UK:GSW Chapter 384 – Uchiha Kei: Fugaku, Your Family's Education Has Serious Problems, So Your Right to Educate Has Been Revoked

"Why? Why would it turn out like this? Why would Itachi do sothing so utterly insane?"

Uchiha Mikoto was filled with grief as she held the infant Itachi in her arms, looking down at her elder son with nothing but pain in her eyes.

At the sa ti, Uchiha Masanobu and Uchiha Fugaku were both looking at the young Itachi with complicated expressions. They could not believe that this still-so-adorable baby would, in the future, commit such a monstrous act.

Even if, in the other world, the Uchiha clan's conflict with the Hidden Leaf had beco irreconcilable, and the clan had resolved to stage a coup, Itachi siding with the clan should not have ant solving the problem by annihilating the entire Uchiha.

After all, among the Uchiha clan's many mbers, not everyone was a hawk, and not everyone would participate in the coup. Most of them wouldn't even know about it. Why kill all of them?

The Uchiha clan was one of the Hidden Leaf's founding clans!

They could neither understand nor accept it. Thus, both Masanobu and Fugaku now looked at Itachi in a completely different way.

A faint killing intent even began to form—knowing that this boy would commit such a heinous act in the future made both n think of killing him here and now, lest he grow up to bring disaster to the Uchiha.

Don't talk about "even a tiger doesn't eat its cubs"—both were not just a grandfather and father, but the clan head and future clan head of the Uchiha. They had a responsibility to the clan.

Especially since both had awakened the Mangekyo Sharingan, which inevitably gave their personalities an extre edge, it wasn't surprising for such thoughts to arise.

Of course, it was only a thought. When it ca down to actually acting, they would probably hesitate.

However, Uchiha Kei wouldn't allow this family to dwell on the matter, so he imdiately waved his hand and said:

"Don't go thinking Itachi was born bad, sent here just to destroy the Uchiha. The reason he did sothing so extre was because the experiences he went through growing up in the other world, combined with the clan's situation, drove the Mangekyo-wielding him to extres."

"If we're being honest, Fugaku-senpai, in that other world, the reason Itachi beca that worse-than-a-beast person is mostly your fault."

Instantly, Mikoto and Masanobu turned their eyes toward Fugaku. Fugaku looked shocked and asked, confused:

"Why? Could it be… that the other neglected Itachi, failing to care for and raise him properly? Or that after Sasuke was born, the other shifted my attention to him, and Itachi's jealousy twisted his mind?"

Uchiha Kei shook his head:

"Nope. In that other world, you cared for Itachi with everything you had, grooming him as your successor, pouring trendous effort into him—so much so that young Sasuke often felt neglected and was quite upset about it."

Fugaku: "Then why would he—"

Uchiha Kei spread his hands:

"It's precisely because you poured so much into Itachi, Fugaku-senpai, that your approach was too extre. Honestly, I have no idea what you were thinking—why would you take a four-year-old, who in our world would still be in kindergarten, onto the battlefield and show him piles of corpses? Then, while he's terrified, confused, and unsettled, you tell him 'I believe you can understand on your own.'"

"I know you wanted Itachi to understand the aning of life and death early, but leaving that for a four-year-old to figure out alone—isn't that absurd? Did Masanobu-sama teach you that way when you were young?"

Masanobu imdiately said, angrily:

"Of course not! How could I do sothing so foolish? I also had high hopes for Fugaku and wanted him to understand life and death early, but I only let him see such things when he was eight years old—and I personally guided and explained it to him, to make sure he didn't get the wrong idea!"

As he spoke, he turned to glare at Fugaku:

"Fugaku, have you lost your mind? Itachi is only a child, and you let him see corpses on a battlefield, then told him to figure out the aning of life and death by himself? Were you trying to give him childhood nightmares?"

Mikoto hugged the baby Itachi tighter, saying nothing, but her gaze toward Fugaku had changed—now filled with deep sadness and anger. If she weren't holding the baby, her fists might have already clenched.

At this point, Fugaku was drenched in sweat. He hurriedly defended himself:

"N-no, Father, I'd never think of doing such a thing! While I'd have high hopes for Itachi and want him to learn early, I'd never take him to a battlefield at four years old and make him think about such philosophical issues on his own. I would guide him the way you guided !"

"The other was far too extre—there's no way I'd ever do that!"

That was the truth—he did think the other him was too extre. Even if his son was a prodigy and he had high expectations for him, he would still wait until Itachi was older—say, six years old—before doing anything similar.

Yes… basically the sa old pattern. A leopard can't change its spots.

In Uchiha Kei's opinion, Masanobu wasn't much better—letting an eight-year-old confront such things was still far too much. No wonder Fugaku, in the original story, was such a hesitant and peculiar man—choosing to be neither hawk nor dove, but simply to wait for death.

So, Uchiha Kei shook his head and said seriously:

"Fugaku, promise —stop with this kind of education. Just stick to the basics with little Itachi. As for ideals and beliefs, leave those to . Honestly, your whole family's education thods are problematic. If I leave it to you, I'm afraid we'll end up with another rebellious Itachi."

This left all three of them awkward and speechless. They wanted to argue, but the one speaking was the great Uchiha Sage, whose wisdom was unmatched. If he said there was a big problem, then there was a big problem—they would have to reflect on it.

After all, the Uchiha clan now stood as a chosen clan with an unprecedentedly bright future, and the man who had built it held unmatched authority.

Also, the fate of the other world's Uchiha clan was terrifying enough to make Fugaku's family fear a repeat. While such a disaster was impossible with the clan's current relationship with the Leaf, there was no harm in preventing even a one-in-ten-thousand chance.

In the end, with Masanobu slapping the table and Mikoto's support, the unable-to-refute Fugaku could only dejectedly hand over his son's education rights.

After this interlude, Uchiha Kei sent a ssage on WeChat, and soon after, Uchiha Sasuke was quietly brought over.

The seventeen-year-old wanderer finally saw his parents again.

Although he had seen them from afar before, that had only been from a distance, without approaching. This ti was a true face-to-face eting.

Sasuke felt that compared to the parents in his mory, the ones before him were much younger. They lacked the oppressive air that had co from the Uchiha's tense relationship with the Leaf in his world—his father had no overwhelming authority, and his mother's maternal presence was softer. When they saw him, they even showed obvious nervousness and uncertainty, as if they didn't know how to talk to him.

After all, suddenly having such a grown son, when they had only just beco parents, truly left them unsure of what to do.

Standing nearby was another older Uchiha, full of dignity but with a gentle air, looking at him with clear warmth.

Sasuke knew why—this was his grandfather, Uchiha Masanobu, the forr clan head, whom he had never t but had heard of from his parents.

So, he sat upright, bowed slightly to the three of them, and said softly:

"Nice to et you, Grandfather, Father, Mother. I'm very glad to see you again."

As Sasuke spoke, Uchiha Kei quietly left, leaving the family to themselves.

He figured they must have much to talk about—and Sasuke's sense of belonging to the clan would surely be fully ignited after this exchange.

Not long after, Masanobu announced that he had adopted an adopted grandson—a Uchiha who had lived away from the clan—nad Uchiha Sasuke. Fugaku, as the young clan head, also announced that Uchiha Sasuke was his adopted son. From then on, the clan was to treat Sasuke as the adopted young clan head, the son of the future clan leader.

Although Fugaku being thirty years old and suddenly having a seventeen-year-old adopted son was strange, since Masanobu had announced it first, it was understood as Fugaku supporting his father's decision.

This was a major event. Given the Uchiha clan's current influence, the clan head adopting a grandson was noteworthy indeed. Masanobu even announced a formal adoption ceremony to confirm it, and Sasuke would enjoy the highest level of treatnt.

In fact, if Sasuke hadn't refused, he could have even inherited the position of clan head after Fugaku.

Of course, this also ant that if Fugaku and Mikoto had a second child, they wouldn't na him Sasuke.

This was natural—even without the current Sasuke, they wouldn't na a second son that. The original choice had been a gesture to ease relations with the Leaf by naming him after the Third Hokage's father, Sarutobi Sasuke.

Given the clan's current standing and close alliance with the Leaf, Fugaku had no need for such appeasent and could choose any na he wished.

He was even already considering what to na their second son.

Uchiha Kei, however, thought Fugaku was getting ahead of himself—this second child probably wouldn't have much to do with Sasuke, and might not even be a boy.

After all, Sasuke was Sasuke because he was the reincarnation of Indra's chakra. With Uchiha Madara still alive, healthy, and likely to remain so for a long ti, it was very possible that by the ti Fugaku's second child entered the academy, Madara would still be alive.

In such a case, the child's gender would be determined purely by genetics—if it was two X chromosos, then the main world's "Sasuke" would lose his little brother.

Hmm… an amusing thought.

In any case, Sasuke's formal inclusion in the main world's Uchiha clan was thus settled. While it caused so ripples, it didn't stir any unrest among the Leaf's leadership.

After all, most of the current decision-makers in the Leaf knew the truth, and they welcod this situation—it ant the Leaf had gained another Mangekyo Sharingan user.

What's more, Sasuke might beco soone with the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan like Uchiha Madara, since his brother, Uchiha Itachi, also had the Mangekyo. And Itachi had been captured—and regardless of his burdens, grudges, or reasons, he had to die.

The Uchiha massacre could not be forgiven.

While the truth of the massacre would not be widely publicized, the fact itself could not be hidden. As exchanges between the two worlds increased, and with limited disclosure about the cross-world travel, the Uchiha—being a key force—would inevitably learn the truth. At that point, the massacre could no longer be concealed.

Under such circumstances, soone had to be held responsible—and Itachi's role in it was an indisputable fact. Therefore, he had to die.

Once Itachi died, his Mangekyo would not be wasted—Uchiha Kei still needed Sasuke to grow stronger, so, as in the original work, using Itachi's Mangekyo to upgrade to the Eternal Mangekyo was inevitable.

In short, with the ninja worlds now connected and the main world's Uchiha enjoying unmatched prestige, Itachi's death was inevitable—no one could save him. Not even Fugaku's family's reluctance would change that.

Itachi's death was a foregone conclusion.

Of course, while his death was certain, the timing had to be postponed.

Before that, Shimura Danzo would be tried first.

The trial would take place in the No. 2 world's Hidden Leaf, as an internal act of justice from their perspective.

The main world would send representatives from the ambassador delegation to participate. Uchiha Sasuke, as the last Uchiha of his world, would attend the trial of his enemy—as an observer.
