Cao Yi habitually touched his lower back.
He didn’t bring his gun.
No worries. To deal with ordinary thugs, Cao Yi didn’t need to use his hands.
He could cripple soone with just his feet.
He ran towards a certain alley following the sound.
...
The alley was pitch dark, with only the flickering streetlights offering a bit of light.
Two n, grinning wickedly, were tearing at a woman’s clothes.
The woman was wearing a business outfit, looking like a white-collar worker working late.
"Mister, I’ll give you money, please don’t do this, let go!"
The white-collar woman was clutching her skirt tightly, crying out in panic.
The man’s hands didn’t behave, and he chuckled:
"What kind of decent woman wanders the streets late at night?
And wearing black stockings, isn’t it just to show off to n?"
The white-collar woman tearfully explained that it was just her normal work uniform.
The other man slapped her face with a loud smack.
The force was strong, sending the woman crumbling to the ground, bleeding from the corner of her mouth, and she looked fearfully at the man while covering her face.
Even so, her other hand still firmly covered her chest.
The man beca angrier, pointing at the woman and swore:
"You b****, wearing a suit skirt, black stockings, high heels, just like in adult films.
Could you be a decent woman?
Covering your chest, afraid the poor will see, the rich won’t?
Do you know who I am?
Even those rich guys call grandpa!"
The woman wept helplessly, shaking her head.
The two n, excited by her lamb-like deanor, licked their lips wanting to enjoy her.
Just then, footsteps sounded at the alley entrance, and the two n looked over warily.
Cao Yi strolled over leisurely.
Lighting a cigarette as he walked, he said coolly:
"I’m in a bad mood today, you’ve got yourselves into trouble."
The two n saw Cao Yi acting so cocky, taunting:
"Which little punk cos barking in front of us?"
Cao Yi pulled out his ID:
"Sheriff."
The two n exchanged a glance, seeing disdain in each other’s eyes.
They stood up, rolling up their sleeves:
"We didn’t want to bother with you, but since you’re a sheriff, you’ll taste how tough we are."
The two n said as they rushed toward Cao Yi.
Cao Yi shook his head with a smile:
"Really asking for it, huh?"
Then, a fist enlarged in front of him.
Cao Yi’s eyes widened in shock. So fast!
"Poof!"
Cao Yi spat a mouthful of blood, flying two or three ters away.
Cao Yi looked incredulously at the two n.
Their fists were actually covered with a layer of steam!
These were Extraordinary people!
This pair of brothers were jobless drifters from the old city, living miserably.
In South Sea, a tropolitan economic hub, so long as you’re willing to work, either physically or ntally, one wouldn’t starve.
This pair of brothers was too lazy, unwilling to do legitimate work, and couldn’t handle being thugs.
Starving three days out of nine.
Their biggest life change was the day they went to the mountains and dug up so wild greens.
Among the greens, there happened to be two blades of grass endowed with Spiritual Power by Li Yang.
Those were two Extraordinary Grass.
After eating the greens, the brothers slept for a day and discovered sothing extraordinary when they woke up.
So people have talent for farming, so for doing business, everyone has their gifts.
If you must say soone is useless, it’s just that their talents lie in areas environnt does not currently reach.
These brothers had decent Cultivation Talent.
They quickly mastered so uses of Spiritual Power, like covering their fists with a layer of airflow.
Their fists beca harder, and their punch had less air resistance, making them faster!
And so, a couple of small-ti hooligans turned into big villains.
Whether the Spiritual Energy Revival is a flaw to the world is unknown.
There are righteous ones like Zhang Xiaoyi, and evil people like these two brothers.
The future world doesn’t know if there will be more such villains, even worse!
Just as the brothers were about to disable Cao Yi, an aged voice ca from the roof.
"Disciple, rare to have two evil friends for to demonstrate, watch closely."
The brothers looked up, shouting:
"Who’s there!"
Ever since possessing Spiritual Power, their five senses far exceeded ordinary people.
Yet they hadn’t noticed soone on the roof?!
On the roof sat an old man in a tattered Daoist Robe, white-haired and bearded.
Following the old Daoist was a man in his thirties.
The old man had an aura of a reclusive master.
The disciple seed honest and respectful, saying reverently:
"Thank you, Master, for making a move!"
The brothers were a bit panicked, asking:
"Who exactly are you?"
The old Daoist displayed a row of white teeth:
"Heh heh heh, I am the Celestial Age Taoist!
eting , you two juniors are out of luck!"
This Celestial Age Taoist was none other than the first human the Tree of Human Essence encountered, the madman Mo Yulin.
The brothers’ eyes were uneasy.
Celestial Age Taoist? Sounds impressive!
Mo Yulin chuckled grimly, leaped from the rooftop!
He lost his balance, making a big fall.
He quickly got up, hands clasped behind his back, speaking cryptically:
"You can attack first, lest they say I, a Taoist, bully the young!"
As if his earlier tumble hadn’t happened
The brothers cursed, idiot, and swung their fists towards Mo Yulin.
Mo Yulin flicked his fingers, and from within his robe, he pulled out a piece of yellow paper.
The yellow paper was etched with a Talisman.
This Talisman was Mo Yulin’s own creation.
The brothers reached him, and calmly, Mo Yulin tossed the Talisman Paper out.
"Boom!"
After a piercing explosion, the air quaked, directly flipping the brothers onto the ground.
They spat blood, eyes filled with veins of blood, eardrums burst.
Indeed, Mo Yulin is a genius.
After uncovering the marvel of shared Spiritual Power, he attempted to deposit Spiritual Power onto Talisman Paper.
The Talisman Paper could be thrown to detonate the Spiritual Power within, causing violent air turbulence!
Mo Yulin founded a Sect, the Talisman Sect.
Currently, the Talisman Sect only has him and his disciple.
Disciple Han Hai, seeing his master’s prowess, bowed:
"Master’s divine might!"
Mo Yulin raised his head proudly.
Han Hai thought for a mont, then asked:
"Master, when can I control Talismans without reciting spells?"
Mo Yulin said:
"That’s because your mind is impure, incapable of crafting a Mother Talisman.
You must diligently Cultivate to achieve great talent!"
Han Hai, full of yearning, asked:
"When will you teach the Spiritual Body Gathering Technique, Master?
Once I learn it, I’m sure I can craft a Mother Talisman successfully!"
Mo Yulin shook his head:
"Not yet.
I have a premonition, sothing remarkable is going to appear.
There, lies the grand fortune for you and , disciple.
When the ti cos, I will naturally teach you the Spiritual Body Gathering Technique."
Mo Yulin said as he walked out of the alley.
Disciple Han Hai hurried to follow.
The master and disciple ignored Cao Yi, walking right past him.
Cao Yi hung his head, face in shadow, fingers tearing at the concrete ground, nails cracked, blood oozing out.
The abused woman gingerly approached:
"Are you, are you alright?"
Cao Yi shook his head, picked up a brick nearby, walked to the brothers rolling on the ground.
His face was extrely gloomy, eyes filled with murderous intent, grasping the brick so hard his fingers turned white.
"Sigh!"
Cao Yi dejectedly dropped the brick, dialed a number on his phone:
"Xinyang Street, number ninety-eight, arrest two suspects."
