Huaqi, Seven-Angled Tower.
Netran was leaning over the desk, reviewing various materials from Yinodton State.
According to his findings, in addition to those Extraordinary beings bathed in the Blood Moon, there should be another group of Extraordinary beings in Yinodton State.
This group of Extraordinary beings helped stabilize the situation in Yinodton State.
"Seven Commandnts Association?"
Netran muttered to himself suspiciously.
In the remaining surveillance footage, those wearing strange costus and skull masks were indeed from the Seven Commandnts Association.
Netran pondered for a mont, picked up the phone on the desk and said:
"Look into the Seven Commandnts Association in detail."
The command was received on the other end, and Netran hung up the phone.
There was a knock on the office door.
Netran said:
"Co in."
Two figures, one large and one small, entered from outside.
The man had long golden hair, appearing as majestic as if sculpted by a master craftsman.
The small boy was thin, clutching the man’s finger tightly, looking timid.
Netran was taken aback, rising sowhat hastily:
"Mr. Jin, what brings you here?"
Jin sat silently on the sofa, the boy sitting beside him.
Netran went to the coffee machine, personally made a cup of coffee, and handed it to Jin, saying:
"Mr. Jin, my people were planning to visit you, but I didn’t expect you to co in person."
Jin offered the coffee to the boy.
The little boy was Little Peter, this was his first ti drinking coffee.
Jin glanced at Little Peter and said:
"This is my adopted son, he said he wanted to see the Seven-Angled Tower, so I brought him here."
Jin raised his eyes:
"Coincidentally, there’s a collaboration between us to discuss."
The implication was that discussing the collaboration was secondary; bringing the child to visit the Seven-Angled Tower was the main purpose.
Pride, rudeness, arrogance.
Netran, though displeased, did not show it, and replied with a forced smile:
"Hehe, well then, let’s discuss... "
Jin said:
"I know what you want, and you happen to have sothing I want as well.
I can assign the Evolvers of the God Creation Group to work at the Seven-Angled Tower.
Moreover, I can share so of the gene evolution technology with you."
Netran was overjoyed, not expecting the conversation to go so smoothly!
Inwardly, Netran felt secretly lucky; this new Sect Leader of the God Creation Group—Jin—was indeed still young.
Unlike Leon Jin, this young man nad Jin still harbored so fear of the authorities.
Just that Netran didn’t know, Jin was actually Leon Jin, resurrected.
Jin’s next sentence made Netran’s face darken.
Jin said:
"In return, I want the enforcent rights of the Huaqi Extraordinary Circle, I want the ’patent’ for the entire Huaqi Extraordinary Circle."
Though it’s only the enforcent rights over the Extraordinary Circle and doesn’t concern the ordinary world, it includes too much.
For instance, the handling of Extraordinary individuals, or the ownership of Extraordinary Beasts.
Netran fell into an internal struggle.
Currently, Huaqi relies on organizations like the God Creation Group to deal with the threats brought by the Spiritual Energy Revival.
But in the future, the Seven-Angled Tower also wants to delve deeper into the Extraordinary World once the situation stabilizes.
However, Jin essentially wants to monopolize Huaqi’s Extraordinary World.
Everything in Huaqi operates as usual, except that Huaqi will forever lose its ability to intervene in the Extraordinary Circle.
Netran forced a smile:
"That might be a bit inappropriate."
Jin glanced at Netran:
"You want stability, don’t you?
Spiritual Energy Revival is an instability factor for you, isn’t it?
The instability factor has been taken over by the God Creation Group, you lose nothing.
In fact, you’re profiting because you have the protection of the Evolvers I provide.
You’ve seen my Evolvers, they’re far superior to your agents."
Netran pressed his lips tightly together.
Though he held a high position of power in Huaqi, his authority was useless in front of Jin, the Sect Leader of the God Creation Group.
It’s quite terrifying when a businessman, a scientist, no longer needs to rely on dostic developnt and can even counterbalance the authorities.
If the God Creation Group left Huaqi, not only would Huaqi lose a significant portion of its inco, but it also ant a complete fallout with the God Creation Group.
A group of mysterious and unpredictable Evolvers might be a butcher’s knife aid at so of their high-ranking officials.
Netran, like a deflated balloon, slumped into his chair:
"Can’t we negotiate further?"
Jin looked at his watch:
"My ti is precious, there will be people from the God Creation Group coordinating the upcoming projects with you.
As for whether you want to cooperate with , feel free to take your ti to consider, Mr. Netran."
With that, Jin took Little Peter by the hand and leisurely left the office.
Jin didn’t consider this arrogance.
You don’t have the capability to solve the problem, and I can dissolve the difficulties, so I should be the one in power.
After Jin left, Netran angrily slamd the desk.
Even though he stood at the pinnacle of power in Huaqi, he had to be manipulated by a businessman!
But there’s nothing to be done, as the worldly ways have no effect on the God Creation Group.
...
Huaqi, New City, so apartnt.
Netran unlocked the door with a key and walked into his own residence.
This apartnt was where he lived alone.
He had a family, a wife, and three children.
Netran didn’t like going ho; he preferred living alone outside.
In this apartnt, he would often bring won back for leisure.
However, today Netran wasn’t in the mood.
Opening the door, he found the corner lamp by the floor-to-ceiling window was on.
Soone was there.
Netran suddenly pulled out his gun, aiming at the spot:
"Who’s there!"
A woman slowly walked out from the corner by the window.
The woman had an explosive figure, large chest and hips, which was to Netran’s taste.
She wore ultra-short leather shorts, a leather bustier, over-the-knee high-heeled boots, and a leather trench coat draped over her shoulders.
If it weren’t for the skull mask she wore, Netran would have thought she was a woman one of his subordinates found to help him relax.
Netran knew what the skull mask represented.
The Seven Commandnts Association, this woman was from the Seven Commandnts Association!
How did she find him?!
The woman’s na was Sasha, and her identity in reality was a small-ti bank employee.
When working at the bank, she wore frumpy clothes, posing as a bullied eccentric woman.
But at night, within the Seven Commandnts Association, and on the Seven Commandnts live-streaming app, she was the Dark Mother, with a large following, and a loyal Black Knight to the Death God!
Sasha sauntered with a catwalk stride to the swivel chair, gently turning the chair.
Sitting in the chair was a woman in a black robe, the hood large, obscuring her face.
This woman was nad Jessica, the operations director at tt Short Video headquarters, and a Priestess of the Seven Commandnts Association.
Netran spoke again:
"What are your intentions!"
Sasha smirked with an alluring smile, snapping her fingers lightly.
From various hidden corners of the apartnt, black-robed zombies moved chanically, approaching Netran.
Netran fired at the zombies.
Bullets had no effect on them.
