UK:GSW Chapter 396 – Tamamo-no-Mae's Creative Ambition, the Shinobi World Network, and the Completion of the Shinobi World Monitoring System
Seeing that Tamamo-no-Mae had actually thrown herself into ga creation, Uchiha Kei thought for a mont, then straightforwardly approached her. He told her that if she was truly interested in ga developnt, he could open the full ga creation platform to her.
After all, over all this ti, the main world's Nine-Tails' "fallen maiden" transformation had been completely unexpected to everyone, but she had indeed beco "their fox." She knew everything she needed to know, and having her join the ga developnt effort could only be a good thing.
In fact, the only reason Kei had never considered inviting Tamamo-no-Mae before was that she'd never shown any intention of creating gas—she had simply been an internet-addicted fox who was obsessed with Genjutsu Gas and cosplay.
Now that she had displayed a genuine interest, Kei naturally didn't mind adding another strong mber to the Genjutsu Ga endeavor.
However, Tamamo-no-Mae refused.
It wasn't a flat refusal to use Kei's platform. Rather, she explained that this event was just practice for her, and she didn't plan to create an entire ga alone. Instead, she would invite others to join her and form a team. If the cooperation went well, she intended to use that team as a foundation to beco a true ga developnt group in the future.
This idea stemd from Kei's earlier remarks about his long-term vision for the ninja world's gaming industry—how more and more people would eventually join in creating gas.
Back then, Tamamo-no-Mae had said nothing, but she rembered it. As she continued playing Genjutsu Gas, the desire to make her own grew stronger.
Now, with the Shinobi World War map editor contest underway—and Kei having openly stated that its hidden purpose was to encourage players to step into creation—she saw this as her chance. Those who excelled would be granted access to the real ga developnt platform.
It was this combination of circumstances and her own ambition that made her decide to take part.
Hearing her plan, Kei was surprised, but very pleased. It gave him the feeling of "I am not alone in my path."
Having soone truly capable join the Genjutsu Ga cause filled him with high expectations for its brilliant future.
After all, what Kei wanted was the kind of gaming environnt his Earth had once had—countless AAA titles and a constant stream of creative works.
So, Kei did what he could to support her. For example, when Tamamo-no-Mae needed partners, he used his authority to find skilled players who had creative drive but didn't want to work alone, then recomnded her project to them. Those who agreed were introduced to her.
So of these people already knew who she was—and when they learned that the legendary Tamamo-no-Mae herself was making a new ga, they reacted like fanatics eting their goddess. They practically ca running with their own lunchboxes, ready to devote everything to her.
It couldn't be helped. Tamamo-no-Mae was now a celebrity in the Genjutsu Ga community, with a massive fanbase and many devoted followers.
Her flawless appearance, her distinctive Nine-Tailed form, and her otherworldly aura captivated countless people—of both genders.
As a result, her "simps" charged forward without hesitation, and even those who hadn't known her before were quickly chard by her ani-like beauty and poise. They threw themselves into the work, vowing to help her create the ga map she envisioned.
Thus, Tamamo-no-Mae's ten-person team was swiftly assembled, marking the official start of their ga developnt journey.
Kei nodded in satisfaction at the sight, then turned his attention elsewhere—quickly spotting new points of interest.
One was Minato's three students. Unlike Tamamo-no-Mae, they simply wanted to make a new map with a clear goal: place well in the competition and win prizes. Their youthful competitiveness blazed with the spirit of "We're going to win!"
They even pulled Nawaki into their group to form a new four-person squad.
Originally, they had wanted to invite Might Guy as well, but he was off training with Might Duy again, so he wouldn't be participating this ti.
Still, given Guy's current training intensity—and the "gar diet" al plan from Kei's system—it might not take many years for him to reach, and even surpass, the peak he had in the original story when fighting Uchiha Madara.
In the future, with Kei's Mangekyō abilities supporting him, Guy might even be able to open the Eight Gates without limit. And with his father Duy also on a second rise to power under Kei's guidance, the day might co when both opened the Eight Gates at the sa ti to beat down an Ōtsutsuki invader.
Just imagining the scene gave Kei goosebumps.
Of course, that was just a dream for now—it would take years to truly realize.
Still, it could be made real imdiately if they wanted. After all, the "Second World" Konoha was actively cooperating with the main world Konoha. If the main world requested that the Second World's grown-up Might Guy co to help, there'd be no refusal.
In that case, Guy and Duy together, with Kei's Mangekyō powers, could even kick a revived Six Paths Madara to death.
Strength beyond words!
Aside from Minato's group, Kei also spotted another trio entering the contest—one with a very complicated dynamic.
It was Uchiha Madara, Senju Hashirama, and Uzumaki Mito—though under their pseudonyms "Radama," "Muzi," and "Uzumaki Kenshin."
Originally, Radama and Muzi had their own two-person world, but Kenshin's strong entry turned it into a three-way situation, leaving Muzi feeling like he was in the middle of a love triangle.
Radama and Kenshin couldn't stand each other and both had the urge to obliterate the other, but out of consideration for Muzi, neither made a real move.
Of course, "Uzumaki Kenshin" was deliberately stirring trouble—taking great pleasure in provoking Radama and watching him seethe in frustration.
The result? Pure shōjo-drama chaos.
Muzi struggled daily to keep the peace, wearing himself out emotionally. But this was the bed he had made.
This contest was actually Muzi's idea—he thought a collaborative project might distract the "two n" from their rivalry.
Unfortunately, he had misunderstood the real cause of their animosity. So while they were building the contest map, they inevitably fell into constant argunts—Radama wanted sothing grand and sweeping, Kenshin wanted fine detail and nuance. They traded insults, each thinking the other a complete idiot.
Caught in the middle, Muzi nearly lost his mind—especially when the two would demand that he choose whose idea was best.
It was pure agony.
If anyone said that Hashirama's alter ego "Muzi" was living in a constant battlefield of love and hate, they'd be 100% correct.
Kei found the whole thing hilarious. He secretly set his system to record it daily, planning to edit the footage later into a compilation for his personal amusent.
Aside from these familiar faces, many other people from Konoha—and even beyond—joined the competition, hoping to make their mark.
The event was still in its early days, with a long way to go before results ca in.
In the anti, Orochimaru's group unveiled a new research breakthrough.
They had fully analyzed the Sky Ninja Village's legacy, dismantled part of the floating Sky Castle, and linked the Zero-Tails' power with the Nine-Tails to spread the Genjutsu Network.
The castle's flight capability ca from the Zero-Tails' ability to infect materials with a special floating property. By infusing certain components with these materials, flight was possible—but sustained flight required ongoing power from the Zero-Tails or another energy source.
That had been impossible for the Sky Ninja Village, but for the likes of Orochimaru—ninja world geniuses—it was simple. Using existing data and their vast knowledge, they connected this tech to the Genjutsu Network.
With the Zero-Tails' properties, they could transmit energy wirelessly, combined with Flying Thunder God markers to maintain the floating platforms.
Thus, the ninja world's version of floating base stations was born.
These platforms—just three square ters each—were launched high into the clouds, out of lightning's reach and out of sight. They linked the Genjutsu Network for wide-area chakra transmission and signal maintenance, and they were equipped with nurous caras.
The result: a ninja world surveillance system akin to military spy satellites.
In other words, the ninja world's "Starlink" system was complete—at a shockingly low cost, since they simply repurposed pieces of the Sky Castle.
It was like suddenly turning on full-map vision in a ga. As the Genjutsu Network's supre controller, Kei could now see nearly every part of the main world, including the distant Land of Water.
The effect astonished him so much that he imdiately shared it with others, sparking gasps and awe.
No one had expected Orochimaru's team to produce sothing so revolutionary. In the ninja world, "map hacks" were beyond futuristic—they were a complete paradigm shift.
Even on Earth, before the completion of real satellite systems, such an idea was science fiction—sothing many first encountered in Command & Conquer: Red Alert back in the 1990s.
And the real experience was another level entirely. Linking all the floating stations' cara feeds into a single full-world display was breathtaking.
Standing at the summit, I see all beneath .
That was Kei's first thought. Beside him, the great "artist" Jiraiya broke into a poetry recital—though in his own nation's style, and nowhere near as grand as the verses Kei knew.
