The lights of the the park twinkled like stars, the air a mixture of mingling scents of fried food, and candy.

Alia, Emily, and Noah strolled past the entrance gates, their tickets freshly scanned. Emily ran ahead, her energy levels unmatched, while Alia walked beside Noah, a small smile playing on her lips.

"Alright, where are we going first?" Noah asked, hands casually tucked into his pockets as he checked out the colourful chaos of the park.

Emily skidded to a halt near a spinning teacup ride, bouncing on her toes. "That one!"

Noah arched an eyebrow. "You sure? You're going to regret it when you can't walk straight afterwards."

Alia giggled, her cheeks dusted pink from the lights reflecting off the ride. "Oh, co on, Noah. Where's your sense of fun?"

"I left it at ho," Noah deadpanned, but Emily was already dragging him toward the line.

The three of them squeezed into a teacup, Emily taking the reins as the designated spinner.

"Hold on tight!" she squealed, grabbing the wheel in the centre and twisting it like her life depended on it.

As the ride began, Noah leaned back casually, his arms crossed, unaffected by the increasing speed. Alia, on the other hand, was holding onto the edge of the cup for dear life, laughing breathlessly.

"Noah, help her spin it!" Emily demanded, her small hands struggling to maintain the montum.

"You asked for it," Noah reached out, giving the wheel one firm turn. Instantly, the teacup went from a controlled spin to a dizzying blur of motion.

Alia shrieked, clutching at Noah's arm as the ride beca a chaotic whirlwind.

"Too fast! Too fast!" Alia laughed, her grip tightening instinctively.

"I thought you wanted fun," Noah teased, barely holding back his smirk.

By the ti the ride stopped, Emily hopped off with grace, while Alia stumbled out, looking like she'd just survived a hurricane.

"I can't feel my legs," Alia muttered, her face a mix of exhilaration and regret.

Noah stood tall and unaffected, brushing imaginary dust off his shirt. "I warned you."

Alia shot him a playful glare. "I'll get you back for this."

"Oh, I can't wait," Noah replied, his voice flat but his eyes amused.

Emily pointed to the haunted house next. "Let's go there! I want to see if it's actually scary."

Noah shrugged. "Sure."

Alia hesitated for a mont but followed along. Inside, the dim lighting and eerie music set the mood, and Emily marched ahead bravely, unbothered by the occasional skeleton jumping out of the walls.

Halfway through, a sudden animatronic ghoul popped out, accompanied by a loud screech.

"Screech!"

Alia yelped, instinctively grabbing Noah's arm.

Noah turned his head toward her, an eyebrow raised. "You okay?"

"Y-Yeah!" Alia quickly let go, her cheeks reddening. "It just startled , that's all."

"You sure?" Noah asked, his tone unreadable.

"I'm fine!" Alia insisted, though she made a point to stick a little closer to him for the rest of the walk-through.

At the exit, Emily declared, "That wasn't scary at all. We could live here."

"Speak for yourself," Alia muttered under her breath, still trying to calm her racing heart.

The trio stopped by a food stall, where Emily imdiately zeroed in on a massive stick of cotton candy. Alia ordered one as well, though hers was more modest in size. Noah stood with his arms crossed, watching as Emily's sugar-induced chaos began.

"Emily, don't—" Noah started, but it was too late. Emily had already stuck her face into the cotton candy, erging with sticky cheeks and a sugar-filled grin.

"Look, I'm a cloud!" she announced proudly.

Alia laughed, reaching into her bag for tissues. "Here, let help."

Your journey continues with empire

As Alia dabbed at Emily's face, Noah grabbed a piece of her cotton candy without asking, popping it into his mouth.

"Hey!" Alia said, mock-offended. "That's mine!"

"Finders keepers," Noah replied, unfazed.

Alia huffed, but her smile betrayed her amusent. "I'll get you back for this, too."

They decided to tackle the biggest roller coaster in the park next. Emily, despite her earlier confidence in the other rides, hesitated at the sight of the towering loops and steep drops.

But seeing Alia and Noah ready to board, she puffed out her chest and said, "I'm not scared. Let's do it."

Noah smirked. "You sure about that, Em?"

Emily nodded firmly, but her wide eyes betrayed her nerves.

As they boarded the ride, the attendant seated Emily between Noah and Alia, securing her harness snugly. She gripped the handlebar tightly, her small hands trembling.

The coaster began its slow climb up the steep track, the clicking sound of the chain heightening the tension. Emily turned to Alia, her voice shaky. "Is it going to be really fast?"

Alia smiled reassuringly, though her own excitent made her fidget. "A little, but it's fun! Just hold on tight, okay?"

Emily nodded but leaned closer to Alia, her earlier confidence rapidly dissolving.

Noah glanced at the two of them, his usual calm deanour unshaken. "You'll be fine, Emily. Just don't let go."

As they reached the peak, the park below seed to shrink, the colourful lights twinkling like stars. The coaster paused briefly, giving the riders a breathtaking view before plunging into a heart-stopping drop.

The ride surged forward, and Emily let out a scream, clutching Alia's arm as tightly as she could. "Alia! I'm gonna fly off!" she yelled, her face scrunched in terror.

Alia wrapped an arm around Emily protectively, but in doing so, she instinctively grabbed Noah's arm for extra support. "You're fine, Emily! I've got you!" she said, her voice a mix of laughter and reassurance.

Noah didn't flinch, though he raised an eyebrow at Alia's grip. "Having fun, you two?" he asked, his voice steady despite the roaring wind.

Alia shot him a quick glare. "Not everyone's a statue like you, Noah!"

The ride twisted into a series of loops, the world around them becoming a blur. Alia scread in exhilaration, while Emily buried her face into Alia's shoulder, clinging to her like a lifeline.

Noah sat beside them, his hands loosely gripping the safety bar, his expression one of mild amusent.

As the ride finally slowed down and ca to a halt, Emily was the first to speak. "Never again," she declared, her voice shaky but firm. "Never. Ever. Again."

Alia burst out laughing, still holding onto Emily. "You were so brave, Emily! You made it!"

Emily shook her head vehently. "Nope. I'm not brave. I'm alive, and that's good enough."

Noah chuckled softly, undoing his harness and ruffling Emily's hair. "You did better than most adults, you should be proud."

Alia, still catching her breath, turned to Noah. "You didn't even react, did you?"

Noah smirked, stepping out of the coaster. "Do I look like soone who screams?"

"You do," Alia teased, following him out. "I bet you scread in your head."

...

After their thrilling roller coaster ride, Emily spotted a vibrant spinning swing ride, where riders were strapped into chairs and lifted into the air as the swings spun in a wide circle, giving a thrilling yet breezy sensation. The brightly lit ride glimred under the evening sky, catching her attention imdiately.

"Let's do that one!" Emily pointed enthusiastically, her eyes lighting up.

Alia clapped her hands. "Oh, I love those rides! Let's go."

Noah raised a brow but nodded. "Alright, but rember, hold on tight."

The trio queued up and soon found themselves being strapped into their seats. Emily was placed in a chair on one side, while Noah and Alia were seated in neighboring swings directly opposite hers.

The ride started smoothly, the swings lifting into the air and spinning faster as the music played. Emily's laughter echoed in the air, mixing with Alia's joyful squeals. Noah leaned back, seemingly relaxed, though his eyes stayed on Emily.

As the ride picked up speed, a sudden jarring sound cut through the music. One of the chains holding Emily's swing snapped with a loud clang, leaving her swing wobbling dangerously.

"Emily!" Alia scread, her swing twisting in panic.

Noah's sharp eyes locked on the malfunction instantly. His calm expression vanished as he spotted Emily gripping the edges of her chair, terror plastered across her face.

The crowd below gasped, so shouting at the operator, who was frantically trying to stop the ride. But it was clear the ergency brakes wouldn't activate in ti.

Without hesitation, Noah moved. Using the montum of the spinning ride, he swung himself out of his chair, grabbing hold of the tal bar connecting the swings.

The crowd below erupted in chaos, their voices overlapping as they watched the scene unfold in stunned disbelief.

"Oh my god! Is that guy climbing the ride?!" a man near the front shouted, his jaw practically on the ground.

"That's insane! He's moving like Spider-Man or sothing!" another added, pointing upward as Noah swung himself with incredible precision.

A woman clasped her hands over her mouth, her voice muffled. "He's going to fall! Soone stop him!"

"Hold on, Emily!" he shouted, his voice cutting through the chaos.

Emily's swing wobbled precariously, one side hanging by a single chain. Tears stread down her face as she gripped the seat tightly. "Big brother! I'm scared!"

"I'm coming!" Noah said, his tone firm and unwavering.

Reaching Emily's swing, Noah extended his arm, grabbing the chain and stabilizing the swing with sheer strength. His muscles flexed as he used his other hand to pull Emily into his grasp.

"Hold onto ," he said, his voice softer now but no less commanding.

Emily obeyed instantly, wrapping her arms around his neck as he secured her safely. With a powerful kick, Noah swung himself and Emily back toward the central pole, grabbing onto it and descending with the agility of a parkour expert.

When his feet touched the ground, cheers and applause erupted from the crowd, though Noah barely acknowledged them. His focus was entirely on Emily, who was clutching him tightly, sobbing softly into his chest.

"It's okay now," he said, crouching down and brushing her hair out of her face. "You're safe."

Alia ran to them, her face pale with worry. She knelt beside Emily, pulling her into a tight hug. "Oh, Emily! Are you alright?"

Emily sniffled but nodded, her tears slowing. "Big brother saved …"

Alia turned her wide eyes to Noah, who stood up and stretched his arms like nothing had happened. "You… you just climbed up that spinning ride like it was a staircase. How is that even possible?"

Noah shrugged. "It wasn't spinning that fast."

Alia gawked. "Not that fast? Noah, you were twenty feet in the air on a malfunctioning ride!"

Emily wiped her tears and looked up at him with awe. "You're like Superman, big brother."

Noah chuckled softly, ruffling her hair. "I'll take that as a complint."

The ride operator rushed over, looking pale and frantic. "I'm so sorry! I don't know what happened—this ride has been running fine all day! I'll shut it down imdiately."
