UK:GSW Chapter 345 – Sasuke: Even If I Beco Batman, I'm Still Optimus Pri

"I am vengeance!"

"I am the night!"

"I am… Batman!"

With a hoarse voice as if suffering from throat cancer, Batman issued his declaration as the symbol of this city of cri.

At the sa ti as that declaration, he had just finished dismantling the bones of the seventh wave of criminals, leaving them with severe injuries and binding them before sending a ssage to the Gotham police to pick them up.

As for the Gotham citizens rescued, so expressed deep gratitude toward Batman, while others displayed Gotham's "simple folk" charm—they complained that Batman had deprived them of their freedom to walk ho, and if Batman didn't offer compensation, they would hire a lawyer to sue him.

In other words—they just wanted to extort Batman.

Though such behavior seed idiotic, ungrateful, and utterly absurd… this was Gotham.

Sasuke, in the guise of Batman, ignored them completely. After leaving those words filled with oppressive and chuunibyo energy, he walked away coldly and expressionlessly.

It had to be said—the Batman persona overlapped perfectly with Sasuke's chuunibyo soul, fully awakening that side of him, allowing him to completely rge into the role as if he truly was Batman.

So people put on a mask to disguise themselves as sothing else.

So put on a mask to embrace their true selves.

Sasuke was clearly the latter.

His thoughts, his soul, his resolve, his will—all were completely shaped into Batman's form.

That's why Sasuke could deliver the opening declaration without a shred of sha, and even think it was cool.

In his mind also lingered mories of his previous life. Though those mories had beco blurry after crossing into this world so different from the shinobi world, the dream he had last night brought many back.

In the shinobi world, he had been preparing to take revenge on Uchiha Itachi, but had encountered a powerful enemy whose face he could no longer recall, ultimately suffering defeat and seeing his revenge plan utterly fail.

To be honest, Sasuke was still unwilling to accept that outco. But no matter how much regret he felt, it was aningless—he was no longer in the shinobi world, and his unfortunate life had not changed. He was still just a lonely Uchiha—the clan head, and the last of the Uchiha.

Now, he was also Gotham's Batman—the avenger of the night, the master of fear.

All he needed to consider was how to inflict severe, crippling injuries on criminals who dared to commit cris, without killing them.

Fortunately, Sasuke possessed exactly such skills. By combining his past life's ninja combat techniques with this life's physical condition and an arsenal of high-tech gadgets, he could accomplish many seemingly impossible feats.

For example—disassembling most of a person's bones without harming their internal organs, ensuring they could be rescued and survive.

It was all muscle mory now, displayed in every strike he delivered to criminals.

Step forward—throw a punch—crack, a rib shatters. Follow with a twist of the wrist—snap—an arm breaks. Then a kick with his Bat-armor-enhanced leg—crunch—the kneecap shatters, the leg bending unnaturally.

And yet, Sasuke could ensure they lived—though they would walk with a limp for life, their ability to live independently greatly reduced—they would still live.

This was Batman's rcy—his self-imposed no-kill rule.

Sasuke had refined this fighting style to perfection. He didn't need to think—his body automatically chose the most direct and effective moves to put enemies down.

This was Batman's way of fighting.

After all, Sasuke's current world was modeled after the Batman: Arkham video ga trilogy.

Yes—unsurprisingly, this was yet another of Uchiha Kei's creations.

It was a ntal-network simulation using one of many ga modules—the Batman series.

The Arkham trilogy was one of the most successful IP-based gas ever made—praised for its power fantasy, story, depth, and fan appeal. This Batman was far stronger than his comic or film counterparts, made so for gaplay satisfaction.

Translated into the ntal network, the results were even more spectacular. With Uchiha Kei's modding and realism enhancents, Sasuke was experiencing Batman at superhuman levels.

On top of that, Sasuke had his own "cheat"—sotis, during battle, his eyes would shift into the three-tomoe Sharingan.

Yes—the Sharingan had carried over into this world.

Of course, it wasn't as powerful as in the shinobi world. Here, it only granted exceptional dynamic vision and the ability to copy movents—enhancing perception and learning.

Even so, it was pure cheating. Batman was already a "cheater" in his own right—Batman with a Sharingan was cheating on top of cheating. He beca the nightmare of Gotham's criminals, and even the world's supervillains couldn't escape humiliation.

It seed Uchiha Kei had brought Sasuke here purely for him to enjoy himself.

But… would he really be so kind? Of course not.

The Sharingan's presence ant Uchiha Kei had placed Sasuke in Gotham as Batman for one reason—to awaken the Mangekyo Sharingan.

And while the Sharingan was a cheat here, the DC world's rules ant that when the hero powered up, so did the villains. Uchiha Kei had already prepared a "script" perfectly suited to Sasuke.

The Sharingan here was undoubtedly a curse.

"The cursed power—the Sharingan—has been the source of the Uchiha clan's misfortune since ancient tis… No, the so-called curse does not co from the Sharingan, but from this city itself."

"The one cursed… is Gotham."

The hoarse, late-stage-throat-cancer-like voice spoke—it was Batman's voice. Having once again cleared a group of criminals and temporarily made Gotham safer, he now stood atop a tall building.

The rain had stopped. Gotham glistened wetly, and in the puddle at his feet his face was reflected—in the eye sockets of the cowl, the Sharingan shone.

Sasuke wasn't surprised to have the Sharingan here. In this world, the Uchiha naturally possessed it—but unlike the shinobi world, where it was tied to power and a coveted bloodline, here it was seen as a cursed inheritance—a sin all Uchiha bore from birth.

According to clan legend, the Sharingan manifested after the Uchiha ancestor made a deal with a demon, earning the curse of those slain by that demon.

Those who awakened the Sharingan gained extraordinary eyes, but also misfortune. That was why the Uchiha bloodline was so thin, despite being one of Gotham's founding elite—countless Uchiha t tragic ends, like Sasuke's parents.

Sasuke didn't buy into this. He didn't believe in cursed bloodlines. In his view, every past tragedy had an explainable cause—science, environnt, or self-destruction.

He'd read in family records about ancestors who drank radioactive beverages during Gotham's industrial days—a fad that killed many.

The so-called curse was nothing but superstition.

As a forr shinobi who had lived seventeen years in the shinobi world, Sasuke believed the Sharingan was the Uchiha's pride—power and bloodline to be envied. In the real world, the extraordinary was often misunderstood, and the misunderstood beca feared—thus the "cursed bloodline."

Still, as Batman, he embraced the idea of being cursed—because the Uchiha, as Gotham's founders, bore responsibility for its sins.

This city would curse anything that sought to make it better. The Uchiha were such a thing. Thus, as Batman, he fully accepted the Uchiha as cursed—not by the Sharingan, but by Gotham itself.

A fate-drenched, chuunibyo belief—classic Arican-style individual heroism.

Sasuke shed with it perfectly—it was who he was.

At that mont, the illusion-world "plot" advanced.

Alfred, the ultimate support, sent word of another cri. Sasuke thanked him, then imdiately set out to deal with the fools.

But he found them… strange. Their faces were painted in garish colors, like clowns. When they saw him, they froze—then burst into manic laughter, shouting excitedly:

"It's the Bat! It's really the Bat!"

"The Bat's here! The Big Bat's here! Hahaha~~~"

"Joker was right! Joker was right, the Bat would co! The Bat will co!"

Sasuke gave them a cold glance and moved in to break their bones.

Even crippled and in pain, they laughed hysterically, as if mocking Batman's existence.

One, eyes bloodshot, glared at him and scread:

"Joker's waiting for you! Joker's looking for you! Batman, Joker told to tell you—he wants to play a ga with you! To put on a cody that will make all of Gotham laugh!"

"Are you ready? Hehe—hahahaha~~~ AAAAHHH—"

The last scream ca as Batman broke even more of his bones.

Looking at the unconscious clown, Batman's cold gaze didn't change. He cared nothing for the so-called Joker—just another oddball in his rogues' gallery.

After all, in Gotham, there was never a shortage of lunatics—he had already faced Penguin, Scarecrow, Riddler, Mr. Freeze, Poison Ivy, and more. No villain could frighten him.

Because Batman was Gotham's greatest darkness, its greatest terror—the thought of him alone enough to make criminals tremble.

In the shadow of the Bat, under the gaze of the Sharingan, no criminal could hide. All would fall to fear.

That was Batman's will—and Sasuke's pride. He believed himself invincible here. Everyone else was just trash.

From a higher dinsion, Uchiha Kei watched Sasuke's mindset and reactions, his expression faintly odd and full of exasperation.

Truly… Optimus Pri. Even as Batman, even with Bruce Wayne's mories overwriting his own to maximize imrsion, Sasuke still had the mindset of Optimus Pri—here, in Gotham of all places.

So things in a person's nature just can't be changed.

Still… it would be fun.

Once the ga's plot advanced and Gotham beat Sasuke down, the footage would make a fine collectible—maybe even a blackmail tool.

With a faint smirk, Uchiha Kei looked forward to Sasuke's reaction when he t this Joker—not the one from canon, but one he had heavily modified. Who knew if Sasuke could keep a straight face?
