Trying to get the Uchiha clan to play his ga was not going well. The Uchihas Uchiha Kei approached showed zero interest, and so outright mocked or looked down on him.

It wasn't that Uchiha Kei was universally hated—if he really tried, there were still so clan mbers willing to play. But he wasn't targeting just any Uchiha—he was going after the elite ones, the ones with fully matured three-tomoe Sharingan.

Everyone knew the Uchiha were proud. They respected strength. It wasn't cutthroat like in those fantasy novels, but it was absolutely a strength-over-everything culture.

As a lower-tier clan mber, Kei was inevitably looked down upon by those three-tomoe elites.

And let's be honest—when Kei approached them saying he developed a unique genjutsu ga that required dropping all resistance and fully submitting to his Sharingan…

If he wasn't Uchiha himself, he'd probably have been punched already.

You want to cast genjutsu on an elite Uchiha and ask them to *not* resist it?

Dear sir—please go back to bed.

Are you trying to commit social suicide?

Besides, the powerful Uchihas were top-priority assets. Their daily schedules were packed with missions and training. Even during breaks, they had their own circles.

To them, Kei's bizarre request was laughable. Of course none of them took him seriously.

So the plan to harvest emotional energy and complete the mission through elite Uchihas failed spectacularly.

Kei wasn't surprised. After eighteen years, he knew exactly what kind of people his clan mbers were.

He just wanted to test his luck to see if anyone happened to be in a good mood.

Now that it flopped, ti to move on to Plan B.

Finishing up his tasks for the day, Kei filed a leave request and left the Konoha Military Police Departnt.

It went through without a hitch—his superior didn't care, since Kei had already completed his work.

In fact, if not for a rule mandating daily presence, Kei could have gone ho early every day.

From his boss's point of view, Kei's job was a humiliation imposed by the clan. Any normal Uchiha would've snapped by now. The fact that Kei still showed up and finished his tasks made him a model employee.

Different values, different perspectives.

To Kei, it was a cushy job. To the Uchiha, it was shaful.

After leaving the police station, Kei headed straight for the Uchiha compound. There, he t the man he was looking for.

Not just any clan mber, but the next head of the Uchiha clan—Uchiha Fugaku.

Outwardly a hardliner, inwardly a compromiser. The man who, in the future, would do nothing as his beloved son massacred their entire clan.

But right now, at age twenty-eight, Fugaku was still sharp and ambitious, and had earned the moniker "Killer Eyes" in the shinobi world.

He was a textbook example of how powerful bloodlines ruled this world. As the purest-blooded heir, Fugaku's Sharingan was clearly more potent than others of the sa level. His prestige within the clan was high. Most of the younger generation followed his lead.

Unlike other Uchihas, he didn't display equal-opportunity arrogance. He treated everyone with a certain grace, even the lower-ranking clan mbers.

Thanks to that, Kei had managed to build a rapport with him.

Also, Fugaku was close friends with Minato Namikaze. And since Kei had that sa connection with Minato, Fugaku beca one of the few three-tomoe Uchihas who treated Kei decently.

So when Kei's plan to promote the ga internally failed, he ca to Fugaku for help.

Fugaku wasn't just a gateway to publicity—he was a top-tier emotion generator. As an elite Jōnin, he wasn't quite on Minato's level, but still plenty strong enough to produce emotional value.

Kei found him training alone in the clan's private dojo—a facility reserved for the clan head.

Technically, others could serve the heir during training, but Fugaku didn't like that. He always trained alone.

Kei arrived to see Fugaku sweating through intense physical drills.

Spotting him, Fugaku paused and walked over. "Kei-kun, what brings you here at this hour?"

Kei grinned. "You know I've always had a knack for ideas. For the past two years, I've been refining a genjutsu technique using my Sharingan. And I've finally developed sothing—a unique secret technique I call the 'Genjutsu Ga.'"

"It's a jutsu that imrses the user in a vividly real illusionary world."

Fugaku nodded, intrigued. He knew Kei had created the Rasengan for Minato, so he fully trusted Kei's skill in jutsu developnt.

The only pity was that Kei's raw shinobi talent was lacking. Otherwise, he could've beco the Uchiha's version of Tobirama Senju.

This wasn't just Minato's biased admiration—Fugaku had the sa illusion.

So he wasn't surprised at all. Only curious. "What's the jutsu's actual function?"

Kei smiled. "Well… you'll have to experience it for yourself. I can only say this—Minato already tried it this morning and was blown away. If he hadn't been busy this afternoon, he would've kept playing."

Na-dropping Minato like a trump card, Kei knew Fugaku couldn't resist.

Sure enough, Fugaku's eyes lit up. He rubbed his chin. "Minato said it was good? Wanted to keep playing? Sounds dangerously addicting."

"But if even Minato got hooked, it must be impressive."

"So, you want to try this 'Genjutsu Ga,' too?"

Kei nodded. "And after you've tried it, I hope you'll help spread the word—get more Uchihas to give it a shot."

He paused, then added, rembering how rattled and excited Minato had been, "It might even help unawakened clan mbers activate their Sharingan—or evolve it from one tomoe to two, or from two to three."

Hearing that, Fugaku's expression sharpened. A glint flashed in his eye—"Killer Eyes" mode, fully activated.

His gaze turned fierce and commanding.
