Chapter 53: Hai, First Wife...!

Tony stepped in quietly and closed the door behind him. He walked toward her bed and sat beside it, his gaze fixed on her face.

For a long mont— He said nothing... mories surfaced.

"Out of all things I never expected to see you here," Tony muttered softly.

His eyes narrowed slightly.

He understood sothing clearly... He couldn’t kill her. Not because he didn’t want to completely!— But because he knew he couldn’t complete the task.

’A five-star heaven-blessed individual...’ Soone protected by fate itself.

"There will always be a trump card... a guardian... sothing," he thought coldly.

Killing her directly was impossible without consequences.

’So what can I do?’ Tony leaned back slightly, his mind racing through possibilities.

’If she rises in the marital path... she will co back for revenge. Only destruction left for the Clark family.’

"The heaven’s blessed are truly lucky. Initially they may face struggle or even near death. But they find treasures at death’s door... they survive impossible odds..."

Tony’s eyes darkened.

"And I... a 3rd rate villain... I am ant to die."

The realization didn’t scare him... It sharpened thoughts further.

Silence filled the room again as he stared at her.

Then... A thought ford. It is definitely absurd... but Tony felt it’s the only way.

"Heal her..!."

Tony frowned slightly... The idea sounded ridiculous... Even laughable.

"Even a seventh-rank doctor couldn’t heal her completely... And I don’t even know how to hold a syringe..."

He let out a soft breath. ’Wait... I have a system.’

The realization hit him instantly. "Why should I learn from scratch? A healer didn’t need years of training. A healer needed Knowledge, Technique, mory... ’Inheritance!!!!

Tony’s expression changed as smiled with a serious look.

"System... Show my Inheritances of Healers...!"

A faint blue interface appeared instantly before him.

The panel expanded... Revealing options. ’Paths.... Professions.’

Tony’s eyes widened as he saw countless inheritances which spread like WWE cards which were ready to swipe and select.

***

The system screen resembles a structured digital marketplace rather than a simple notification panel.

Rows upon rows of inheritance options appeared, categorized by profession, rarity, and compatibility. Each panel displayed glowing symbols, nas, and descriptions that carried an ancient, almost sacred aura.

Tony leaned back slightly, his eyes scanning through them one by one with growing interest.

So inheritances were focused purely on healing, while others blended combat and dical techniques. There were ancient alchemist legacies, poison masters, spirit surgeons, and even rare hybrid paths that combined life manipulation with elental control. Each one carried its own-weight, its own history, and most importantly, its own price.

Tony’s expression gradually shifted from curiosity to irritation.

Almost all of them were outrageously expensive... Thousands of fate points. Tens of thousands in so cases.

He tapped one casually, and the interface zood in, presenting its details in a structured format.

Tony stared at the panel for a mont before shaking his head.

"Five years...?!!!"

His lips curled slightly. "So even the system expects

to work like a slave."

He scrolled further, his eyes narrowing as more conditions appeared.

One inheritance required the user to complete a hundred real-life surgeries before unlocking its abilities. Another demanded a rare body constitution that resonated with spiritual herbs. Yet another required complete emotional detachnt, forbidding the user from forming attachnts for at least three years.

Tony let out a slow breath. "So this isn’t a shortcut... Every inheritance had a price beyond fate points. Ti... Effort... Risk..."

He leaned forward slightly, his fingers tapping lightly against his knee as his thoughts deepened.

"If it were that easy, everyone would beco a master."

The realization settled in quietly, but it didn’t discourage him. Instead, it sharpened his focus. He needed sothing efficient, sothing practical, sothing that could help him deal with Emma Rock without wasting years of his ti.

Just as he was about to scroll again, searching for a loophole, a sudden tug interrupted his thoughts.

The system screen vanished instantly... Tony’s head snapped toward the bed.

’Emma Rock...!’

Her fingers had latched onto his shirt. She was pulling his shirt corner with a weak grip.

Their eyes t.

Even in her weakened state, the killing intent in her gaze was unmistakable. It burned with a clarity that no illness could suppress. She pulled at his shirt with all the strength she could muster, her expression filled with hatred and defiance.

Tony blinked once, then let out a small laugh.

"It’s okay, it’s okay... don’t kill your husband at first sight," Tony said jokingly while trying to pull his shirt away from her hands and slowly moving her hand back beside her.

Her grip loosened slightly, but her eyes didn’t.

"H-How dare you show

your face again? D..i..d you co to kill ? To save your future... family?" Emma asked in a painful tone, as the killing intent and a murderous look were apparent.

Tony leaned back slightly, completely unbothered.

"You are thinking too much," wifey, Tony said casually.

But she imdiately tried to rise up in fury as she didn’t like Tony’s calling... but fell back again.

"Don’t ever call

with that na. I am not... your wife." Emma said angrily as she coughed out loudly.

Tony raised his hands slightly in mock surrender.

"Okay... okay, don’t stress out too much. I didn’t co here to kill you. In fact I want to help you cure your condition and help you regain your strength," Tony said while trying to act polite and like his usual self.

Her eyes narrowed further.

"Are you mocking ?" she asked with clenched fists. "You don’t even know how to hold a needle. I know you ca here to end my life so that you and your family can live peacefully again. B-But rember I will definitely take my revenge. You must all pay for your sins," Emma said, gritting her teeth.

Tony watched her quietly for a mont, his expression unreadable.

"Easy, easy... As I said, don’t stress out too much. In your current state you’re not even eating properly. Why are you threatening ? Whether you believe it or not, I’m going to treat your condition in one month. Whether you like it or not, I will forcefully heal you. If you reject ," Tony said that as he stood up.

But Emma spat with killing intent. "I won’t let your filthy hands hold

again. I’d better die than cure in your hands." Emma said in a decisive tone.

Tony paused... then turned slightly and began speaking in a low tone..

"Who was asking you to die? Cure yourself and rise up in strength. One day if you really stand above the Clark family then co for your revenge. Until then know your place. Don’t forget that I’m still your husband. Whether you accept it or not, I have your yin flower." Tony said as he stood up to leave and took a few steps back.

Her eyes burned with fury.

"You are still the sa, Tony! smug, arrogant, and belittling your opponents. But one day when I stand above you, I will make sure you suffer. You will be begging on your knees. I will see how proud you are at that ti." Emma threatened.

Tony laughed... Not loudly... But genuinely. Then he turned and walked out of the room.

However, the mont he stepped outside— The smile faded.

"As expected of the Heaven-blessed Child... she still has the will to rise again," Tony muttered quietly as he walked through the corridor.

As he reached the ground floor of the Healing Tower, he suddenly stopped.

Soone stood ahead.

’Peak Master Natasha...!’
