Seeing Alaric Faulkner co in, Eleanor Sterling felt sowhat relieved.

She was really overwheld dealing with several elders by herself; now the child hasn’t ford yet, so if there is anything to be done, this is the best ti.

Alaric Faulkner ca over, touched Eleanor Sterling’s forehead, and comforted her, "You rest first, I’ll handle this."

Then Alaric Faulkner drove everyone out.

The room suddenly beca empty, and Eleanor Sterling felt her heart empty as well. She vaguely heard the voices of several elders scolding Alaric Faulkner outside the door.

Eleanor Sterling sighed quietly, her hand rested on her stomach.

In her heart surged a mix of reluctance, entanglent, and other complex emotions.

Monts later, the sound outside stopped, and the door to the room opened. Alaric Faulkner walked in with a steady gait.

He sat down by the bed and said softly, "It’s all sorted out, I persuaded them to go back."

Eleanor Sterling frowned and asked, "Do you bla ?"

"No, it’s your body, I respect your decision."

Eleanor Sterling was pregnant; although he was also delighted and happy, he still wanted Eleanor Sterling to be happy.

Upon hearing this, Eleanor Sterling suddenly felt a softness in her heart when she thought of the elders’ earnest expectations.

Perhaps things weren’t so bad, and maybe she should get checked; what if this child could stay?

"Alaric Faulkner, could you bring my master here, let him see if it’s really impossible to keep?"

Hearing Eleanor Sterling’s words, Alaric Faulkner couldn’t help but hold her, whispering, "Alright, I’ll get him to co and see you."

Alaric Faulkner knew that Eleanor Sterling had taken a long ti to make up her mind, and it was probably because of him.

"Don’t overthink it for now. Are you hungry? I’ll have soone bring you sothing to eat."

"I can’t eat."

The two little ones outside the door had been eavesdropping on their conversation, and upon hearing this, they grinned from ear to ear.

It seed Eleanor Sterling had changed her mind.

They high-fived each other and quietly left.

After calming Eleanor Sterling, Alaric Faulkner walked outside the room. Just as he was about to get Eleanor Sterling so food, his phone suddenly rang with a new text ssage.

He took a look; it was from an unfamiliar number.

"Alaric Faulkner, Enchant is waiting for you."

It was a single, cryptic ssage, but Alaric Faulkner knew who it was from.

That escaped Fenrir.

He didn’t expect Fenrir to want to see him; he had initially planned to deal with Eleanor Sterling’s matters first before investigating what was going on with him.

Unexpectedly, Fenrir reached out on his own.

His lips curved into a chilling smile as he put the phone back in his pocket, then asked Elijah Hayes to bring food to Eleanor Sterling, while he headed to Enchant.

Just after Alaric Faulkner left, soone who looked like a doctor entered Eleanor Sterling’s room.

In a white coat and a face mask covering his face.

Eleanor Sterling opened her eyes and saw the person by the bed, surprised, she asked, "Who are you?"

"I’m here to examine you."

Examine? It seed she hadn’t scheduled a doctor’s visit and had only asked Alaric Faulkner to bring Elder Sawyer.

Having just been kidnapped by Fenrir, Eleanor Sterling was very wary. She sat up, looking at the doctor with a guarded expression.

Seeing that he had been exposed, he didn’t disguise himself anymore and took out a white handkerchief from his pocket, approaching to cover Eleanor Sterling’s mouth.

Eleanor Sterling hadn’t even reacted before she caught a whiff of a strange sll, and her consciousness instantly blurred, slipping into unconsciousness.
