Estelle Sterling looked utterly frustrated as she went to find Eleanor Sterling to vent.
The result was Eleanor Sterling holding her belly, laughing so hard she bent over, tears streaming down her face.
Alaric Faulkner quickly steadied his wife, speaking softly, "Be careful, you’re not alone now."
Eleanor Sterling’s belly had grown bigger, and she needed to be more cautious than before.
Hearing Alaric Faulkner’s words, Eleanor Sterling subdued her laughter slightly. She looked at Estelle Sterling and asked, "You say you can’t understand what’s going on in a girl’s mind, but what did you do to make her react like that?"
Estelle Sterling frowned, "I didn’t do anything."
It was Chloe who kept crying in front of him and then suddenly ran off looking heartbroken, which made him feel aggrieved and wronged.
But he couldn’t bring himself to coax her, so in his frustration, he could only seek guidance from Eleanor Sterling.
Unexpectedly, Eleanor Sterling not only didn’t comfort him but mocked him instead, making Estelle Sterling feel even more frustrated.

However, it’s not her place to interfere with children’s matters, especially since they’re still young, and the future is uncertain.
Alaric Faulkner’s eyes glead with strategic thoughts.
Eleanor Sterling quickly tugged at him and asked, "Hey, what are you scheming now?"
Alaric Faulkner chuckled softly, "Nothing, just wondering how old Mason and his sibling will be when we capture Mason Langley, and if they’ll be ready to shoulder the Faulkner Family’s responsibilities."
Eleanor Sterling almost coughed up blood at his words.
Looks like Alaric Faulkner has been planning to throw the Faulkner Family responsibilities on them since they were young, hence the frantic training of the two kids.
But right now, since their son is still a minor, he might have to endure a few more years.
"Stop overthinking, I’ll be with you, and we’ll talk about it when they grow up."
Alaric Faulkner sighed helplessly. He wanted to enjoy a world of just the two of them, but with her saying this, he could hang on a bit longer.
