The car quickly stopped at a location.

Hazel Langley glanced around and found it was... the Civil Affairs Bureau!

Jasper Faulkner took her docunts. Bringing her to the Civil Affairs Bureau, could it be that he wanted to...

Her expression beca a complex mix of emotions.

Earlier in the car, Jasper had already sent a ssage to his assistant, instructing him to arrange VIP reception. He led Hazel out of the car.

"Jasper Faulkner, we can’t register for marriage," Hazel said, sowhat conflicted.

"Then who do you want to marry?" Jasper sneered, "After registering with , don’t even think about registering with anyone else."

Hazel was helpless; there wasn’t anyone else.

She had liked him for so many years, how could there be anyone else, but she couldn’t tell him.

That person said Jasper Faulkner was dangerous. Initially, she doubted it, but later he showed her a call between Alaric Faulkner and him.

That’s when Hazel realized that Alaric was also threatened. She had always wondered why he suddenly divorced Eleanor Sterling.

Now she had her answer.

Forced by circumstances, she had to comply with his demands, just to exchange for the antidote.

Jasper ignored Hazel; he directly pulled her into a nearby photo studio at the Civil Affairs Bureau.

Positioning Hazel in place, both faced the cara, and the photographer said to Hazel, "Bride, smile."

Hazel forced a smile, and with a click, the photo was taken.

Jasper took the photo and walked out. Under the staff’s guidance, they quickly completed the paperwork.

From being dragged by Jasper to process the paperwork to receiving the two marriage certificates, it all took less than an hour.

As they were leaving, others who were also there to get married noticed them.

They didn’t recognize Jasper, but Hazel Langley was a big celebrity. Even though she had no makeup on and looked just like she did on TV, she was easily recognized.

Soone quietly took out their phone, snapped several pictures of her, and posted them on social dia.

"I think I saw Hazel Langley with a man at the Civil Affairs Bureau. Could it be that Hazel secretly got married?"

Replies quickly followed.

"It really looks like Hazel Langley."

"No way! Didn’t she just announce her engagent news? How could she get married right after an announcent?"

"Yeah, I think it’s just a woman who looks like Hazel Langley."

"Did you see who the man was?"

The person taking the photos looked up, but the two had already disappeared, leaving only a blurry photo of their backs.

They returned to the car.

Jasper imdiately put away the two red booklets, not allowing Hazel to touch them.

Hazel was completely bewildered. Jasper spoke again, "To the airport."

His voice brought Hazel back to reality.

"The airport? Where are we going?"

"Since we’re married, of course, we’re going on a honeymoon."

Hazel bit her lip; she still couldn’t quite believe that she and Jasper Faulkner were legally married, that she was now Mrs. Faulkner?

She couldn’t explain what she was feeling now: worried yet thrilled, but mostly anxious and lost, unsure of what to do next.

"Where are we going?" Hazel could only ask.

"As my wife, you will naturally attend my brother’s wedding with ."

"But..."

Hazel wanted to say more, but Jasper didn’t give her the chance.

He took out a ring and slipped it on her finger, saying, "Now that you’re tied to , don’t think about running away."

Gazing at the massive diamond ring on her hand, Hazel felt as if she were dreaming.

This ring was sothing Jasper had prepared quietly beforehand. He had intended to propose to Hazel at a great mont.

Unexpectedly, they ended up registering for marriage in such a manner, but perhaps it was for the best.

The car sped towards the airport.

One mont, Hazel had been drowning in sorrow in her apartnt, and now she found herself on a private jet, being taken by Jasper to The Keating Family.
