At the Keating Family ho, Estelle Sterling and Caleb Faulkner hurriedly ran into the room.
"Sister Eleanor, Sister Eleanor, big news!"
Eleanor Sterling looked at the newcors and asked, "What big news has got you running over here in such a rush?"
"Aunt Wendy is coming to visit us!"
Eleanor was taken aback and quickly sat up straight, "What did you say?"
"Yes, we just got the news and ca straight over to tell you."
Eleanor’s eyes darted around; did this an they wouldn’t need to go to the Sharp Family for the ti being?
Alaric Faulkner walked in from outside and handed the docunts in his hand to Eleanor, saying, "That’s right, Wendy Carson is indeed coming to the Keating Family. Here are detailed records of her and Xavier Keating over the years for you to review."
Eleanor took the docunts and skimd through them quickly, gaining a preliminary understanding of Wendy Carson.
She hadn’t expected Wendy to be a hypnotist and also skilled in aromatherapy.
"Is she coming for my mother?" Eleanor imdiately made the connection.
"Yes, she’s likely coming to prepare Concentration Incense for Mother-in-law, hoping to wake her up."
Eleanor nodded. The incense crafted by a skilled perfur indeed had so unique effects. Her sister-in-law was quite impressive.
Even without having t her, Eleanor already felt a growing fondness for her. What a pity it would be if Xavier missed out on her.
"This is also a good thing; we don’t have to go through the trouble of visiting the Sharp Family for now."
Alaric shook his head. He didn’t want to dampen Eleanor’s spirits, but he had to remind her.
"Wendy and Carter Sharp’s wedding is in just five days, and the invitations are already out. Unless sothing significant happens to prevent it."
Eleanor pursed her lips, feeling a bit helpless.
Alaric continued, "Moreover, that woman of Xavier’s has already moved into the Keating Family with her child.
When Wendy arrives, she’s bound to see them. It would be like stabbing a knife into her heart, making reconciliation between her and Xavier almost impossible."
Eleanor couldn’t help but feel a bit exasperated. Things seed a bit tricky; what should she do?
She looked up at Alaric and asked, "What’s Xavier’s attitude towards those two won?"
"I don’t know."
Alaric felt sowhat helpless. He wasn’t free to follow every little issue with his brother-in-law, and if it weren’t for Eleanor, he wouldn’t even care.
Eleanor also couldn’t go and ask Xavier; her eyes turned to the few little ones nearby.
"Hey, you guys, go and gauge Xavier’s stance, see what he really ans. If he truly has feelings for Miss Carson, then I’ll give him a hand."
"Understood!" Estelle Sterling and Caleb Faulkner responded in unison.
The two of them headed straight for Xavier Keating’s villa.
Xavier was working in his study, staring at the ti on the screen, and his eyebrows suddenly knit tightly together.
Only five days left...
Xavier’s handso face suddenly beca cold and stern, a storm brewing in his eyes. Back then, in a coma, he couldn’t rember if he had done anything.
But Wendy was unwilling to forgive him and turned around to marry soone else. Xavier took a deep breath, a sense of helplessness welling up inside him.
He wanted to crash the wedding, but as the eldest son of the Keating Family, with the entire family behind him, he couldn’t act on personal desires.
Wendy would forever be his unattainable love; he would bless her and hope she finds happiness in the future.
