Cao Yi maintained a smile, but there was a slight chill in his eyes.

This woman had an air of superiority, as if she were a king holding his life and death in her hands.

After so many years, it was the first ti anyone had spoken to him with a tone of judgnt and amusent.

Cao Yi was displeased.

In fact, Cao Yi t Su Yutang long ago, but Su Yutang never wore the sa mask, so it was normal for Cao Yi not to recognize her.

Su Yutang leaned back on the chair, her fingers lightly tapping on her cheek, the tear-shaped mole on her face enchanting under the dim light.

She spoke:

"If I’m not mistaken, you are with the authorities.

Your clothes are all branded, but rather cheap ones.

You’re just using this outfit to suit the occasion.

This style sowhat resembles that of the internal affairs of the Public Security Bureau."

Cao Yi’s eyebrows slightly furrowed.

Su Yutang’s lips curved into a seductive arc, and her fingertips brushed the corner of her eye:

"You’re with the Public Security Bureau, but soone from the Public Security Bureau wouldn’t know so many secrets about the Extraordinary Circle, at least not the ones I don’t know. So...."

Su Yutang paused for a mont, her red lips uttering a few words:

"You’re with the Security Administration."

Cao Yi’s face showed no surprise, but there was unrest in his eyes.

Being so openly exposed by Su Yutang, he felt his reputation was damaged and would not easily swallow this humiliation.

Cao Yi leaned toward Su Yutang, getting close enough to catch the scent of her perfu.

He wore the smile a man has when trying to charm a woman:

"Then let guess the identity of the Black Queen."

Cao Yi took a deep breath, displaying a look of infatuation, and said:

"Slls great."

Su Yutang wouldn’t blush or get angry like a young girl; she gently lifted Cao Yi’s chin, her breath fragrant as orchids:

"Oh?"

Cao Yi, with his eyes closed and a smile, said:

"Smokeless, the blue poison.

When this perfu first debuted, it sold for a high price of two million dollars.

But that’s not its most expensive aspect; it’s rare because it’s been discontinued for years.

While ordinary wealthy people only kept it as a collection, the Black Queen actually dared to use it personally."

Su Yutang’s expression paused for a mont.

Cao Yi continued:

"Even though the Black Queen speaks Mandarin very well, to my ears, there’s still a bit of a South Sea accent.

The Black Queen is from the South Sea, right? A wealthy family in the South Sea."

There are only a few tycoons in the South Sea; if you investigate carefully, you can find out the Black Queen’s identity.

Cao Yi, able to beco the Director of the South Sea Public Security Bureau at thirty, and the Director of the Security Administration at thirty-three, didn’t rely on flattery.

He had real skills.

But Cao Yi wouldn’t break the rules or dean himself by insisting on uncovering the identity of the Black Queen.

As it stood, Cao Yi had a chance to befriend Su Yutang; if he really investigated, they’d only beco enemies.

Su Yutang still wore an elegant and enchanting smile:

"Good eye."

Cao Yi smiled, saying nothing more.

At this mont, the door of the conference room swung open, and a figure walked in.

He was dressed in a black trench coat, black suit, and wore a black round hat.

The mont this person entered, the room fell silent.

Su Yutang and Cao Yi, who were locked in their ga, sat upright with solemnity.

He walked toward the front, to a throne-like black stone chair, each step seed to tread on everyone’s heart, causing their breath to catch.

The originally dim light deliberately avoided this person, as if he shouldn’t be touched by the light, not worthy of sharing its glory.

This was the chairman of the Demon Club, the only deity in the Mortal World, Death God!

Li Yang sat on the black stone chair, his hands resting naturally on either side.

The two Apostles seated at the front moved.

The Fallen Angel, exuding pride and arrogance, approached Li Yang and placed a cup of hot tea before the broad armrest.

The Enchanting Demon, with a bewitching and sensual figure, swayed her hips as she arrived, producing a cigarette and delivering it to Li Yang’s lips, lighting it with the Demon’s fla.

These two impeccably powerful beauties, who commanded the wind and rain as Death God’s Apostles outside this room, were re humble maids of Death God within.

Li Yang, with a cigarette in his lips and a teacup in hand, spoke in a hoarse voice that echoed:

"Long ti no see."

He behaved casually, like just an ordinary gaming geek discussing strategies for a raid with his guild mates.

However, the people in this conference room were no re gaming boys; each was a prominent figure in their own right.

The usual CEO charisma and official authority of the demonic capitalists were thoroughly overshadowed by Li Yang.

Under Li Yang’s imposing presence, they felt overwheld.

Li Yang gently placed the teacup down.

The porcelain cup clinking against the black stone armrest produced a clear, crisp sound.

This sound in the eerily quiet room was like thunder, making the hearts of the demon mbers tremble.

Li Yang softly spoke:

"The apocalypse of the Mortal World is imminent."

Everyone’s faces turned to astonishnt.

The apocalypse of the Mortal World?

Hearing such a statent under normal circumstances, they would think either their ears were failing or the speaker had lost their mind.

But these were the words of Death God!

They believed Death God would never joke about such things!

Li Yang exhaled a breath of turbid air and said eerily:

"Those things are coming again."

The mbers of the Demon Club exchanged bewildered looks.

What are those things?

They wouldn’t forget the purpose of the Demon Club’s existence.

To guard the Mortal World!

Could it be that rebellious ghosts from Hell were crawling out?

Or was it that the gods from the Celestial Realm intended to unleash divine punishnt upon the Mortal World?

They recalled intelligence obtained in ancient tomb ruins.

Death God had fought with so Celestial Beings, a war between Hell and the Celestial Realm!

Were those things Death God ntioned those very beings?

Cao Yi’s eyes burned with intensity; he knew what those things were, as he was the only one present who knew.

They were the monsters from the black rift!

.....

The eting had been ongoing for half an hour.

Their worldview was being challenged.

Celestial Race, the black rift...

It sounded like a legend where beings from the Celestial Realm tore through space fissures to dominate the Mortal World.

But those beings from the Celestial Realm were not the benevolent figures of mythology, but terrifying monsters.

They seed more like extraterrestrials from another planet, opening a ti-space tunnel through so ans, intending to plunder and enslave the Mortal World.

No matter which view, those Celestial Race beings harbored ill intentions!

Li Yang lit another cigarette, the nicotine spreading throughout the conference room.

He looked indifferently at the mbers:

"Any questions to ask?"

The mbers’ faces were complex, what questions could they possibly ask?

Or rather, they had too many questions they wanted to ask.

So were very frightened.

Wars between human nations were sothing they could handle; most were businessn, singers, artists, who could sohow use their influence to avoid disaster.

But a war between two worlds, where could they possibly hide?

So felt rather fortunate that they could join the Demon Club.

In this organization created by Death God, if a conflict of such magnitude broke out, they’d fare much better than ordinary people.
