UK:GSW Chapter 365 – Uzumaki Mito: What's Going On, Uchiha Madara?
"So, you were the one who revived ? Is this Tobirama's Impure World Reincarnation? No… this feeling is completely different from that sinister technique, and this youthful, vibrant state—this is exactly like being truly back in my thirties."
"What exactly is going on, Kei-kun?"
Uzumaki Mito's voice was gentle and kind as she asked Uchiha Kei. Although she didn't really know him well—only having t him before—she had addressed him as "Kei-kun" back then, treating him in the manner of an elder to a junior.
Of course, it wasn't as if Uchiha Kei had a particularly close relationship with her. They had only t twice in total, leaving Kei with a favorable impression—at most, she was simply an elder he found worth treating with kindness.
Otherwise, Uchiha Kei would have revived Uzumaki Mito long ago instead of placing her so far back in the queue.
Uchiha Kei then explained to the puzzled Uzumaki Mito about the Heroic Spirit transformation.
Upon learning of it, Uzumaki Mito looked enlightened. After a mont's thought, she asked, "Then, Kei-kun, besides , there must be others you've revived, right? If it's not troubleso for you, could you tell ?"
Kei nodded, indicating there was no problem—there was no need to hide this.
When she learned that three mbers of the Senju clan had been revived, along with the late White Fang of the Hidden Leaf, Uzumaki Mito's eyes widened slightly, her emotions clearly stirred.
Although she had died before Sakumo Hatake, and didn't quite understand how he could be revived, to her he was just a junior. What truly mattered were the revivals of the Senju brothers and Nawaki.
Especially Nawaki—her and Hashirama Senju's youngest grandson—whom she had doted on since childhood. His personality resembled Hashirama's so much that Mito often thought of her husband when she saw him.
It was because of this that Nawaki's death in the Second Great Ninja War had brought her deep grief and pain. The blow had aged her rapidly.
One must rember—this princess of the Uzumaki clan was, before Naruto, the most powerful jinchūriki in the true sense, possessing many clan secret arts, with chakra and vitality of unimaginable magnitude. She also mastered the Yin Seal, which kept Tsunade beautiful even in the Boruto era. When Mito died, she was about the sa age Tsunade would later be in Boruto.
In such a case, had she not lost the will to live after such a devastating blow, Uzumaki Mito would never have died so easily.
Now, upon hearing of Nawaki's revival, her heart was shaken more than ever, her eyes moistening.
She quickly wiped her eyes, apologizing, "Forgive , Kei-kun. When you get old, you can't control your emotions as well… I must have made a fool of myself."
Kei shook his head. "No, I understand. In fact, when Sister Tsunade saw Nawaki again, her reaction was far greater than yours, Grandma Mito."
Hearing this, a warm smile appeared on Mito's face. "Tsunade, hmm… if Nawaki is alive again, that pain in her heart might finally be healed. But, Kei-kun, you speak to Tsunade so affectionately—it seems the two of you are close now."
Kei coughed in slight embarrassnt. "Ahem… well, yes, we do get along pretty well. That's true…"
Her smile grew kinder. Though she appeared in her twenties thanks to the Yin Seal, she had eaten far more salt than most had eaten rice—she could see through things at a glance.
Still, this wasn't the ti to ask directly. She could ask her granddaughter later.
As for any notion that a Senju-Uchiha union violated tradition, Mito never held such thoughts—in fact, she thought it was a good thing.
After all, she had endured years of her husband frequently talking about Uchiha Madara, developing a very high resistance to the subject.
She then asked about Uzumaki Kushina.
Although Kushina wasn't her direct relative, she was of the sa bloodline—a fellow clanswoman and her successor as the Nine-Tails' jinchūriki, burdened with the sa heavy fate. Caring about the girl was only natural.
Upon hearing from Kei that Kushina was living well, wealthy, energetic, and already in a confird relationship with Minato Namikaze—with marriage planned in a few years—Mito's face lit up with relief and joy.
Kei even ntioned that the Nine-Tails had been "won over" and no longer posed a threat to its jinchūriki, getting along well with Kushina and Minato. This surprised Mito, but also lifted a huge weight off her heart.
"To think she can get along with the Nine-Tails… Kushina is far better than I ever was. I never achieved that…"
Moved and reflective, Mito found it strange that Minato was also ntioned, but what mattered was that Kushina had accomplished sothing she never could.
Kei then briefed her on the current state of the Hidden Leaf, giving her a basic understanding—though she'd have to see it herself to truly grasp it.
When she asked where the Senju brothers and Nawaki were, Kei told her Tobirama was away in Rōran, doing research as a Heroic Spirit and unable to return for now.
She understood, even if she didn't see why research had to be done there. She had no interest in ddling in village affairs anymore.
As for Hashirama and Nawaki, Kei said they were active inside the illusionary ga world, spending most of their ti there.
This puzzled Mito. "Most of their ti in the illusionary ga? What is this illusionary ga that could so captivate them?"
Though Kei had already explained the concept before, she couldn't truly imagine it without seeing it.
So Kei let her try two of the earliest gas—Fruit Ninja and Hocoming.
Even these most "primitive" gas opened the door to a new world for Mito, just like for any first-ti player.
"Such a real experience… no wonder Hashirama and Nawaki are hooked."
After exiting the ga, she saw the many other titles available and sighed in amazent.
Kei then asked, "Grandma Mito, should I bring Lord Hashirama and Nawaki out of the ga, or would you like to et them inside it?"
She was surprised. "You can find them directly inside the ga?"
"Of course," Kei replied. "I have the highest permissions. I can locate them easily—or even watch them from a higher-dinsional perspective without them noticing."
Amazed, Mito agreed. But instead of Hashirama, she chose to observe Nawaki first—wanting to quietly see her grandson before eting him in person, to soothe her lingering guilt from his death.
Kei readily agreed—his face briefly flashing a wicked grin like Light Yagami saying, "Just as planned," unnoticed by her.
He brought her into the admin view of the illusionary world, quickly finding Nawaki and Minato's three students playing Ultimate Storm.
These four were together almost daily—sotis joined by Might Duy, but mostly just the four of them.
Seeing them, Mito frowned. "Where's Nawaki?"
Kei pointed at the blonde twin-tailed girl among them. "That's Nawaki."
"…?"
She thought Kei was joking, but he explained the disguised avatars in the illusionary world, and why Nawaki's appearance was that of a pretty girl.
Accepting the logic—it was basic ninja practice to use disguises, and as soone technically "dead," Nawaki needed the cover—Mito still felt conflicted.
Watching this boisterous, boyish yet sotis girlish "Nawaki," she wondered if the feminization wasn't a bit too much… but decided not to ddle in the younger generation's ways.
She suggested they next check on Hashirama, curious who he was playing with so consistently.
Kei replied seriously, "Grandma Mito, Lord Hashirama isn't just playing—he's keeping soone company. He plays with that person almost every day."
Intrigued, she asked who could require such attention. The thought of Madara crossed her mind—mories of Hashirama constantly talking about him, to the point she sotis wondered who his real spouse was.
And then Kei said it.
"It's the forr Uchiha clan leader—Uchiha Madara."
"Oh, it's Uchiha Madara… wait—what? Uchiha Madara?! Why is he in the illusionary ga? Kei-kun, don't tell you revived him too?!"
