The Elysian Apartnts.
Estelle Sterling ca running with a phone, "Sister Eleanor, it’s a call from your ntee."
Eleanor Sterling, who was applying a face mask, glanced at it, took the phone, and turned on the speaker.
Imdiately, a loud and noisy voice ca through.
"Master! What on earth are you up to? Do you know you’re in big trouble?"
Eleanor said lazily, "Oh, I didn’t know I was in big trouble? Please enlighten , Master Anne."
Anne Adler was a bit helpless and quickly said, "Please, in front of you, how dare I call myself a master? Master, please don’t flatter ."
Eleanor sat up straight and mocked, "Tell , what does Faye Sterling want to do to ?"
"Huh? Master, you know it’s Faye Sterling who’s after you?" Anne’s tone was surprised, thinking Eleanor Sterling was like a prophet who had seen through everything before she even ntioned it.
Eleanor’s voice turned slightly cold, "Speaking of which, I haven’t settled the score with you for accepting Faye Sterling, such trash, under my ntorship. Do you think my place is a garbage dump?"
Anne was shocked and quickly explained, "Master, listen to ! I’m innocent; I never accepted Faye Sterling as my apprentice."
"What’s going on?"
Anne didn’t accept Faye Sterling as her apprentice? This was sowhat unexpected for Eleanor Sterling.
When she previously heard that Faye Sterling was Anne’s apprentice, Eleanor was a bit surprised. She didn’t expect there was more to the story.
"Wasn’t I a judge in the Sparkling Cup before? That’s when I t Faye Sterling, and I rembered she was your sister, so I paid a little more attention to her.
Unexpectedly, sohow I inexplicably beca her master. Anyway, I never formally accepted her as an apprentice."
Anne still felt a bit wronged as she recounted the story.
How did she, under normal circumstances, beco Faye Sterling’s master?
Hearing this, Eleanor coldly curled her lips and said, "I’ve got a task for you."
Anne was a bit excited, "What task? I promise to complete it."
"Whatever Faye Sterling asks you to do, you do it."
Anne: "..."
She was silent for a mont before speaking, "Master, have you lost it? She wants to sue you, make you pay, and put you in jail!"
"Don’t worry, I know what I’m doing."
Anne thought for a mont, then suddenly laughed, "I get it, is this pretending to be a pig to eat the tiger? Fun! I will cooperate well."
As they were talking, the apartnt doorbell rang.
Eleanor looked skeptically, wondering who was visiting at this ti.
"I’ll talk to you later, I have sothing to do." She hung up the phone.
Eleanor opened the apartnt door, and outside stood one big and one small figure.
Caleb Faulkner was holding an exquisite box, which he handed to Eleanor Sterling, "Mommy Eleanor, congratulations on being selected for the Sheffield family’s jewelry design."
Eleanor Sterling stood there in a daze.
Alaric Faulkner, dressed in a black suit, looked indifferent and elegant, he said, "Congratulations."
Eleanor Sterling: "..."
Estelle Sterling heard the voices and ca running out of the room, "It’s little Caleb, co on in."
He pulled Caleb Faulkner into the living room.
Alaric Faulkner naturally followed and sat on the sofa with ease.
Eleanor Sterling, realizing what was happening, glanced briefly and ultimately could only close the door.
"What brings you here?"
The main thing was, how did Alaric Faulkner even know she got selected? Was his information so up-to-date? Or was he keeping an eye on her?
Alaric Faulkner looked up at her, at this mont, Eleanor Sterling in her loungewear, her skin looked as if it could be pinched to release water, quite charming.
He lightly tapped his long fingers on the sofa and casually said, "To congratulate you, and by the way..."
Eleanor Sterling frowned, "By the way what?"
Alaric Faulkner’s eyes were deep, and a wicked curve appeared on his thin lips, "Twice a week."
Eleanor Sterling: "..."
Hearing this, Eleanor’s face slightly changed, so he had co for the treatnt, she almost forgot about that.
