Dalinton Street, God Creation Group branch.
In the top-floor office, Jin stood in front of the floor-to-ceiling windows, watching the Thousand-Year Scorpion go berserk.
A bald strong man walked in:
"Sir, Rock hopes we’ll lend a hand."
Jin nodded:
"Then send the Evolvers here to go play with that scorpion."
The bald man respectfully replied:
"Yes!"
In no ti, a large group of Evolvers from the God Creation Group branch set off for the battlefield.
Each of those Evolvers had the power of a Tier One Transcendent.
But this level of power was not enough in front of the Thousand-Year Scorpion.
Jin knew this too.
The mont he saw the Thousand-Year Scorpion, he knew it wasn’t a monster that an Evolver could contend with.
Nevertheless, he still sent the Evolvers to confront it.
Jin stepped closer to the floor-to-ceiling window, his golden pupils seriously watching the battle between the Thousand-Year Scorpion and the Evolvers.
He was learning.
Jin was an obsessive guy.
Perhaps, even at the mont of his death, Jin would still be engrossed in learning and thinking.
Jin was observing the Thousand-Year Scorpion’s fighting style, pondering its structure.
After fighting Vampires, Jin could turn his foster son Simon into a Technological Werewolf, on even ground with the Eternal Night Castle’s Vampire—Baron Violet.
In his mind, he was already analyzing and disassembling the Thousand-Year Scorpion.
Slowly, after figuring out an extrely difficult problem, his eyes filled with intense excitent:
"The second generation of Evolvers can begin to be attempted."
Just then, Jin suddenly saw sothing.
He noticed a young man in a black suit, wearing a bowler hat, on the second-floor balcony of a café not far from the company.
Jin squinted his eyes, observing more closely.
This young man had an aura of nobility, calmly smoking on the second-floor terrace, starkly contrasting with the fleeing civilians and the fighting Sheriffs and Evolvers.
The young man sensed Jin’s gaze and lifted his indifferent eyes, his look crossing the street, crossing the battlefield, penetrating layers of buildings and crowds, looking straight at Jin in front of the top floor’s window.
Jin frowned.
Jin’s intuition told him that this young man was the instigator of this chaos.
Simultaneously, Jin’s instincts told him that this young man was his nesis.
All the setbacks in Xia Country were orchestrated by this young man; he was the mastermind behind the scenes.
Jin picked up an expensive bottle of red wine from the cabinet, filled a glass, and then casually tossed the red wine onto the carpet.
He raised his wine glass, signaling remotely towards Li Yang.
Li Yang reached out, wanting to take the small sweet water from Suzu’s hand.
Suzu was already aware, hugged the sweet water, and quickly ran to the side, vigilantly watching Li Yang, like a small beast guarding its food.
Li Yang’s old face turned black, he adjusted his expression, and nodded slightly at Jin.
The two no longer looked at each other, but instead focused their attention on the battle on the street.
On the battlefield, death continued, and these two people were a pair of onlookers, watching attentively.
...
From the high buildings near Dalinton Street, the company employees, and the residents in the apartnts watched below in horror.
The world was becoming increasingly incomprehensible to them.
A giant scorpion inexplicably appeared in the street, and the Sheriffs’ weapons had no effect on it.
Now, a group of human-like creatures appeared to battle the giant scorpion.
What on earth was happening in this world?
Their worldviews were being shattered.
Nurous vehicles appeared on Dalinton Street, from which erged a crowd of broadcast journalists with caras and microphones.
Today’s events, whether sensational or sothing else, were being blown up.
Whosoever could capture a complete docuntation would go viral globally.
Even reporters from radio stations began live broadcasts.
The Evolvers, facing the Thousand-Year Scorpion, were completely one-sidedly being beaten.
They despairingly realized they couldn’t break through the Thousand-Year Scorpion’s defenses.
The surviving Evolvers remained alive only because the Thousand-Year Scorpion hadn’t noticed them.
At this mont, on the opposite side of the street, another disturbance arose.
A group of mysterious people wearing strange costus and skulls appeared.
These were the Seven Commandnts Association believers!
"First Commandnt: Must devoutly worship the Death God.
Second Commandnt: Do not call the Death God’s na directly, refer to him as My Lord, the Death God.
Third Commandnt: Must execute the orders of the Death God, Apostles, and higher-ups of the Seven Commandnts Association.
...
Seventh Commandnt: Do not be cowardly, be brave to explore, brave to fight."
These missionaries of the Seven Commandnts Association, chanting the commandnts, marched onto the battlefield.
The two leading priests loudly shouted:
"For the glory of the Death God, for the honor of the Seven Commandnts Association, by divine decree, destroy the evil."
These mbers of the Seven Commandnts Association muttered spells, and hundreds of zombies and skeletons in black robes appeared from all directions, pouncing on the Thousand-Year Scorpion like wild beasts.
The Thousand-Year Scorpion casually swung its tail.
Dozens of zombies and skeletons were smashed into pieces.
The priests were shocked to see this scene.
The warriors created by the Seven Commandnts Association’s divine technique were of no use against the Thousand-Year Scorpion?
One priest seriously observed the Thousand-Year Scorpion, speaking solemnly:
"This monster is an undead creature!
Use divine technique to suppress it!"
The divine technique of the Seven Commandnts Association, primarily capable of creating undead.
The Seven Commandnts Association’s divine technique had another ability, one with no effect on ordinary people but was highly effective in battling undead creatures.
The Seven Commandnts Association’s divine technique can suppress the undead!
Just like the Beast Tar’s rope can restrain lions and tigers.
The mbers of the Seven Commandnts Association, hearing this, imdiately murmured obscure and incomprehensible spells.
Sure enough, the Thousand-Year Scorpion was affected, and its movents began to slow down.
...
At this mont, in Huaqi, hundreds of millions of households were playing the scene unfolding on Dalinton Street.
The female reporter, risking her life, narrated:
"Currently, the mysterious people claiming to be from the Seven Commandnts Association have controlled the monster!
Our backend has investigated the origin of the Seven Commandnts Association, and it’s an organization that worships the Death God.
With the Spiritual Energy Revival from Xia Country, who knows if the mythic era will truly descend!"
At that mont, the terrified cry of a caraman ca from the television:
"It’s bad, the monster has broken free from the Seven Commandnts Association’s restraints!"
The female reporter quickly turned her head, her face full of horror.
The mbers of the Seven Commandnts Association using divine techniques, ultimately due to insufficient Spiritual Power, allowed the Thousand-Year Scorpion to break free of control.
The mbers of the Seven Commandnts Association were all pale, spitting blood, looking at the form of the Thousand-Year Scorpion with dread.
On the rooftop of the God Creation Group sub-company, Jin cracked his neck:
"I’ve seen enough, it’s my turn now."
Jin’s thoughts coincided astonishingly with Li Yang’s plans.
Amidst the greatest chaos caused by the Thousand-Year Scorpion, they would step out to tilt the collapsing building, and simultaneously garner the awe, reverence, and love of all the civilians in Huaqi.
Just as Jin was about to jump off the high building to confront the Thousand-Year Scorpion, another change occurred on the scene!
The street filled with thick black smoke, the alarm and gunfire of cars intertwined.
The sun’s light suddenly dimd as if obscured by sothing.
The crowd looked up at the sky, eyes filled with astonishnt.
It was a beautiful woman, a woman with a noble temperant.
Wearing a black dress, in black high heels, legs wrapped in stockings, with flowing long hair.
Incredibly, that woman had a pair of giant black wings at her waist!
Black feathers, like black snow, drifted down from the sky, covering this part of the street.
This is an Angel!
A legendary Angel!
Does this an the mythic era would really arrive?
The mythic era has already arrived!
"By the decree of my God, exterminate the evil spirits."
The Fallen Angel Chen Yuqi clasped her hands together, her ethereal voice resonating through the entire street and clearly present in the television broadcast.
The female reporter, coming back to her senses, imdiately directed the caraman:
"Quick! Focus on the Angel!"
The mbers of the Seven Commandnts Association, seeing the Fallen Angel, displayed fervor, kneeling down, clasping their hands, greeting the emissary of the Death God.
Jin looked completely astonished, he suddenly turned to look at the young man on the second floor of the café.
This young man, is he a God?!
