Chapter 12: Tit for Tat!
"Ha ha ha ha...!" Tony suddenly began laughing loudly as he stood close to Senior Jim.
There was clear amusent in his laughter as he stared at all the servants, Clay family mbers, and guests who gathered around to watch the drama.
"Tony, what’s this nonsense?! Apologize now!" the seventh elder said seriously, with a frustrated look.
"So this is the pride of the Clark family...?! Without knowing the actual facts, you are going to make the family prince bow his head?!"
Tony gave a disappointed look as he turned towards the servants who also joined in complaining against him.
"You are the one who witnessed
in the herb garden, right? You watched everything... Why don’t you provide witness to what happened at the herb garden?!"
"Respected Senior... even though I did kiss this lady and slap this fellow, I have a proper reason behind it!"
Tony said while pointing his finger at Elwynn and Elsa.
"As a person with reason, I ask you to listen to the full facts before you make , the family prince, apologize to nobody!" Tony said in a righteous tone while facing Senior Jim.
Senior Jim was silent for a long ti before he nodded his head with a reluctant look.
"You... co forward," Senior Jim pointed at one of the servants who ca first to complain.
The servant hesitated for a second as he did not understand what to do in this situation. But as the senior had already pointed at him, he had no choice but to step forward.
All the attention turned towards that servant. He felt like he was standing on his deathbed.
All the guests were eagerly waiting for the servant’s testimony.
"Before you say anything... I just want to confirm a few facts," Tony said loudly as he ca to stand before the servant.
The servant’s legs began shaking as he saw the sa evil grin on Tony’s face.
"Were you present in the herb garden when I kissed this lady?!" Tony asked with a serious look.
"Yes, Master... I was standing at a long distance. That’s why you might not have noticed ," the servant replied in a shaky tone.
"Oh...?" Tony’s smile widened. "So you only saw what happened... but you didn’t hear anything, right?!"
The servant’s body stiffened. After hearing Tony’s remark, the hint was obvious... he didn’t hear anything.
"Yes, Master..." the servant replied after a mont of hesitation.
"So tell ... who approached first?!" Tony asked.
Elsa clenched her fists in anger as she finally understood the ga Tony was playing.
The servant imdiately lowered his head.
"Young Master... it is true that Lady Elsa approached you first. You didn’t even look at her before she greeted you," the servant replied in a steady tone as he finally understood he had no choice but to side with Tony.
The third elder might let him leave... but if he offended Tony... the servant clearly knew the difference.
"Good... good... so you really saw everything? No... I asked you to say what you really saw after that!" Tony gestured with an obvious hint in his tone.
"Senior..." the servant turned towards Old Patriarch Jim. "Tony went to help as Lady Elsa was planting seeds, but I don’t know what happened next... Suddenly, the lady stood up and showed a threatening posture towards Young Master Tony; only then did Young Master Tony kiss her!"
"Liar!!!" Elsa Clay cried out in anger. She never saw soone twisting facts so easily... that in front of large crowd.
"See... I’m the victim here," Tony said with a naive look as he turned towards the guests.
"After that, Young Master Elwynn got involved. I didn’t hear what happened, but Elwynn raised his dagger angrily with a threatening gesture," the servant continued without lifting his head.
"Senior Jim, please don’t listen! The servant is definitely lying because he is afraid of Tony!" Elwynn cried out loudly as he took a step forward in anger.
"Is what he said true?!" Senior Jim turned towards the remaining servants.
They all nodded their heads with reluctant looks as Tony’s gaze had already fallen upon them.
"Old Patriarch Jim... the truth is before you. If you still don’t believe the servants, you can confirm this with the CCTV caras," Tony said confidently, as he clearly knew only visuals would be recorded in them.
The Clay family patriarch, Eon, had an ugly expression after realizing the situation. The sword he wanted to use against Tony had now turned against him.
Everyone began whispering...
After all these allegations, only the Clay family’s reputation had turned to dust. Now everyone knew about his daughter being kissed and his son Elwynn being slapped by Tony.
"This is ridiculous!!!" Elwynn cried out angrily as he couldn’t suppress his rage.
"Senior... Young Master Tony is clearly taking advantage of the situation! I would never dare to insult the Clark family! He just slapped
without any reason!" Elwynn lashed out, unable to believe how the situation had turned against him.
He always thought Tony was just a waste abusing his authority... but never expected him to be this cunning.
All the guests and gathered elders clearly knew the truth... but nobody had the guts to speak without clear evidence.
All the evidence was in Tony’s favor. Even the servants of the third-elder supported him in the end.
Senior Jim was not blind... he could clearly see Tony taking advantage of the situation.
While everybody remained silent, Tony watched with amusent.
"Old Patriarch... why are you silent?! Justice is laid before you... Why don’t you take action against the Clay family?!"
Tony suddenly raised his voice with a gleeful look.
"Silence!!!"
The entire gathering was stunned by this declaration.
"What?!" The Clay family patriarch was dumbfounded after hearing Tony’s demand.
"Tony...!" Elwinn cried out in frustration. The situation is nothing but showing face to get beaten.
"What?! Are you afraid that your lies caught everyone’s attention?"
Tony turned towards the crowd. "How shaless the Clay family is?! They tried to fra ... now couldn’t bear to face it when truth ca to surface!"
Elwynn felt his head-spin after hearing Tony’s words. Before he could say anything... his sister Elsa collapsed unconscious on the stage as she couldn’t bear to witness everything turning against them.
