Yara searched the bedroom thoroughly but couldn’t find the Poison Scripture.

Honestly, she had no idea where it was hidden.

That’s why she hadn’t handed it over to Mason; her eyes shifted, deciding to coax information from Nathan Nash.

Yara ordered a lavish spread of alcohol and dishes.

When Nathan returned, he found Yara waiting for him, with a table full of delicacies in front of her. He couldn’t help but smile, saying, "Why the leisure to drink with today?"

"We haven’t celebrated our wedding anniversary in a long ti, so today I wanted to make up for it. Co and sit down." Yara beckoned him.

Such a rare mont of warmth; Nathan didn’t hold back. He approached her with a big smile.

Yara poured him a drink, "Here you go."

Nathan downed it in one gulp.

Under Yara’s attentive service, Nathan quickly beca utterly drunk, slumping on the table, eyes glazed over.

"Nathan, where have you put the Nash Family’s Poison Scripture? Can you tell ?" Yara whispered in his ear.

"Ugh..." Nathan lifted his head, squinting at Yara, "Why do you want the Nash Family’s Poison Scripture? It’s a family heirloom!"

Seeing Nathan answer so seriously, Yara’s heart jumped, fearing he wasn’t drunk enough and she would be exposed.

But after that sentence, Nathan started to ramble about many other things.

Only then did Yara relax, realizing he was speaking drunken gibberish.

"Nathan, where’s the Poison Scripture? Can you tell ?" Yara asked another ti.

Nathan murmured, "I... I hid it in the safe, the key is, is in my pocket..."

Yara’s expression brightened, but she remained calm, saying, "Let help you to bed."

After speaking, Yara imdiately assisted Nathan into the room to rest. Once he was lying down, she discreetly grabbed the key from him.

Nathan was already deeply asleep.

Taking advantage of this mont, Yara quickly left with the key.

After Yara left, the room’s door opened again, and Estelle Sterling and Caleb Faulkner sneakily entered.

The two found Big Bull too foolish, fearing he would impede their plans, so they didn’t bring him along.

Entering, they were hit by a strong sll of alcohol.

"I just heard that woman trying to get information. She took the key to retrieve the Poison Scripture. What should we do?"

Caleb furrowed his brow, looking at Nathan slumped like a dead pig, saying, "Let’s wake him up first. Do you have anything to sober him up?"

Estelle rummaged in her pocket, then pulled out a bottle, "This is from Elara."

Caleb nodded, then took it.

He removed a pill and stuffed it into Nathan’s mouth.

Nathan groaned and opened his eyes, confusedly gazing around. Only then did he rember he had been drinking with Yara, but seed to have gotten drunk.

"You’re awake." A youthful voice sounded.

Nathan was startled, looking at Estelle and Caleb, with wariness and alertness in his eyes, "Who are you kids? How did you get in here?"

Estelle sneered, "Never mind who we are; the most important thing right now is your wife going to steal the Nash Family’s Poison Scripture."

"What!" Nathan’s mind was muddled, unable to process.

After thinking for a mont, he firmly denied, "Impossible, Yara wouldn’t do that, you’re lying!"
