T/N: I just realized after the fact that this matter actually is like two birds with one stone. The Shen family’s di son was who Noble Consort Su originally wanted to pair Jing Wan up with, but this matter will thoroughly ruin any chance of that happening if the two families beco enemies.

And one last thing, the true purpose of this sche, from the different people’s perspectives, is most likely different than what you think it is for. It’s supposed to be simple, but also not that simple.
