Lukas got out of the elevator with the manager. There was already a taxi waiting for him. The manager walked ahead and opened the door for Lukas.
The taxi driver looked professional and very serious about his work. Lukas sat inside and nodded his head at the manager and said, " I don’t think I will use the services for free, that’s not my style. I will pay for the services, so thank him, the chairman, for and cash the check. When you need another check, just tell ."
The manager smiled at Lukas, then nodded his head, then walked towards the driver and said, " Take him to the airport, don’t stop until you reach there, don’t stop for anyone." Then he tapped on the door two tis and left with a smile on his face.
The driver, nodding his head, first ca down and locked all the doors of the taxi, as this car was manual, then he personally rolled back the windows for Lukas and turned on the AC.
The drive was smooth, the taxi went to the airport without any problems at all. There was also no traffic, unlike yesterday.
" Take to the Atlantic Aviation," Lukas said, as he can’t just go in and search for it personally.
" Sir, I don’t know where it is," the driver said. He then slowed down and looked back at Lukas.
" Ask soone, I don’t know where it is either," Lukas said, then pointed at the airport security.
" Alright, wait a bit." The driver went outside and after a while returned and started the car.
"It’s a little south from here." The driver, saying this, started the car and drove ahead.
Lukas looked at his watch for the ti, and seeing it was almost 10.20, he sighed. He didn’t know if the plane would wait for him a bit.
Soon Lukas saw the gates of Atlantic Aviation. It was a narrow gate with only a one-way road. The taxi pulled up to the gate, but the gate was closed.
Seeing that no one was around, Lukas opened the door and stepped up to the driver’s side.
The taxi driver rolled down his window. He looked at Lukas curiously. Lukas removed his scarf a little, as he was not accustod to hiding his face.
"You!! You’re Lukas." The driver exclaid he was certain there was a celebrity in his car, but who was it? He didn’t dare to ask or know.
" Well, that I am. Do I need to pay, or did the hotel pay you?" Lukas asked if he had a credit card, and although there was cash in the system interface, he couldn’t retrieve it.
" N... No, I am a driver from the hotel, so you don’t need to pay . Driver Scad, his hand was quivering.
" Very good." Lukas smiled and patted his shoulder, then walked to the gate. There was a security booth right beside it.
As Lukas approached while his face was covered, a woman and a man with airport security uniforms ca out, they were looking at the hulking Lukas.
The security guards were standing on a one-foot-high platform, but they were still kind of looking up to see Lukas properly.
" Sir, this is a private airport service. We would need an ID to get you or any vehicle pass here." The male security guard said with respect because he could feel this was no common man.
Lukas smiled and then removed his scarf. His smile was radiating, and the security guards instantly understood who he was.
" The plane leaves in five minutes. Please hurry, sir." The security guard said and pressed the open button rapidly to open the gates for Lukas.
Lukas, hearing he only has five minutes, ran as soon as he did. He understood one thing: his running speed was very fast now because he has taller legs compared to before.
Entering the tarmac, he saw there were two or three hangars in there, and only one was open. There were cars beside the hangars, and a plane was moving slowly out of it.
Lukas ran to the hangar, and as soon as he did, the people inside the hangar looked at him a little weirdly.
" Sir, were you assigned to this plane?" A person wearing a classy suit approached Lukas and asked.
" I don’t know which plane I was assigned to," Lukas replied. Although his breath was a little heavy after running at his full speed, he still looked around for more planes.
" Sir, the Gulfstream of the player’s already left an hour ago, so this is the last plane that is going to Florida." The suited guy said to Lukas and then gestured his hand toward the employees to continue their work as they were staring at Lukas.
" I woke up late, I’ll go with this plane if you don’t mind," Lukas said, then tapped on the guy’s shoulder two tis with a friendly smile on his face.
" Alright, sir, But let warn you, this thing is not as luxurious as your regular Gulfstream. The suit guy said this left, and as his face turned from Lukas, he smiled because this was also a test for Lukas’s character. The team manager put it up for him.
Guess this boy is a nice and humble person after all.
Lukas, entering the plane, sat in a corner because he was intruding or taking soone else’s space, so he had to be respectful and mind his manners.
" Sir, Will you please co with ? The suit-wearing guy ca in from outside. As it was a private hangar, the plane’s door was open for all to co out and go.
" Yes, MR.?" Lukas asked for the na of the guy out of politeness.
"You can call Karl, you don’t have to sit there. This is your seat, and the pilot says you can visit and sit in the cockpit any ti," Karl said with a smile and then pointed at a seat that had very big legroom. As Lukas was a tall person, he needed extra legroom on a flight.
