And in the gorge, gigantic Spider chas, modified from the Spider Main Battle chas into engineering machines, were deeply drilling and anchoring themselves into the rocky terrain with their long spider legs. They were excavating the earth, and when encountering massive rocks, they would strike continuously with their spider legs and shatter them with the installed heavy-duty drills and hamrs.
In the middle part of the Spider cha, where machine guns used to be mounted, hydraulic chanical arms had been installed instead.
Two huge buckets scooped up large swathes of soil and rocks into the massive bin on their backs, and then these materials were conveyed to the surface via a gigantic conveyor belt.
To handle the trendous volu of transport, even the conveyor belt had been modified so that tons of soil and rocks could be easily transported from the gorge to the ground dozens of ters above, to be then carried away by various excavators and trucks.
"Using Spider chas for civil engineering works? That's quite ostentatious,"
Wang Lin felt as if his eyes had been opened. The Spider Main Battle chas were hailed as the new kings of ground combat, a single one could easily overturn dozens of armored vehicles. The fact that they were repurposed for digging and dredging was sothing Wang Lin had not even dared to imagine.
Ba Peng shrugged and said, "But it's efficient, isn't it!"
"Too efficient. Such a lengthy and deep gorge has been excavated in such a short ti, it's truly breathtaking."

Ba Peng replied with a smile, when suddenly a loud bang ca from the coast, startling everyone present.
"What's going on?"
Ba Peng's brow furrowed, and his aide took a call and whispered sothing into Ba Peng's ear.
As he listened, Ba Peng's expression turned unsightly, and he eventually beca furious: "Bullshit, to mistake the dock, do they think I'm an idiot? This is clearly done on purpose."
"Mr. Ba Peng, what's happened?"
Wang Lin had a bad feeling.
"A Temasek cargo ship collided with our temporary dock. They claim the ship is severely damaged, taking on water, and needs ergency repairs, refusing to move."
Ba Peng's face showed his displeasure. In order to build the Kra Isthmus Canal, the Jieke Group had found a suitable location on the coast and constructed a dock where ships could dock to transport various materials such as cent, steel, gasoline, diesel, parts, food, and more, conveniently delivered directly to the Canal worksite via rail.
Now, this dock was being blocked by a Temasek cargo ship, undoubtedly disrupting the transfer operations.
"Temasek is getting desperate."
Upon hearing this, Wang Lin also understood the situation. The Temasek-controlled Malacca Strait was threatened; once the Kra Isthmus Canal was completed, the number of ships passing through the Malacca Strait would be reduced by more than half.

As a considerable military force assembled, the Spider Main Battle chas that had been working in the underground tunnel changed out their standard chanical arms for various weapon systems and aggressively headed towards the dock.
By the ti Ba Peng and his team arrived at the dock area, they saw a huge cargo ship with its bow collided against the dock. The ship was damaged, but nowhere close to sinking, yet the other party remained still, blocking the normal docking of other ships.
On the deck's railing, a group of Temasek sailors could be seen arguing with Jieke Group workers below.
"Mr. Ba Peng, these Temasek sailors refuse to disembark,"
The person in charge of the dock hurried over to report the situation.
"Refuse to disembark? We call the shots here. Take everyone into custody. If anyone resists, shoot them,"
Ba Peng, red with anger, picked up the walkie-talkie to communicate with the military officers of the Jieke Group.
Soon after, the sound of helicopters whirring overhead could be heard, and as a helicopter hovered above the cargo ship, several Genetic Warriors leapt down and stord into the vessel.
