Looking up, she found his deep eyes gazing at her, just as she had imagined in her heart.
Eleanor Sterling inwardly sighed at the sin.
It seed Silas Hawthorne knew Eleanor had already seen through his thoughts, so he smiled openly, "Since you’ve noticed, I’ve nothing to hide. Knowing you’re not my sister, I’m very happy."

She didn’t understand why he was so persistent about her.
Eleanor gazed at Silas Hawthorne with complex eyes, "Silas, Alaric Faulkner and I are already married, aren’t you being obstinate?
In the future, you should be able to find a girl you’re fond of, so stop... overthinking."
Silas smiled without any embarrassnt.
He said mildly, "Don’t worry, Eleanor. Alaric and I are friends, I won’t do anything to confuse you two.
It’s just that you were the first woman I had feelings for, and it’s naturally not so easy to forget."
Eleanor pursed her lips, feeling that Silas said these words just for her to hear.
If he had truly moved on without a ripple, how could he possibly show such excitent upon hearing this news?
It was just unfortunate that fate wasn’t on their side.
They couldn’t be siblings, nor partners.
Estelle Sterling’s voice floated from behind Eleanor, "You’ve lost your chance, Sister Eleanor is already soone else’s woman."
Caleb Faulkner also chid in with a smile, "Uncle Silas, don’t steal Daddy’s woman, otherwise Daddy won’t let you off."
Eleanor was filled with exasperation, these two little rascals, so cunning, and they eavesdropped on everything.
Silas laughed, "Let’s not stand here anymore, let’s go inside quickly."
Eleanor successfully t Warren Hawthorne, and they chatted for a while in the study.
Warren kept the sa attitude, also telling Eleanor not to worry about this matter, and that he would still regard her as his daughter.

As she was about to leave The Hawthorne Family’s house, Stella Hawthorne hurriedly ran in, and upon seeing Eleanor, imdiately said, "Eleanor, you’re here? I ca back as soon as I heard you were at my house."
Eleanor hadn’t seen Stella Hawthorne in a while, she smiled and said, "It’s not like we can’t et, you specially ca back to see ?"
"Eleanor, stay for dinner today."
In the end, Eleanor couldn’t resist Stella and stayed at the Hawthorne’s for dinner.
While waiting, the two of them took a walk in the garden.
Stella hesitated for a while before speaking, "Eleanor, I’ve seen it all. Even though we can’t be family, in my heart, you’re still my good sister."
Unexpectedly, Stella sought her out just to say this, Eleanor smiled and replied, "Yes, in my heart, you’re my good sister too."
They didn’t beco distant because of this, instead, it brought them closer.
After walking a bit longer, Stella looked hesitant to speak, and Eleanor noticed, so she asked proactively, "What happened?"
"It’s just..." Stella appeared reluctant, hesitating for half a day before whispering, "Xander asked to be his girlfriend, I don’t know if I should accept."
After all, Stella had been hurt by Felix Fuller before, and she was afraid to start another relationship.
With no one else to confide in, Stella sought the opinion of her good sister, Eleanor Sterling.
