This isn’t a movie, human firearms are far from as weak as they’re shown in films.
Just as this group of You Tai soldiers was still amused, a tall dark figure burst out from the dical Research Institute, and it was a Mutant Ghost.

12.7 mm bullets swept across, severing the Ghost’s left arm, punching several holes through its body, and the Ghost was battered by the huge impact into retreating step by step.
However, because the range was too close, the blood from the Ghost’s wounds splattered onto the soldier operating the machine gun.
This blood was like concentrated sulfuric acid, directly corroding his skin and flesh, exposing his stark white bones, making him roll on the ground in pain.
As the heavy machine gun barrage ceased, the dying Ghost once again charged into the crowd, struggling for over ten seconds.

Confirming the Ghost was utterly dead, the surviving You Tai soldiers panted heavily, with the company commander urgently reporting the situation to superiors, requesting reinforcents.
At this mont, a sudden gunshot caused the jumpy You Tai soldiers to raise their weapons, and they saw a soldier shoot a wounded comrade with a handgun.
The comrade was only lightly injured, clearly treatable, yet died at the hands of his own.

The You Tai soldiers were stunned by this scene.

As ti dragged on, more Mutant Ghosts erged from the dical Research Institute, attracted by the strong scent of blood, this ti several appeared.
Seeing this ti appearing were four Ghosts, the nervous You Tai soldiers on the street crumbled, ignoring their comrades still awaiting treatnt on the ground, they turned to flee.
