Ella had just walked out of the company entrance when she saw soone’s car parked by the roadside.
She walked over, and Ah Gui got out of the car to open the rear door for her.
Once inside, Ella flashed a smile at the man beside her and said, “Okay, tell , what’s going on?”
Ye Jiuqing furrowed his brow slightly, looked at her, and said, “Don’t smile at like that.”
“Why?” She squinted her eyes playfully and said, “What’s the matter, am I ugly when I smile?”

A flock of crows flew overhead from the top of the three of them.
Ah Gui cleared his throat, breaking the quiet atmosphere in the car.

He decided to leave so space for the two people behind him.

Just then, Ye Jiuqing said, “I’m going to leave F Country for a while.”

She then asked, “How long?”
“About half a month. I’ll leave Ah Gui with you, so you can find him if you need anything.” He said.

Ella looked back at him, “What’s there to ask? You can’t possibly be going to cheat on during these two weeks, right?”

“What’s with that expression? Am I wrong? Are you really going to find another woman?”
Ye Jiuqing: “… Please speak properly.”
Ella: “I’m not asking because I really don’t want to know. The reason is simple: the matter you’re handling isn’t a small one, so the fewer people know, the lesser the chances of it being leaked. That’s all there is to it.”
She was speaking truthfully.
Ye Jiuqing stared at her for a few seconds before saying, “Alright, then I won’t say anything.”

Ella cleared her throat, her gaze faltering for a mont, “Of course I need to worry a bit, but more concerning is whether I’ll be widowed after you leave. You’ve probably already drafted your will, right? In case sothing unexpected happens, I should be able to inherit your estate?”
Ye Jiuqing stared at her unwaveringly and suddenly smiled.
His thin lips curved as he said, “Don’t worry, it’s all yours.”
Ella glanced at him with a bit of surprise.
“As long as I can inherit it, then there’s nothing for to ask anymore.”

Ye Jiuqing replied to her, “Whatever you wish for should co true.”
Ella felt her serene heart ripple once again.
She said nothing more and turned to look out at the nightti scenery through the car window.
The window simultaneously reflected the breathtakingly handso profile of the man.
After having dinner with her, Ye Jiuqing drove her back to the Helan Family.
But this ti, he only escorted her to the door and didn’t go inside.
“Are you sure you don’t want to go in and say hello?” Ella asked before getting out of the car.
Ye Jiuqing replied, “It’s quite late now; my parents are probably asleep. I’d rather not disturb them. You should also rest early after going back.”
Ella pursed her lips slightly, “Are you leaving tonight?”
Ye Jiuqing nodded, “Yes.”
Ella also nodded lightly, indicating her understanding, “Alright then, be careful. I really don’t want to co and collect your corpse.”

“Rest assured, I won’t leave you a widow.”

Just as Ella arrived at the company entrance and was about to step in, Helan Yaoyue’s sharp voice called from behind.
“Helan Lingshuang, stop right there!”
Ella turned around at the sound, seeing a disheveled woman rushing towards her.

She pointed at Ella and yelled angrily.

Hearing her words, Ella furrowed her brows slightly. Kidnapping?

The crowd quickly thinned out.
Ella looked at a security guard nearby and said, “Don’t let her make a scene at the company entrance; drive her away.”

At this mont, Helan Tianyu’s car pulled up beside them.
He pushed the car door open and got out.

The two looked at her in disbelief.
