The soft glow of dawn seeped through the curtains as Noah's phone buzzed on his nightstand. Still half-asleep, he reached for it, unlocking the screen to reveal a ssage from Adam.

"Morning, Noah. We need you back at the base today. Your team will be training together again, and there's a new addition you'll want to et—Henderson. I'll explain more when you get here."

Noah smirked, the corners of his lips curling upward as he read the ssage. Adam might not have gone into detail, but Noah didn't need him to. He had already anticipated this move.

"Good. Everything's falling into place," he murmured under his breath.

With a stretch and a yawn, Noah swung his legs over the side of the bed and rose, his mind already racing ahead to the day's events.

...

Noah began with a quick but intense gym session, the sound of weights clanging against tal filling the private gym in his mansion. His enhanced strength made the once-heavy weights feel like re playthings, yet he pushed himself harder, honing both his body and mind for what lay ahead.

After that, Noah headed to the shower.

The cold water cascaded over his skin, waking him up completely and sharpening his thoughts. "Today's going to be interesting," he mused, the smirk from earlier still lingering.

After showering, Noah headed to the kitchen.

Selena, his housekeeper, had prepared a protein-packed al that sat steaming on the kitchen counter when he entered.

"Good morning, sir," Selena greeted, setting down a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice.

"Morning," Noah replied, taking a seat. As he dug into the al, his phone buzzed again. A quick glance revealed another ssage, this one from Lionel.

"Gold shop's doing great, boss. Thanks for the AI—it's already turning imnse profits."

Noah chuckled softly, replying with a simple. "Keep up the good work,"

Selena observed him with her usual quiet curiosity but said nothing. She had grown accustod to his nature, though she often wondered what kept him so busy. The young, but powerful master was always outside.

After finishing breakfast, Noah stepped into his Lykan Hypersport, the engine purred to life, the deep growl reverberating through the morning. Noah tapped the GPS screen, inputting the base's coordinates even though he could've driven there blindfolded.

"Ti to see what the team's up to," he muttered, pulling out of the driveway with a smooth yet assertive turn.

Upon reaching the base, Noah noticed the gate guards were already expecting him.

"Good morning, Captain," one of them greeted, saluting him sharply.

Noah returned a casual nod, rolling down his window. "Morning. Let Lieutenant Adam know I'm here."

"Yes, sir."

The gates swung open, and Noah drove inside, parking his Lykan in a designated space reserved for officers. As he stepped out, he spotted Adam waiting for him near the main building, his hands clasped behind his back.

"Punctual as always," Adam remarked with a faint smile.

"You called, I ca," Noah replied smoothly. "So, where's my team?"

Adam chuckled, motioning for Noah to follow him. "Eager, aren't you? They're in the training area, warming up. You'll find a familiar face among them."

As Noah entered the training area, his eyes imdiately fell on his team.

Natasha and Nathan were in the middle of a playful sparring session, their movents precise but not without the occasional playful jab. Henderson stood alongside Theo slightly off to the side, watching them with an amused yet analytical gaze.

The mont they noticed Noah, the energy shifted. Natasha was the first to react, her eyes lighting up.

"Captain!" she called out, jogging over to him with a grin. The others followed, greeting him with respect.

Henderson stepped forward, his expression slightly hesitant but warm. "Captain."

"Henderson," Noah replied, his voice composed. His sharp eyes took in Henderson's posture, noting the renewed confidence in his stance.

"I heard you'd be joining us," Noah continued, extending a hand. "It's good to have you back in action."

Henderson grasped his hand firmly. "Thanks to you. I owe you one."

Natasha, ever the lively one, clapped her hands together. "Alright, now that we're all here, how about we show the Captain what we've been working on?"

"Or what we still need to work on," Nathan muttered, earning a chuckle from Theo.

The training grounds buzzed with the energy of anticipation as Noah stood at the center, observing his team as they geared up.

The air was crisp, the sound of boots hitting the dirt accompanied by the occasional clink of tal from their weapons.

"Alright," Noah called out, his voice calm yet commanding. "Today's session is simple: endurance, strategy, and teamwork."

Natasha raised an eyebrow, a playful smirk on her lips. "Sounds exciting."

Nathan groaned, already stretching his arms. "Why do I feel like we're not walking out of this alive?"

Theo chuckled quietly, shaking his head. "You'll survive, Nathan. Barely."

Henderson, standing quietly off to the side, smirked faintly but said nothing. He knew what was coming was going to be difficult.

...

Noah started them off with a gruelling warm-up.

A 5-mile run through the obstacle-laden course that he had obliterated just days prior. The team groaned collectively but took off.

Natasha and Nathan stayed ahead, their competitive streaks driving them forward. Theo maintained a steady rhythm, conserving his energy. Henderson, however, seed almost nonchalant, effortlessly keeping pace as if the course was child's play.

Noah followed behind, watching them closely. He noted Henderson's performance with a subtle smile.

After the run, Noah gathered them in the sparring ring.

"Pair up," he instructed. "Natasha and Nathan. Theo and Henderson."

Natasha grinned at Nathan. "Ready to get your butt kicked again?"

Nathan rolled his eyes. "Let's see if you've improved since last ti."

In the other corner, Theo sized up Henderson, his expression curious. "You've been out of the ga for a while. Think you can keep up?"

Henderson shrugged, his tone casual. "We'll see."

Noah stood in the center, arms crossed. "No holding back. Show what you've got."

As the drills began, it didn't take long for the team to notice sothing unusual. Henderson wasn't just keeping up—he was dominating.

Nathan, mid-grapple with Natasha, glanced over and saw Theo struggling against Henderson's accurate strikes and sheer strength. "What the… Henderson's a beast now?"

Natasha landed a quick elbow strike on Nathan, making him stumble. "Focus on your fight, Nathan!" she snapped, though her own eyes flicked toward Henderson with intrigue.

Theo, breathing heavily, finally stepped back and held up a hand. "Alright, alright, I yield. What the hell, Henderson? You weren't this strong before."

Henderson offered a small shrug, wiping sweat from his brow. "I've been training."

"That's it?" Natasha interjected, walking over with Nathan trailing behind. "You're twice as fast and strong as you used to be. There's no way that's just 'training.' Spill it."

Henderson shook his head, his tone light. "What can I say? I've had good motivation."

Nathan leaned in, narrowing his eyes. "Motivation or not, this is insane. You're a completely different person."

Noah, who had been silently observing, stepped forward. "Enough chatter. Back to drills."

His calm but firm tone silenced the group imdiately. They exchanged glances but nodded, returning to their sparring stances.

Henderson, however, noticed the faint smirk on Noah's lips and couldn't help but feel a twinge of gratitude.

After hours of gruelling drills and sparring, Noah decided to end the session with a team exercise.

"I want all four of you working together," he said, gesturing to the training dummies spread across the field. "Your goal is simple: eliminate all targets as quickly and efficiently as possible. Use your strengths and cover each other's weaknesses."

The team nodded, forming a loose circle. Natasha took the lead, signalling positions. "Nathan, cover the left flank. Theo, take the high ground. Henderson, you're with ."

The exercise began, and the field ca alive with movent. Nathan's sharp shooting took down distant targets, while Theo's agility allowed him to cover blind spots. Natasha and Henderson moved as a seamless unit, taking down close-range targets with precision.

Noah watched intently, his mind analyzing every move.

"They're starting to regain their familiarity with Henderson. That's good. But they still lack coordination under pressure."

When the last dummy fell, Noah clapped his hands once. "Not bad. But not great, either. Your teamwork needs work, and your communication is sloppy."

Natasha frowned, her competitive streak kicking in. "We can do better."

Noah smirked. "I know you can. That's why we're doing it again. Twice as many targets. Half the ti."

The team groaned collectively, but there was a spark of determination in their eyes. Henderson, standing at the back, couldn't help but smile faintly.

As the sun began to set, the team gathered around Noah, exhausted but satisfied.

"Good work today," Noah said, his tone lighter than before. "We'll pick up where we left off next ti."

Natasha grinned, wiping sweat from her forehead. "Next ti? Can't wait."

Nathan groaned. "I can."

Theo chuckled, patting Nathan on the back. "You'll survive."

Henderson remained quiet, but his gaze t Noah's. A silent understanding passed between them, and Noah gave him a small nod.

As the team dispersed, Adam approached, clapping Noah on the shoulder. "You've got them in shape already. Impressive."

Noah shrugged. "They're getting there. But there's still a long way to go."

Adam chuckled. "If anyone can take them to the next level, it's you."

Noah didn't respond, but his smirk said it all.

For a mont, the silence between them stretched, comfortable but laden with unspoken words.

Finally, Adam cleared his throat.

"Noah," he started, glancing at him. "There's sothing you should know about Henderson."

Noah raised an eyebrow but didn't interrupt. He allowed Adam to continue, knowing exactly what was coming.
