UK:GSW Chapter 351 – Hōjō Emu: I Know This Plot

"Finally, the last mont has co. Good, a classic scene, remodeled and remade — this is exactly the mont I've been waiting for, koraa!"

From a higher-dinsional perspective, Uchiha Kei watched Sasuke bring the ga's story to its final stage, a pleased smile on his face.

At this mont, Kei wasn't alone. A large group of people surrounded him, watching Sasuke's situation and waiting for the iconic mont to arrive.

Among them, besides Tsunade, Kikyo, and Uchiha Naori, were Nine-Tails Tamamo-no-Mae, Karin, Senju Hashirama, Nawaki, the three mbers of Minato's team, as well as Kushina. Anyone who had a spot in the ntal network world — or even temporary mbership — had co to join the fun.

Everyone was interested in this special eye-opening ceremony of Uchiha Sasuke, though their reasons varied. For most, it was simple curiosity about this parallel-world Uchiha orphan.

Especially since this particular Mangekyō Sharingan awakening ritual was personally orchestrated by Uchiha Kei.

They all shared one understanding: anyone who received special attention from Uchiha Kei was no ordinary person. Sasuke was certainly such a case. Even though more than 90% of the Uchiha now had awakened Sharingan thanks to Kei's efforts, those with Mangekyō potential were still rare.

And Sasuke wasn't just a Mangekyō candidate — Kei had said his Mangekyō would be extrely powerful. People like that were rarer still.

Not to ntion, he was the second son of Fugaku and Mikoto.

How could such a "little guy" not draw attention?

So, driven by curiosity, by the desire to know more and see exactly what made this "little guy" special, everyone had rushed over the mont Kei announced the eye-opening event.

Only those who had crossed into other parallel worlds didn't co — they had their own business to attend to.

Orochimaru, Sasori, and Senju Tobirama also weren't interested. All three already had detailed data on Mangekyō Sharingan awakenings, and Tobirama was an Uchiha expert besides.

For them, watching a junior Uchiha awaken a Mangekyō was far less important than continuing their research — they all had more projects than they could finish.

Tobirama, in particular, had to squeeze in ti to accompany his Fire Keeper, leaving him with even less to spare. He barely had ti to talk to his own brother.

Hashirama, of course, hadn't noticed any of this — he was far too busy himself. After all, playing with Madara every day was the happiest ti of his life, his dream co true!

…Which made Kei consider whether the next person to revive should be Mito, because looking at Hashirama playing around like this, he couldn't help wondering if the man might actually go astray.

But for now, all attention was on Sasuke.

At this mont, Sasuke was experiencing the final monts of his Batman storyline.

Like a continuation of DC's Dark Multiverse, guided by Uchiha Itachi in the guise of the "Joker" and the Batman Who Laughs, Sasuke had finally recovered his lost mories. He now understood that as Bruce Wayne-Uchiha, he had a brother — the true Uchiha heir, forgotten by the world.

And the source of this erasure? The cursed power of the Sharingan!

Because of the Sharingan, Gotham's Uchiha heir had been utterly forgotten, his traces erased.

This truth left Sasuke unable to tell reality from illusion. He didn't understand why this had happened — why sothing that should never have been forgotten was erased from everyone's mind.

He began to suspect that this world might have suffered the sa fate as the ninja world: that the real culprit that night had been Uchiha Itachi, killing their parents to obtain the ultimate Sharingan power.

Given that the only Itachi Sasuke knew of at this point was the one from the ninja world — the one who destroyed the Uchiha clan to awaken the Mangekyō and "asure his capacity" — it was only natural he would assu Gotham's Itachi was equally insane.

Especially since the Joker-Itachi had already hard countless people since revealing himself, twisting even Gotham's beacon of hope, Naruto, into Two-Face.

With so much damning evidence, who could bla Sasuke for thinking the worst?

But when Sasuke voiced this suspicion to the fully Joker-fied Itachi, the latter burst into hysterical laughter, as though hearing the funniest joke in the world. He declared that Batman Sasuke was the biggest clown of all.

This infuriated Batman Sasuke, triggering another boss fight. Yet once again, Sasuke could only end up humiliated.

Still, Joker-Itachi, thoroughly amused, kept guiding Sasuke toward more secrets and truths.

At last, as each clue was uncovered, the hidden puzzle was opened. Sasuke felt the world was false, everything he knew unreal.

Then, when Sasuke's ntal state was at its breaking point, Joker-Itachi appeared again, grinning madly as he spoke:

"Hahahaha~~~ You've found it! You finally know!!"

"Yes, that's it! Keep asking yourself! Keep seeking the truth! Like a true clown!"

"Why… has the world forgotten Uchiha Itachi?"

"Why… has the Sharingan's curse not affected you?"

"Why… have you regained these mories?"

"Why… in your mory, in that alley, were the ones attacked by criminals not just your parents, but you?"

"Why… in that attack, did you take bullets and not die?"

"Hahahaha~~~ Yes, exactly as you've discovered!"

"Uchiha Sasuke — you are the extra one! You are the one who actually died in that alley!"

"You were the one who should have been forgotten!"

"It was Uchiha Itachi — the true Uchiha Itachi! To save you, his dearest little brother, he answered your parents' desperate plea to protect you!"

"In that mont, his Sharingan reached its ultimate, unbelievable state — the Mangekyō Sharingan was born!"

"Those eyes saved you — the already-dead you!"

"But the Sharingan is both power and curse! For Uchiha, to use it is to suffer the curse's backlash!"

"Uchiha Itachi created a miracle to save you. So, what do you think his backlash was?"

"Yes! You've guessed it! You understand!"

"The backlash was his complete erasure!"

"Uchiha Itachi, to save his brother, made the world forget him!"

"From that day on, Uchiha Itachi ceased to exist."

"And in his final mont before disappearing, the Uchiha heir gave his brother a last blessing — that Sasuke could use the Sharingan without paying any price!"

"Hahahaha~~~ Yes, that's the real truth — the truly laughable part!"

"You thought you could use the Sharingan without cost? No — soone already paid it for you!"

The mad laughter and the brutal truth crashed into Sasuke's heart. His eyes grew empty, his heartbeat seed to stop. At this mont, he was nearly severed from the Batman persona, returning in madness to his truest self.

After all, the Uchiha were a clan of love — and once they lost love, their grief would breed extre emotions.

And Joker-Itachi wasn't finished. He revealed why he existed in Itachi's form at all.

It was still because of the cursed power of the Sharingan.

Though Itachi had prepaid Sasuke's Sharingan cost, that prepaynt had limits. It couldn't last forever.

Years of Batman Sasuke using the Sharingan had built up the curse's backlash to its peak, until it finally exploded.

But because of Itachi's earlier actions, the backlash didn't strike Sasuke directly — instead, it took Itachi's form and created the Joker-Itachi.

Utterly insane. Utterly deranged. Utterly evil.

He had Itachi's appearance but was not Itachi — he was a completely new being, born because of Sasuke.

That was why Joker-Itachi said he was Sasuke's other side, his counterpart, his mirrored existence — and why he was filled with malice toward Batman Sasuke, always playing deadly jokes on him.

Because the "Joker" existed only because "Batman" did.

The truth hit like a razor. Sasuke felt the absolute loss — he had truly lost his brother, the person most important to him.

And the one who caused this outco, letting a desecration take over all that was Itachi, was Sasuke himself.

It was no different from killing Itachi with his own hands and grinding his bones to dust.

Tears fell uncontrollably. The extre pain and fury surged up, tearing through his mind, rending his nerves.

Dark-natured chakra erupted, flooding into Sasuke's brain and Sharingan.

In that instant, the three-tomoe Sharingan transford — and just like in the original Naruto story, the six-pointed star pattern of the Mangekyō Sharingan appeared.

Uchiha Sasuke had awakened the Mangekyō Sharingan at last.

Uchiha Kei's planned awakening ritual was a complete success.

It's just that, for those who had watched everything, their feelings toward Kei were… complicated. The way they looked at him was as if they were staring at a newborn fool.

After all, if not a fool, who could co up with such a fool's plot?

Then again, rembering the gas Kei had made — especially Outlast — they realized this was just his standard operating procedure.

After all, in terms of deranged plotlines, Outlast was no slouch either. The only difference was that Sasuke's experience had been a fully customized story just for him.

In any case — the result was all that mattered.
