UK:GSW Chapter 390 – Sasuke: Yes, This Is the Trial Uncle Kei Has Given !
"What? Sasuke invited us to another world to deal with a force called the Hidden Sky Village, and that force intends to harm the Hidden Leaf in that world? Alright! I'm going right now! Protecting the great Hidden Leaf is my duty!"
"Huh? An invitation from Sasuke? Sure, sure, sure! I'm coming right away!"
Naruto and Haruno Sakura were both quite surprised, followed by a surge of excitent, agreeing without a mont's hesitation.
For the two of them, being able to act alongside Sasuke was a chance to relive the beauty of the old days—and to chase the youth they'd lost.
Although they'd already had a team-building outing before, and even grouped up in the illusion ga, that had only been in-ga. For the three of them, teaming up in the real world was true happiness.
As for the New Team 7's mber Sai—he had already withdrawn from the New Team 7.
Not because he didn't want to be with Naruto, but because after Root was completely disbanded, soone had to manage what was left behind. Sai, once a mber of Root and now a die-hard pro-Hokage faction supporter, was dragged off to do the grunt work.
Now, Sai was busy every day, only occasionally able to grab a bowl of ran with Naruto and the others, with no extra ti. You could say he had fully transford into a workhorse, living in a completely different world from Naruto and the others, who still had plenty of personal ti.
When the Fifth Hokage Tsunade of World No. 2 learned that Naruto and Sakura would be going to the main world for a mission, she didn't refuse—in fact, she actively helped make it happen.
After all, the more they cooperated, the more clearly they could see the prosperity and power of the main world's Hidden Leaf. Ever since World No. 2's Hidden Leaf beca the distributor for the illusion ga, they had gained huge profits and learned much from the main world.
Especially after Minato Namikaze, based on his ideas for the future transformation of the ninja world, shared a wealth of information and intelligence with the World No. 2 Hidden Leaf leadership as a gesture of goodwill, Tsunade and her team were shocked and took it very seriously.
Later, Tsunade also spoke with the Senju brothers from the main world. Although Tobirama Senju didn't like Uchiha Kei, he still acknowledged the reforms Uchiha Kei had initiated in the main world's Hidden Leaf, saying this was the true path to peace and prosperity for both the Hidden Leaf and the entire ninja world—not the false prosperity and peace of the past.
After all, Tobirama had studied in the learning space, so he deeply understood what true modernization and prosperity looked like. What he saw there had left him shaken to the core, leading him to deeply question and despise the current ninja world and village system.
If not for his position being unsuitable—and the main world's Hidden Leaf not yet being ready—Tobirama would have pushed the village to reform the ninja world imdiately.
For soone like Tobirama, not having seen the light before was one thing, but after seeing it, there was no way he could tolerate the darkness.
Hashirama Senju felt much the sa. Although he hadn't entered the learning space, in the six months since his revival, he had witnessed much. He was extrely satisfied with the prosperity of the current Hidden Leaf.
In his exchanges with Uchiha Kei and Minato Namikaze—two exceptional juniors—their forward-thinking ideas and Minato's determination to reform the entire ninja world had had a huge impact on him, changing his once overly soft views.
The main reason was that Hashirama had seen the Second and Third Great Ninja Wars unfold after his death. Upon learning about the situation of World No. 2 and the tragedies of the Third War, he grew even more convinced of Uchiha Kei's and Minato's vision.
Now, Hashirama's thinking was simple: even if he couldn't help Uchiha Kei and Minato, at the very least he wouldn't cause trouble for them, and he would do his best to hold back his best friend Madara, keeping him from continuing down the wrong path.
In truth, if the ti were right and they had absolute proof of the Eye of the Moon Plan, it would still be extrely difficult—virtually impossible—to talk Madara around.
That's why Uchiha Kei had planned to capture Black Zetsu: to obtain definitive evidence to persuade Madara.
Of course, that was only one plan—an alternate one.
At this point, with the forces Uchiha Kei could mobilize, even if Madara insisted on going all the way to the end, he could be killed outright—no longer the untouchable opponent of the past.
Not to ntion, Hashirama alone could crush him; just summoning his heroic spirit in physical form would be enough to pound the current Madara into the ground.
The only reason they hadn't done so was partly Uchiha Kei's sense of mischief, and partly Hashirama's desire to persuade his best friend rather than subdue him by force.
If given the choice, Hashirama still wanted to appeal to his friend.
In short, Hashirama's greatest wish now was for this life to continue as it was, for his best friend to realize the truth, and for him to be a good man again. As for the main world's Hidden Leaf, his satisfaction was at its peak; nothing needed changing.
Thus, with the two grandfathers' approval and the reality of the main world's strong developnt, Tsunade of World No. 2 believed her village also needed reform—otherwise, they would inevitably be left far behind.
Even knowing that World No. 2's Hidden Leaf could never catch up to the main world's, she felt that since they were both Hidden Leafs, they couldn't beco two completely different worlds.
Even if destined to lag behind, they should at least try to keep up—becoming a major city that could still be ranked behind the main world's Hidden Leaf.
With that in mind, Tsunade naturally wanted to deepen cooperation with the main world's Hidden Leaf. Her team wanted this too, including Kakashi Hatake, the prospective Sixth Hokage.
So Tsunade fully supported Naruto and Sakura's mission to the main world. If they had needed more help, she would gladly have sent more people.
Why? Because only by contributing could they receive in return. In every way, World No. 2's Hidden Leaf was no match for the main world's. If they wanted its support, they had to provide value in return, beyond just a foundation of friendship.
And so, Naruto and Sakura arrived once again in the main world.
There, they t Uchiha Sasuke, already fully prepared.
Only, seeing Sasuke's situation made them pause—because he wasn't alone.
There were the three mbers of Team Snake, plus several other Uchiha and Hyuga, as well as other ninja.
Clearly, although Uchiha Kei had assigned the Hidden Sky Village mission to Sasuke, he wouldn't actually send him off with just a reford Team 7. After all, the mission wasn't just to destroy the Hidden Sky Village—it was also to bring back all of its assets.
In such a case, three people weren't enough—even with Naruto's Shadow Clone Jutsu, now at a highly advanced level.
Thus, the necessary support personnel couldn't be left out. The people with Sasuke were tasked with these responsibilities.
In a sense, they were also part of a test—a test of Sasuke's leadership skills.
At least, that's what the Uchiha with Sasuke said. They claid this was clearly Lord Kei's deeper aning, as his arrangents always had purpose and hidden intent.
They even brought out a self-compiled Tales of the Great Uchiha Sage to help Sasuke better understand Lord Kei's great thinking and contribute more to the Uchiha clan and the Hidden Leaf.
The Uchiha stated that although Sasuke ca from outside their village's Uchiha, he was soone Lord Kei valued highly. He clearly had great potential, and since Lord Kei had personally arranged everything and gathered the personnel, this mission was not just a mission—it was also a test, a trial!
In this mission, Sasuke couldn't just complete the task—he had to display his own command talent.
They insisted that since Lord Kei had set it up this way, it ant Sasuke must have the talent for command!
Hearing this and seeing the situation, Sasuke fell into thought—and found it made perfect sense.
While studying under Orochimaru, Sasuke had indeed been taught related skills, but back then he only cared about revenge and ignored command training entirely.
After defeating Orochimaru and taking everything from him, Sasuke could have inherited his forces. At that point, he would have had a fairly capable faction. But as everyone knew, he simply disbanded it and ford Team Snake, with no thought for command.
You could say Sasuke had the talent for leadership, but had never developed or used it—it just sat there, unspent.
Even by the Boruto era in the original, Sasuke was still operating in lone-wolf mode—at most cooperating with Naruto, or taking Boruto or a few others on a mission. There was no sign of command ability.
But now, things were different. Having completed the capture and judgnt of the guilty, beginning a new life, and even having studied in Gotham City, Sasuke now truly possessed the ability to lead.
He had even had a place to train it—the illusion ga Ninja World War was a strategy ga, and its uncut, realistic version closely resembled real warfare. As an insider, Sasuke could play the most realistic version.
With the learning space that could adjust ti, Sasuke's command skills had been greatly developed and refined. In gaming terms, that talent tree was now lit up.
Because of that, Sasuke believed the Uchiha were right—Uncle Kei truly had this deeper intent, and valued him greatly.
Otherwise, why make him a commander like Batman? Why put him in the learning space? All of it showed Uncle Kei's expectation and care for him!
Thinking this, Sasuke was both excited and under great pressure.
Having received such imnse kindness from Uncle Kei, Sasuke now truly saw him as a real uncle—one of the few people who sincerely cared for him. While a bit eccentric and a prankster, everything he'd done for Sasuke had been for his benefit. Unlike Orochimaru, who lusted after his young body, Uncle Kei neither wanted his body nor coveted his power—he had even given Sasuke the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan, reunited him with his parents, and given him a second, loving family.
All of this made Sasuke feel his life was now perfect—sothing he could only have dread of before.
So Sasuke didn't want to disappoint Uncle Kei. Accepting his first task from him, he swore to complete it perfectly.
That ant leading the special operations unit well, ideally with zero casualties, bringing everyone back intact for the perfect result.
But achieving that would not be easy.
He could, of course, simply wade in personally, using his Eternal Mangekyo to unleash a Complete-Body Susanoo. Against that godlike power, the re Sky-nin would be wiped out in a single strike.
But if it were that simple, would Uncle Kei have sent so many people?
And would such a lone-wolf act show his leadership?
Of course not.
The answer was obvious—while Uncle Kei told him to handle it, everything was ant to test him!
This was a blank test paper. How well it was filled out would depend entirely on him.
Pressure—there it was.
Sasuke began thinking about what to do, recalling everything Uncle Kei had said before.
Then, he suddenly realized—and turned his gaze to his two childhood friends.
"That's it. When Uncle Kei gave the mission, he deliberately ntioned Naruto and Sakura. So he was actually hinting that I should discuss these matters with them."
"But… do Naruto and Sakura have that kind of ability?"
Sasuke doubted it. In his mory, Sakura was lovestruck and Naruto was impulsive—not exactly commander or advisor material.
Still, as the Uchiha had said, Uncle Kei must have had a reason. So Sasuke told the two his thoughts and concerns.
After hearing all the intel, Sakura and Naruto exchanged surprised looks, then both fell into thought. Soon, Naruto spoke up with his suggestions and opinions.
And as soon as he started, Sasuke was shocked.
The grown-up Naruto had jumped from "background civilian" level leadership to "general" level. He covered possible scenarios, details, and displayed a talent for grasping the bigger picture and serving as an excellent advisor.
The sight made Sasuke's eyes widen—almost enough to pop out his Mangekyo Sharingan. Clearly, he was startled by Naruto's performance.
He was just short of shouting, "This isn't the Naruto I know—who the hell are you?!"
After all, Sasuke rembered all too well what Naruto used to be like—even just a few months ago, when they t again after three years at Orochimaru's base, Naruto had still been that impulsive, not-too-bright guy.
Yet now, in such a short ti, he seed like a completely different person—it was enough to make Sasuke feel like he was witnessing a myth co to life.
