Eleanor Sterling patted Yvette Ray’s shoulder and said, "I was just joking, don’t take it to heart. Since he’s out of danger, I won’t disturb you. I’ll head back now."

What does it an to not disturb them? Yvette felt a bit speechless.
But she still said, "Be careful on your way."
After saying that, Eleanor pulled Alaric Faulkner along and left.
The two of them walked away intimately, looking like a couple deeply in love. It was then that Yvette noticed a stranger next to Eleanor Sterling.
She furrowed her brows lightly. Eleanor and his actions were too intimate.
What about Alaric Faulkner?
Did Eleanor dump him?
One question after another popped up in her mind. Before Yvette had a chance to think, a nurse ca out to tell her that Ronan Keating had woken up.
Yvette imdiately brushed all her doubts aside and turned to enter the ward.
Ronan woke up quickly, his vital signs were stable enough to be moved to a regular VIP room.
When Yvette entered, she saw Moira Ray and Ronan Keating staring at each other, not speaking, just looking at one another.
Upon hearing Yvette co in, Moira turned her head and said, "Mommy, he’s awake, but why isn’t he speaking? Did the car hit him dumb?"
Ronan felt pain all over his body. Hearing Moira’s words made him want to laugh and cry at the sa ti.
Looking at Moira’s small figure, he felt waves of emotion in his heart. This was his daughter, the bloodline he shared with Yvette Ray; she wasn’t gone.
He really wanted to hug Moira right now, but he couldn’t move and could only lie in bed.
Yet, Ronan still felt it was worth it. If only Yvette could soften her heart.
Yvette walked over, looking down at him and asked, "Why did you save us? The situation was dangerous back then."
Ronan mustered the effort to turn his head towards Yvette and gave a wry smile, "You all are the most important people in my life. My first instinct was to act, and I have no regrets."
Yvette let out a cold laugh, her expression imdiately turning icy.
"Do you think this self-sacrifice act will work on ?"
Her voice was cold and uncompromising, "The doctor said you’re out of danger, so we can leave with peace of mind. Don’t worry, I’ve already paid your dical bills."
"Moira, let’s go."
After speaking, Yvette stepped forward and took Moira’s hand to leave.
Moira kept turning her head to look at Ronan, seeming hesitant and worried.
Yvette, however, gritted her teeth and didn’t look back.
She was afraid that if she stayed any longer, her heart would soften.
Ronan coughed lightly, the pain drawing through his organs, ultimately allowing only a bitter smile to appear.
At that ti, he could indeed have pulled them away and not gotten hurt; he did have so ulterior motives, but he didn’t expect Yvette to be so heartless.
After leaving, Yvette couldn’t focus.
She hailed a car to go back, then sat inside watching the bustling traffic outside the window.
Moira’s voice sounded beside her, "Mommy, won’t we stay to take care of Daddy?"
"No need, soone will take care of him."
She couldn’t believe Eleanor would stand by and do nothing, leaving Ronan to fend for himself.
In the end, Yvette still couldn’t harden her heart. She took out her phone and sent a ssage to Eleanor, telling her that she had left and asking her to send soone to take care of Ronan.
Yvette dared not fall deeper into Ronan’s love.
The wounds from before had already taught her pain. If it happened again, it would be the end of her.
In the future, she would just live with Moira, mother and daughter together, living their lives well.
