With a loud ’bang,’ Yara Yates and Mason Langley were both startled, and they imdiately separated in shock.
When she recognized the person at the door, Yara’s face was panic-stricken, "Na...Nathan, you...why are you here..."
Nathan Nash let out a cold laugh, glaring at Yara with eyes wide open in fury, "Why am I here? If I didn’t co, how could I have witnessed such a good show? Yara, how dare you betray !"
Yara panicked and instinctively began to explain, "Nathan, listen to my explanation."
Nathan was furious and gritted his teeth. He had already seen everything with his own eyes, what else was there to say?
anwhile, Mason Langley slowly put on his clothes, a cold smile on his face, making him particularly disgusting.
Nathan glared at Yara, gritting his teeth: "What have I done to wrong you that you would do this to !"
Yara didn’t want to provoke Nathan further; she cried as she spoke, "It’s not what you think, I had no choice."
Nathan stared at her tear-stained face, heartbroken.
He usually cherished Yara deeply, yet she repaid him like this. Looking at her heartbroken face, rembering how indifferent she had been to him just now, Nathan felt this woman was truly an actress.
"Stop pretending. I heard everything you said. You’re revolting!"
Mason stepped forward, looking at Nathan with a sinister cold smile, "Well, it’s your fault for not satisfying Yara, so she’s pining after ."
Nathan let out a roar and lunged forward, grappling with Mason. Yara watched them fight, montarily unsure of what to do.
"What are you standing there for? Hurry and help ," Mason said to Yara.
Yara hesitated for a mont, then stepped forward to help.
Nathan couldn’t fight against the two of them alone and was soon subdued.
Mason tied him up with a bed sheet, looking at Nathan with a cold smile, "Since you already know, and you’ve forced your way in, don’t bla for being rude."
Originally, he planned to act later, when his forces were strong enough. But since they were caught, he decided to act ahead of schedule.
"Let go! What do you want to do?"
Mason’s smile grew vicious, "What do I want to do? Naturally, I don’t think you’re fit to be the Nash Family Head, so I’d like to replace you."
Nathan glared at Yara, gritting his teeth angrily, "You’re helping an outsider seize my Nash Family?"
Yara had already taken action, and now there was no point in saying more.
She gritted her teeth and said, "Nathan, don’t bla either."
Nathan laughed bitterly, feeling heart-wrenching pain; over the years, he had been blind, marrying such a heartless woman!
Mason let out a cold laugh, leaning closer to say, "Nathan Nash, there’s sothing I’ve wanted to tell you for a long ti. Your eldest daughter, I abandoned her. I threw her into an orphanage; her outco is probably not good, hahahaha..."
"You!" Nathan’s chest surged with rage, and a tallic taste filled his throat, nearly choking him.
Nancy Nash wasn’t his daughter; his real daughter had been discarded by Yara and this man!
"Lock him up. I’m going to start taking over the Nash Family." Mason instructed soone and then left with Yara.
Nathan roared, "You vile couple! You won’t die a good death; you will face retribution!"
With a bang, the door slamd shut.
Nathan was overwheld with sorrow, betrayed by the person beside him who conspired with outsiders to seize his family assets; he was utterly finished.
Outside the door, Estelle Sterling and Caleb Faulkner watched the commotion unfold, clicking their tongues, "Good thing I didn’t rush in too; otherwise, I’d be singing a dirge by now."
"So what do we do now?"
"Rescue him, of course. What else can we do."
Estelle frowned, "The lock seems pretty strong; our small statures might not be enough."
Caleb glanced over and said, "Let’s go find the big guy to help."
