Li Yang, with his Level Two ntal Power, has keen observational skills.

He noticed a group of thugs emanating a nacing aura trailing Xiaocheng.

They were there to cause trouble for Xiaocheng.

Suzu paused for a mont, then laughed, her eyes turning into crescent moons:

"Do you really want to help him?

You’ve already got what you wanted, so why bother with him?

Besides, wouldn’t it be better if he just died?

Then no one would know your secret."

As Suzu spoke, she leaned her little face close to Li Yang:

"I know you. You’re not really a good person, you probably don’t care that much about keeping promises."

Suzu’s pupils turned into slits, emitting a faint purple light, her tone becoming hypnotically persuasive:

"Did sothing happen to you in the past that makes you sympathize with this man?

Tell about your past, and I will soothe your wounded soul...

Your past must be delicious!"

Li Yang calmly turned the page of his book:

"For a cat, you sure talk a lot.

By the way, when it’s over, rember to erase that kid’s mory."

How could a cat understand the process of collecting desires?

Since he promised to solve his predicant, then he must do it.

If he went back on the words he said during the ’desire exchange’, who knows what might happen to him.

Xiaocheng’s current predicant isn’t complicated, he just wants to stay away from the person who bullies him.

Or... kill that person!

Suzu giggled:

"Just kidding, can’t you take a joke?

I’m off, rember to buy a tablet tomorrow!"

With that, Suzu disappeared from the pharmacy in a flash.

...

After leaving the pharmacy, Xiaocheng headed ho.

The internship pay wasn’t high, and he was used to walking, not having the habit of taking a taxi.

As he walked into a dark alley, a few thugs blocked his path, looking hostile.

Xiaocheng thought of sothing, terror crossing his face.

He wanted to backtrack, but behind him, more thugs with clubs appeared.

He was surrounded by these n.

The leader of these thugs was a young man dressed luxuriously.

Xiaocheng’s face turned sour:

"Zhou Hang? Why are you here?"

Zhou Hang took out a cigarette, and a thug imdiately lit it for him, exuding a boss-like aura.

Zhou Hang said:

"Do you know how much trouble you’ve caused , you idiot?"

Xiaocheng knew Zhou Hang was retaliating because he reported him to the Sheriff.

Xiaocheng clenched his fist, the pent-up anger bursting forth:

"Zhou Hang, what in the world have I done to offend you!

Why are you doing this to ?!

Why won’t you leave alone!"

Zhou Hang exhaled a puff of smoke and said airily:

"Because it’s fun.

If not you, it would be soone else.

It just so happens that you are that soone.

My dad insists I finish college, but student life is incredibly boring.

You’re like a little dog that likes to show its teeth, which amuses a bit."

Xiaocheng’s eyes widened.

Just for this ridiculous reason?

He gritted his teeth and asked:

"And what about Linlin? Why did you target her!"

Zhou Hang scoffed:

"I didn’t even like that woman.

She had nothing up top and nothing in the back. I like them wild.

I just wanted to see how you’d react if she beca my girl.

Who would’ve thought she’d be so scared she’d jump off a building!"

Xiaocheng murmured in disbelief:

"Just for this?

You ruined a girl just because of this.

Aren’t you afraid of karma?

Aren’t you afraid I’ll get back at you?"

Zhou Hang sneered:

"Get back at ?

Haha, there is no ’after’ for you.

What you saw isn’t in my favor.

My dad always taught , if you seal a mouth, seal it thoroughly."

Xiaocheng was dumbfounded.

What does he an??

Could Zhou Hang really dare to kill soone?

Xiaocheng slowly retreated, leaning against the corner of the wall, breathing heavily:

"Zhou Hang, if you kill , you won’t get away with it!"

Zhou Hang said disdainfully:

"If anything happens, soone will cover for ."

Zhou Hang approached Xiaocheng, his eyes revealing a vicious glint:

"Besides, these friends of mine are professionals.

All the surrounding caras have been smashed by them, so who would know it was who did it?"

At this mont, a soft voice ca from the alley entrance.

"So, you broke all the caras. That saves so trouble.

Honestly, I’m not that fond of killing.

As an elegant witch, the sll of blood is too botherso."

Zhou Hang’s face changed, shouting angrily:

"Who goes there!!"

He quickly looked towards the end of the alley, his expression turning strange.

It was a black cat, elegantly walking this way.

Yes, walking on two legs with grace.

The black cat’s front legs were crossed like a human’s, seemingly in an embrace.

The thugs’ minds went blank.

Anyone who saw such a thing at night would feel creeped out.

"What kind of monster is this!" Zhou Hang’s eyes nearly popped out.

"Run!"

Soone shouted, and the thugs scattered in all directions.

Such things beyond human comprehension incite the most primal fear.

The black cat’s eyes were filled with a mocking intelligence as its body began to grow, eventually resembling a black panther.

"ow!"

The black cat let out a sharp hiss and transford into a black Death God, ruthlessly harvesting the thugs’ lives.

Suzu is no saint.

Even though she’s a cat, she knows that humans who have seen her could bring her great trouble.

In the blink of an eye, the thugs were gutted, and the dark alley beca a hell on earth.

Zhou Hang was the fastest runner, nearly out of the alley.

The black cat looked mockingly at Zhou Hang’s back, its paw dipped in a thug’s blood as it drew a pattern on the ground.

Then, the black cat placed a cigarette butt Zhou Hang had dropped in the center of the pattern.

Zhou Hang stopped in his tracks, as if possessed, and started bashing his head against the wall, ultimately smashing it to pieces.

After finishing its work, the black cat’s purple eyes stared at the terrified Xiaocheng.

Xiaocheng thought the black cat’s gaze was familiar.

Isn’t this the black cat he’s recently been dreaming about at night?

Could it be the pharmacy owner’s pet?

The pharmacy owner made a deal with him, to give up his desires, and he would solve his predicant.

The solution was to use a terrifying creature to kill Zhou Hang?!

The black cat’s eyes flared with purple light, and Xiaocheng’s gaze beca dazed, numbly continuing towards the alley’s entrance.

Suzu chose not to kill Xiaocheng too, as per Li Yang’s instructions.

Using a substantial amount of Spiritual Power, it hypnotized him, sealing all mories of the pharmacy and herself.

There was a taxi waiting at the alley’s entrance, and the driver was also hypnotized.

The taxi sped towards Xiaocheng’s ho.

By the ti Xiaocheng arrived ho, the taxi driver would forget what had just happened.

That’s the magic of the Black Witch’s Black Witchcraft.

Suzu’s Spiritual Power is only at Level One, and perhaps in a decade or so, its Hypnosis on Xiaocheng might wear off.

At that ti, Xiaocheng might vaguely recall today.

He might have a vague mory of a mysterious pharmacy, a strange cat.

And a shopkeeper... who loved collecting desires.
