A world lost and forgotten far away in the unknown universe.
Avallon is a world filled with six continents and seven seas. It is run by a goddess nad "Esteria," who placed statues of herself all over this world that can change their form depending on how the people of this world see her.
This world is also run by a magical system called "Diilt". This system is responsible for granting humans and other races those who live on Avallon magical affinities during birth.
It also grants a chosen few special magical powers called "Ana," which can differ from person to person, no matter the race.
This world also has multiple kingdoms, and among these kingdoms, there’s only one kingdom that has more power than the other kingdoms.
This kingdom is called "lcelut", where every year its skies are filled with bright, colorful lights due to the celebration of the king of this kingdom’s birthday.
Sowhere in this kingdom of lcelut, there’s a bar, or so might say a eting point for thugs and any other persons who do shady business.
And on this day, like every other year when it’s the king’s birthday. People are celebrating all over the capital of this kingdom called "l".
Buying and selling cheap products from all over the continents of Avallon.
Suddenly, a small portal opened up in the sky from a distance far from the capital of lcelut, where people were enjoying themselves.
Even though the people of this world can use magical abilities, only one person sensed the small portal that opened up in the sky.
This person was neither human nor monster, but she had the appearance of a human girl with long pink hair and green eyes.
"What’s wrong?" A woman nad Rin asked the girl with the long pink hair and the green eyes. Since they were sitting right next to each other.
Rin was also the sa as the pink-haired girl, but she could change her appearance depending on her surroundings.
"Soone opened a portal in the sky to the east." The pink-haired girl said with a brunt expression on her face. Looking at the sky to the east.
"Are they human?" Rin asked, looking at the girl.
The pink-haired girl replied, "I don’t know, but soone’s coming out of it an-" Before she could finish talking, she suddenly stopped.
"Huh?" uttered Rin
She looked at the girl with curiosity, and she asked the girl since the girl did not finish her sentence. "What is it?"
The pink-haired girl replied, still looking east. "The portal closed up, but I sense soone new, and they seem dangerous. I think it’s a spirit, and it’s pretty young."
Even though she was calling soone else young, she was pretty young herself.
"A spirit, huh?" Rin said with a curious face, as she tilted her head up a bit.
She went quiet for a second as the pink-haired girl stared at her with no emotion in her eyes. And sohow their faces seed identical to each other.
"Go take care of it, it might be one of us... and if there’s soone else around who just happens to see you?"
She stopped, looking at the pink-haired girl with a smile on her face.
"Kill them."
The pink-haired girl blinked.
A second later, after Rin had finished talking. She opened two identical portals for the girl and herself to pass through.
The portals were made of dark blue smoke, which seed scary at first glance, but yet welcoming when approached.
The pink-haired girl went through one of the portals, but before she entered it, Rin said to her, "Just be careful, Yoko." Her tone sounded concerned as the portal closed up.
Elsewhere in the capital of lcelut, inside the bar where thugs and shady people exchange currency. Three n, naly "Zai", "June", and "Zabuto", were waiting for soone at table three, which was right next to the counter.
"I just don’t know what to do anymore," Zai complained.
The table was empty, with no cups or weapons on it.
"Co on, just try to enjoy yourself for a little bit. than worrying about tomorrow’s problems." June teased.
"Try to give him so credit for being here. After all, I’m the reason why you’re both here." Zabuto said while holding so blueprints for a new weapon.
Without any warning, a masked man with green hair asked. "What’s all this commotion about?"
It was like he appeared out of thin air.
"Oh, you’re finally here."
"Please take a seat," Zabuto said without a trace of hesitation in his voice.
A mont later, after the masked man took his seat, Rin walked into the bar and went straight to table three.
All the people in the bar were looking at her, but she just pretended like none of them were there in the first place.
"Oh, it’s you." Zabuto and June said while Zai looked worried, and the masked man looked away from Rin. It was like he was irritated under his mask with Rin’s insight.
"We thought you weren’t coming?" June comnted.
"I thought so too, but since I was already in l, I changed my mind about not coming," Rin said with a smile while taking a seat on one of the chairs still open.
Everyone else stayed quiet. It was like a Queen had arrived on the scene.
A few seconds later, after she took a seat, she added with a tone of curiosity in her voice. "So, what do we have here?"
Everyone looked at her with hesitation. Except for Zabuto, who was trying to act normal, even though the fact was that he was scared of Rin’s presence.
Zabuto looked at Rin and thought to himself, ’This is bad.’ And he continued nervously, "Since we’re all here. Let start our eting for this year’s project."
The eting went on for a while, and after they had finished, everyone went their separate ways, except for the masked man and June, who remained for a drink.
But since the masked man was still wearing his mask, he bought his drink to go. And the fact that he didn’t want anyone to know who he was under the mask.
"Well, I better be on my way, too." The masked man said as he stood up from his chair.
"What’s with the sudden rush?" June asked as he picked up his cup.
The masked man gazed through his mask with two piercing blue eyes, while standing for a second in silence.
No one was paying attention to them, even though they were with Rin a few minutes ago.
June took a sip from his cup and looked at the masked man with only one eye and a cool and calm face.
The masked man smiled under his mask and said. "My wife is going to have another baby soon. So I need to stay by her side when that happens."
June smiled while putting his cup down, and he started giggling.
The masked man was surprised by the giggling from June. He asked with a curious voice. "What’s wrong?"
June answered. "Nothing, it’s just funny that you’re going to have another one of them brats."
June and the masked man weren’t close, but June seed to know everything there was to know about the masked man.
After a second, June asked. "Is your wife going to be okay? Since you’re here, and you said you live way out there in the mountains."
But the masked man replied with a prideful voice. He didn’t notice that June was just playing with him.
"I’m not worried for my wife, I’m just worried for the baby. Since my wife can take care of herself. I needn’t worry too much about her."
"Anyway, I’m off." He said as he vanished into thin air without leaving any trace of himself being there.
June smiled and said to himself, "Classic Cromwell." As he picked up his cup to take a sip.
Elsewhere, to the Middle East of l. Rin was standing in front of a frontier weapons shop. Next to an abandoned child who looked halfway dead, due to his bruises those were on his face, hands, and back.
She looked at the child with a dead look in her eyes, which looked similar to Yoko’s (the pink-haired girl), and the child looked back at her with a fading smile. This surprised Rin that she had no choice but to smile back at the child.
A second later, the child collapsed down next to a broken old grass bottle.
Rin continued smiling and approached the child, as her left hand twitched with excitent.
Monts later, Rin was passing by one of the goddesses’ statues, which was located in the capital of lcelut.
It looked like a woman carrying so books and a long spear while wearing a crown and standing on a rock.
The version of this statue stands for victory and knowledge of this kingdom.
She stopped and looked up at the statue with a serious face and murmured to herself, "Mother." And then out loud she added. "I hope you’ll one day forgive for what I plan to do."
A royal guard from one of the gates of the kingdom of lcelut was also passing by the goddess’s statue while carrying so kind of paper scroll. And he looked like he was in a hurry.
Suddenly, Rin felt an unfamiliar presence coming from the south of the kingdom of lcelut, where the guard was also posted.
"Wait, what?" She muttered under her breath while she turned south of the capital of lcelut.
Without any warning, soone released a large amount of mana into the sky. And it was coming from west of the capital of lcelut, where a village nad "Dol" was located.
The mana that was being released into the sky didn’t surprise Rin, but she heard a voice saying, "Co to the blue gate imdiately. It’s an agent matter."
The voice sounded like it was from a well-respected man.
And without wasting any ti, the dark blue smoke started gathering around her and ford a portal. She then entered it and was on her way.
