Eleanor Sterling and Alaric Faulkner moved into the Keating Family’s ho once again.
With previous experience, Eleanor knew acupuncture worked well on Mrs. Keating, making her more adept at administering it.
Ronan Keating hired a legal team to sue Claire Truman, refusing diation, determined to make her pay the proper price.
The scandal escalated beyond control; even the Truman Family couldn’t suppress it, leading to Claire’s reputation being utterly destroyed.
After handling everything, Ronan Keating secretly went to Aethelgard alone to find Yvette Ray.
Eleanor heard the news too late, as Ronan was already on the plane, causing her to grind her teeth in anger.
The damn Ronan Keating dared to harass Yvette Ray while she was distracted.
Eleanor initially wanted to have soone bring him back, but Alaric stopped her, stating, "Ethan Finch is badly hurt; he can’t donate bone marrow to Moira Ray, and even if he recovers, it’ll take a long ti."
Upon hearing this, Eleanor raised an eyebrow, "So you an... let Ronan treat Moira first, then kick him away?"
Alaric chuckled at Eleanor’s rciless words.
"That’s right, Ronan is Moira’s father; his match would be more compatible than Ethan Finch’s."
Listening to Alaric’s words, Eleanor cald down.
Finally, she nodded, "Alright, arrange it that once Ronan arrives, he imdiately gets checked to treat Moira promptly, then get rid of him before things get complicated."
"Alright, I’ll arrange it."
Considering for a mont, Eleanor added, "Don’t let him know Moira’s still alive; he should live with guilt all his life."
Alaric agreed to it all, realizing he should avoid provoking Eleanor in the future, lest he brings trouble upon himself.
...
In Aethelgard, at The Faulkner Group’s dical office.
Yvette Ray finally t Moira Ray and Ethan Finch; upon seeing them, tears stread down her face, feeling a relief as if she’d regained sothing lost.
Thankfully, fate hadn’t played a cruel trick on her; she hadn’t completely lost Moira.
Though Moira was still weak and not fully conscious, it was the best outco possible.
After spending a long ti with Moira, Yvette returned to Alaric’s villa.
At the entrance, Ronan Keating stood there, looking haggard, appearing to have aged a few years.
Uncertain of where to find Yvette, he went to Alaric’s villa, unexpectedly running into her.
Yvette’s emotions remained unmoved upon seeing Ronan, and she said nothing.
She bypassed him, intending to enter the house.
Ronan stepped forward to follow her in, but Yvette looked at him coldly, reprimanding, "Get out."
"I’m here to atone, Yvette. Please give a chance to admit my mistakes, no matter what you want to do to ."
Yvette looked at Ronan, her eyes full of deep complexity.
"Anything?"
Ronan nodded, "Yes."
Even if Yvette wanted his life, he would give it without hesitation, the only way to make ands for his wrongs.
Yvette sneered, "Too bad I’m beyond seeking revenge on you."
She wondered why they were still entangled; they were clearly unrelated anymore.
She didn’t want revenge nor any connection with Ronan, now only wanting to spend her days with Moira on Serene Isle.
"Yvette, I’ve handled Claire’s situation; she’ll be punished, and I’ve annulled my marriage with her. I’m not hoping for your forgiveness, but at the very least give a chance to atone, alright?"
Yvette scoffed loudly, as if it mattered?
The youth and ti she’d lost were irretrievable.
Yvette pushed past him, entering the villa and shutting the door.
