Two n had fallen without firing.

One crawled back into the room while another lay sideways on the ground, his upper body outside the door, firing at Gao Yi with one hand.

But a glance at the direction of the muzzle was enough to tell that the shooting was wildly off target and posed no threat.

Gao Yi ran straight at the enemy who was firing, covering the short distance in seconds.

During his run, he threw his last grenade—the ground targeted grenade exploding right next to the enemy’s head lying on the ground, instantly killing the shooter.

The number of enemies was unpredictable, sotis more, sotis less, but now, there was no one capable of fighting in front of Gao Yi.

Gao Yi, while running, drew his hamr again, twirled it gracefully in the air, gripped the handle, bent forward, his left hand seizing a gun barrel from an enemy on the left, his right hand smashing a face with the hamr.

Gao Yi released the hamr again.

It twirled in the air, and he grabbed its head.

The head of the hamr was slippery.

Holding the hamr head, he slid the handle back into the belt at his lower back.

The problem with the hamr was that one end was too big, forcing it to be stored head up when put away.

Gao Yi slung his rifle over, caught the butt with a smack of his right hand, and aid the rifle.

This was a stockless rifle, not to Gao Yi’s liking, but now with no enemies nearby, and no more Hand Grenades or pistols to use, he couldn’t possibly continue charging forward wielding a hamr.

At that mont, a new enemy appeared.

The two faced each other, eting in the corridor.

Gao Yi fired first as he ran towards the enemy, startling the suddenly erging enemy half to death.

Of course, dust from the explosions had covered the entire ground floor of the corridor, but the concentration varied—the farther from the explosion point, the lower the density.

Moreover, as ti passed, the dust was no longer a hindrance to the visibility of night vision devices.

Gao Yi fired, and the enemy fired too, but as Gao Yi had fired first, the enemy, in extre panic, fired while retreating.

Gao Yi hit the enemy, he was sure he struck the enemy several tis, but the enemy before him could still move.

Gao Yi didn’t know if he was hit, but his speed was unaffected.

The gun was impressively effective, and Gao Yi fired no more than ten bullets before pulling the trigger again to find the rifle unresponsive.

Without ti to think, Gao Yi in his dash moved his left hand forward, grabbed the hot barrel, and violently swung the rifle.

The enemy instinctively raised his gun to block, the plastic stock hitting the enemy’s weapon.

Without pulling out his hamr or kicking, Gao Yi simply used his charging montum, dipping his shoulder to barrel into the enemy.

The enemy flew backward.

And at that mont, Gao Yi saw at least ten people.

There was no stopping them this ti, but Gao Yi, using the recoil, twisted his body and imdiately leaped into a nearby room.

Instantly, gunshots blared, bullets completely enveloping the space where Gao Yi had just been.

The gunfire suddenly ceased, showing the enemies’ quick reaction ti, emptying their bullets into the air—a typical move only Africans would make.

Then, Gao Yi heard a desperate shout.

“Falke!Is that a ghost!”

Ungraspable, uncatchable, and unkillable, Gao Yi really seed like a ghost at that mont.

Following that, soone angrily exclaid, “Don’t get close, blow him up!”

It wasn’t about the enemies’ willingness to approach; now it was Gao Yi who first used several Hand Grenades to blast the enemies into disarray, creating the opportunity to approach and strike.

So it was Gao Yi’s tactic, Gao Yi’s choice, not the enemy’s.

The enemies had no more options, and the timing was ripe.

Gao Yi whispered, “Go, everyone go!”
